Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

I'm a bit fussy about sausages so usually go veggie. I may get some chicken ones this week.
Need to meal plan and shop. Start again now party season has finished

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/10/2018 08:31

They're grand, I actually used to like sausages despite knowing how bad they are for me, but I've not really eaten them in quite a while now. Pack needs using up so had two for my breakfast this morning also.

It'll be strange not having cake as a food group Grin

Went up 3lb over the weekend, back down today. Clearly salt and lack of water and fibre weight.

Step class done and feel much better. Will do weights on Thursday.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/10/2018 16:49

Excellent life

I'm going to pull out my weights tonight for 30 mins ShockShock

I admire people who can be arsed to do home work outs.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/10/2018 21:38

Well I wasn't one of them this evening, was getting black spots in front of one of my eyes this evening for about an hour and not feeling great so decided bed was a better option.

OP posts:
mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/10/2018 21:42

Think I might be hormonal, was hungry & feeling off this evening & decided to have a bowl of cornflakes & I'm not a cereal person at all my go to foods are eggs/chicken/cheese Hmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/10/2018 07:11

Defo best not to weight lift. Sounds like bed was the best option.

WFH today so will do about 4 steps from lounge to dining room.
No gym as have a church meeting.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/10/2018 07:23

10.600 steps yesterday. Back to tracking good. Just short of macros but hit cals.
Going to reverse the creep up of weight.
Wash to and from work and either pump or combat today

mammynowanauntyIRL · 11/10/2018 10:24

I hit 12471 steps yesterday, hoping to walk with ds in buggy while dd is at gymnastics today.

My 'goal' at the moment is to hit 4 of 4 days of weekly exercise on my fitbit.

I nearly always do okay with food.
Yesterday for some reason I was 100kcal under, had soup for lunch and was only short 3g of protein, when I went to bed at 11.30pm(about 2 hours late for me) I was full so didn't force it.

We're doing ok life on my high waisted jeans, I'm gone in another two notches on my belt so my waist is shrinking, but not my things, pity we can't spot reduce Grin

Walked with ds in buggy, until he got out to walk on top of a wall Grin
Stepped it out to 10k then watching the letdown on Netflix.

Starting an hour later at work tomo, if it's not stormy I might run during this time otherwise that home Heroes workout I've been promising myself

Just saw lowest weight this year, went back on my readings and it was last seen on 17th December Smile

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2018 07:50

I felt dreadful yesterday and went over cals. My own doing as I had a scone instead of a proper lunch after body pump.
Still not hit 15k steps but averaging 10

Wolfcub · 13/10/2018 08:34

I seem to have dropped a pound or two which I am promptly going to ruin by going drinking all day

mammynowanauntyIRL · 15/10/2018 16:22

How did that go for you wolf Grin
I've discovered that fondant fancies from aldi are only €1.39 for 8 of them and 104kcal each, this is not going to be good for my waistline.

Took one up to bed last night and ate it in peace and solitude SmileCake

I thought I was fantastic a few weeks ago fitting a scone into my cals and then I was starving later and went over my calories too!

Lost 0.9lbs this week Grin

How's everyone doing?
I'm only meh at the moment

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 25/10/2018 06:06

Doing ok but leaning towards meh if I’m not careful. The holiday weigh is very slowly coming off, I did pure damage there. None of the usual drop off. The week before I left for my break my average on 30th September was 156.8, last Sunday my average after being back a week was 161.7
Found it hard to revert back to 1700-1800, just gotta to keep going. I don’t want to be heavier by Christmas

thistimenextsummer · 25/10/2018 07:32

Hello over here frugaleers! I feel a bit like a double agent 'first rule of frugal fat club' etc etc 😬

I'm feeling full to the brim and sick of October overindulgence. October is always busy and combined with end of term 'sod it' I'm tipping the scales at my heavier end of comfortable. Would love to join in here for a pre-Christmas slim down please?

mammynowanauntyIRL · 25/10/2018 21:22

@Not2bObvious pick one habit to sort each week, there are 8 full weeks to Christmas now Shock

I'm holding it under the 168 but only just.

My steps have fallen again Angry

Hi thistime definitely room in FatClub like a colleague used to call it Grin

I'm going shopping in 4 weeks with my cuz who's very honest, I'd like to buy something for a wedding I've got over Christmas holidays so I need to keep myself in check now. Bought same time last year for a wedding beg of jan & gained weight & outfit wasn't comfy don't want that to happen again

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 26/10/2018 08:38

Thanks mammy, I’m doing great on the steps/macros just going over on calories too many times a week. My average was up to over 162.9 after the holidays so 1.2 off in the first week was acceptable. I guess it’s a bitter pill that it takes me 2 months to lose 6 pound and 1 week to put it back on! Anyway marathon not a sprint & all that. I have a great habit (well I think it’s good!) for December. With all the tins of chocolates, it was just a disaster every year. For the last 3 years I’ve had a nice advent calendar and only eaten that 1 sweet a day, I got sponsored by some family & I put money aside to, we donate to either SVP, the Capuchin order (Dublin based soup kitchen/food bank) or Focus.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 26/10/2018 10:57

I was looking at the Lindt advent calendars longingly in Debenhams

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 26/10/2018 11:06

That’s the one I get mammy, I wait for the 2nd day of December & get them half price in SV😬

WereWolfcub · 26/10/2018 12:35

Still stuck at 15. Gah!

mammynowanauntyIRL · 26/10/2018 20:46

Grin not2 frugal Grin

Blush gosh I think I've a lot of catching up to do - have no idea what I weigh in pounds (and only guesstimate stones - 12.10 on a good day, 13 on a bad day) and have no idea of calories.

What o do know is that I had fish and chips and Prosecco last night, mousakka and red wine tonight and an iced ring donut somewhere in between BlushGrinBlush
Frugally I get a free breakfast and cooked lunch every day. I need to make this work smartly or il have to bring my own which is not so frugal. Anyway, half term has finally arrived so I need to get my plan together over the next week - help needed please!
