Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

I believe she was advised

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/08/2018 18:13

I joined when it was calculated based on your tdee so this was right for me then. This year I was ill at start of the year and can't get my steps and activity consistently up to 15k so while I would be on higher calories I don't lose then so I made the decision in conjunction with one of the coaches to stick to 1600 until I can get my activity levels right.

I could definitely eat more calories but I'm eating more than I was prior to Team Rh so it's ok

I think I’m just a greedy fecker. I do the 15,000 pretty consistently but then I also eat more than 1700 - I’ve cut back on the alcohol drastically but probably replaced it with rubbish. Oh well

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/08/2018 20:34

Are you losing though not?

Not2bObvious · 09/08/2018 21:03

No - not at the moment. Gain of .7 last week, and I’d say a gain of 1.5 this week. Hurt my back earlier this week and it’s cut my steps down a lot. It’s just diet fatigue, I hope it’ll pass. I know the plan works if I actually do it - find the protein goal a chore to reach, maybe if I reached it I wouldn’t be as peckish. Meh, need to get my shit together

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/08/2018 07:43

When I hit my protein I'm satisfied not2obvious and then the lower calories don't seem as low either. I know you're not feeling well with your back but that won't stop you getting your food right. I'm on track this week for 3lb loss, which will bring me back to where I was a month ago so basically just eliminating the holiday gain, and next week then it'll settle back into 0.5-1lb loss again.

Wolfcub · 10/08/2018 08:25

4lb off the holiday weight gain

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/08/2018 09:05

wolfcub that's excellent, how's life with you now?

The only thing stopping me getting my food right is me, I’ve decided to up my cals by 100. I’m going over anyway so at least this way I’ve a chance of sticking to them. Protein is lower at 1800, seems more manageable. Scales shot up to 163 this morning, I was 159 last Sunday so my average is going to be closer to 2.5 up. Drawing a line and restarting. Not looking back

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/08/2018 12:04

I was on 1800 for two weeks and found the lower protein very hard to get to grips with after chasing protein for so long. I did it for two weeks before coming back down gradually to 1600, I had binged a couple of times and it helped to get that out of my system.

Today I'd my day all planned out inc some treats but still hitting my cals & protein & 28g fibre but one of the reps at work brought in magnums & I refused at first told him to put it in freezer but later I ate it Angry annoyed with myself now I've got 160 cals left & not had any dinner Sad

Not great eating or drinking yesterday chez Wolf. Today is likely to be a repeat. Chalk it up to life and a very rare solo weekend

mammynowanauntyIRL · 11/08/2018 10:10

Wolf you'll be back on it after the weekend.

I ate a battered sausage, yummy salty chippy chips and a snack size toffee crisp last night

mammynowanauntyIRL · 12/08/2018 13:06

Nice one mammy

Wolfcub · 12/08/2018 18:10

God I would love to be in the 160lbs! Great going Mammy

mammynowanauntyIRL · 12/08/2018 20:16

Wolf I'm a teeny 5'2.5" so it's quite overweight for me.
I've a wedding to attend end of Dec. It'll be my first wedding ever to have either just my name or my name + 1 in my life. I'm aiming for 140lbs range by then & hopefully down to target for my birthday at end of Feb. I'd like to look good at my first big event as a singleton.

Only day 2 of changing to 1800, feels pretty good so far. My average was up 2.8 on Sunday, so 3.5 over the last 2 weeks. Attempting to look at this as a restart.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 14/08/2018 06:01

Good, once it gets the going over under control, did you consult the coaches about it?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 14/08/2018 09:52

No, I wouldn’t have 3 weeks decent data and I’d prefer not to have my arse handed to me on a plate 😉 Fact is I couldn’t stick to 1700 so I’m trying a bit of logic by increasing the cals/decreasing the protein a bit I might get better control. Down 4 pounds since Sunday which I know means nothing really but it’s helped my headspace.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 14/08/2018 12:50

That's fair enough, I went up to 1800 calories on their advice a while back, I hadn't the steps right but I was consistently doing 10k and everything was tracked. It was enough, I didn't get my arse handed to me on a plate and I was expecting to, plus I got a mega quick reply too
