Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

I love spicy food so it'd probably suit me Smile

I've had birthday cake & a burger & chicken kebab but kept my back to the sweet table at kids birthday party so I'm pretty happy with that. Only chicken kebab was unplanned!

I've a protein snickers, bottle of water & bag of popcorn in mind for cinema probably not got enough calories for all but I don't go to cinema often, about twice a year so I'm going to enjoy it.

Defo enjoy it mammy.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 06/08/2018 08:59

Life I know you were saying your disillusioned with it at the moment. Have you any interest in reverse dieting like Stef? Sesh monster to step monster is her fb page. I'd love to be like her or catgetsfitnfab.
I'm guessing stef's single & hasn't children with the time she has for gym so I probably won't be able to be as intense as her but catgetsfitnfab is a single mother with full time job and long commute so I could achieve what she's doing.

Tried running with my dog yesterday, he's too old unfortunately, even walking a toddler would be quicker than him, he stops as often as they do to look at stuff too Grin so walking him won't get my steps in.

My dream is to get to reverse diet...I need to learn to diet in forward mode right now...quivers lip

mammynowanauntyIRL · 07/08/2018 15:09

Me also not2 but like you got to power through this stage first.

I've recently been put on Microlite to protect my bones rather than HRT as I'm only 35, I was in dread of what this would do to my weight and so only just started taking it yesterday.

Funnily enough, after a bit of googling, it seems if your levels were too low in the hormones it contains it just might lead to weight loss so fingers crossed for me!

If I could get to 133lbs I would be absolutely delighted. 36+ lbs to go though.

Sundays weigh in had me at 170.5lbs average but average for this week is about 2lbs lower so hopefully I can keep it at that!

Well done on the 2lb loss mammy that’s brilliant after holidays. I gained .7 this week and now my back is at me again. Bloody miserable

mammynowanauntyIRL · 07/08/2018 17:36

22nd July 168.8
29th July 172.4 (one weigh in only post holiday)
5th August 170.5
Today 168.6 so I'll hopefully be back to pre holiday weight this weekend after returning home on 28th July, I'm ok with that. Prior to team RH this could've taken a month.

Are you limited to what you can do so, even those seated workouts someone had up?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 07/08/2018 17:40

That’s great post holiday turnaround. I’m too depressed to even try a workout, I’ve managed about 6,000 steps so that’s something. I was 3 weeks in agony last time it went into spasm, devastated (over dramatic much?) it’s happened again. Feel so bloated and shit, can’t even put the scales on the floor if I wanted to weigh in. Anyway, it’ll pass I’m sure

Cagliostro · 07/08/2018 17:56

I am 2lb up! Not in the least surprised TBH. I will be sad not to go to the specialist (briefly seeing endocrinologist due to dodgy thyroid result but pretty sure I will be discharged) with an amazing loss - he was very impressed with what I lost last year, 4st, but I've maintained basically since new year. I will explain that the time since I first saw him has been unbelievably stressful/full of pain and dizziness due to the move not to mention the heat (causes flare ups). Ugh. I don't know how to get back to a decent mindset TBH I'm so embarrassed, my only saving grace is that I haven't put on overall.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/08/2018 18:15

You have been through a lot though cash and can now think about getting into the mind set again.

I don't know Mammy. I've been very stressed in every aspect of my life recently so have stopped wearing my Garmin and stopped tracking. I'm maintaining between 129-131 (133 peak last week)
I will look at reverse bulking but I will need to be doing the activity too before then.

Well done on your weight loss.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/08/2018 19:40

*cag.
My phone always wants to change cag to cash

Not2bObvious · 07/08/2018 20:03

Wow cag - maintaining a 4 stone weight loss is no mean feat, pls be proud of that. I can barely maintain a 4lb weight loss these days.
You sound like you’ve diet fatigue big style life, whole thing is a ball ache some days

Not2bObvious · 07/08/2018 20:04

If I had balls, I don’t, oh you know what I mean

mammynowanauntyIRL · 07/08/2018 21:23

Went for a walk tonight so getting started on my adding steps back into the mix! Thought I'd add in home Heroes this week too but going to wait until next week I think.

Cag you've maintained 4st loss that's a major accomplishment and you've kept on top of your health issues too.

Life get on top of one thing in your life & then the next & if Team RH isn't one of those things then it's not, once you're maintaining you're in a good place.

I always always think this is important.

Cagliostro · 07/08/2018 22:19

:o I wish I were cash that'd make life a bit sweeter :o

Seriously though thank you. I sort of forget the big loss sometimes TBH as I didn't really do much apart from get pregnant but a repeat of that is NOT an option

mammynowanauntyIRL · 08/08/2018 06:23

Saw lowest weight in a month this morning!!

Normally I'm up during night to loo, looks like I slept straight through last night!

I'm tired - smashing food & water but steps are a disaster! Work is really busy, I'm working 7-6/6.30 most days. Actually in bed now for the night.
37g fibre today might be too much for me Blush

OP posts:
mammynowanauntyIRL · 08/08/2018 21:21

Oh ya just remembered I woke this morning at 5am that might be part of it too

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/08/2018 22:06

37g fibre is a lot. The hours will not be helping Mammy. Just focus on one thing.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/08/2018 06:29

It's helping with my loss though life Smile
Being back on track since holidays is really helping on the scales!

That's great mammy. Well done you. What do you eat to get that much fibre?

Not2bObvious · 09/08/2018 09:54

Seconding the question about the fibre, wow mammy that’s some nice losses. My scales is just going up....I have a pain in my face - I think I’m destined to be stuck at a certain weight forever

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/08/2018 17:04

Yesterday I had these & 15g popcorn and Aldi slimwell tikka masala

You’re on quite low cals mammy, was that your decision or were you advised? I’m on 1700 and I’m really struggling😩 When people say they can’t eat that much I want to cry, and I just can’t stick to it

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/08/2018 17:40

Mammy is in the 1600 group with me. I can eat mine in a morning with little effort. Grin
