Thanks for the password.....Having scrolled through this thread I note giving out different passwords - does that mean it changes all the time??? I'm bad enough at remember where I left my keys let alone asking for a password every week!! Hey ho.

Have a headache today and resisting the urge to comfort eat!

I stocked up on alpen light bars too today! Gonna have a chicken stire fry for tea....yumm!

lumpychump · 12/07/2007 16:04

lunavix - how do you do the SW torilla chips???

katylou25 · 12/07/2007 16:49

Had a fab week this week after my dissappointing 1/2 lb loss last week when I did my first ever 100% week - so this week I just did as usual with one night off - and lost 4 1/2!!! sO GOT MY 2 STONE STICKER AND WAS slimmer of the week! How do you do the tortilla chips Luna??

I like cadburys melts - only 3 syns and although they're only little they're really chocolatey so you really feel like you've had a treat!

IndigoMoon · 12/07/2007 20:30

I lost a lb this week so 13 lbs in total since mid may. its coming off slow but it is coming off!!!!

am really chuffed though and i feel so so so so much better :D

kid · 12/07/2007 21:04

I do my weigh in tomorrow, hope its decent as its so frustrating when its only a slight loss.
I messed up a bit today. I thought I was having a red day so had tuna sandwich for lunch. But then I realised I was having veg curry for dinner so now I need to work out the syns for either the curry or the tuna. I'm sure it will be fine either way but I like to keep track of what I am doing.

daisybo · 12/07/2007 22:10

well done katylou and indigo moon, and good luck kid. it's a bit dis-spiriting when you only lose a little, but i guess you have to luck at the big picture - indigo moon that's such a fab weight loss, nearly a stone!!
katylou i am in awe - i will be sooooo happy when i get to that kind of weightloss!
you guys give me hope that it can be done
i think i'm doing ok this week, had to fry my egg with olive oil though - i find they go a bit manky when i use frylite - any exuse huh?
and luna spill the beans on the tortillas, i lurve mexican food, and am serously missing it!

hiya roundthebend, what is the 'fast forward' programme? ive pretty much stayed the same weight for the past three weeks and i need to shake things up a bit.

katylou25 · 13/07/2007 13:01

Thanks daisybo - It's taken me since Jan so quite slow, compared to some people, but I need my takeaways and nights out etc!! Have dropped two dress sizes as well so have had to buy a whole new wardrobe which has been great, have gone from a 20 to a 16 so has opened up a whole new world of shops which stock clothes that will fit me! want to get down to a size 12 so am guessing thats another 2 stone ish to go - am going on a hen do this weekend tho so am prob going to have a HUGE gain!

daisybo · 13/07/2007 18:04

two stone in 6 months is great tho - esp if you still manage to have the odd take-away and get away with it!
i am getting married next summer and have my final wedding dress fitting in january, need to loose around 1 and a half stone by then, so hopefully i've got enough time to get there
when i first tried the dress on about 2yrs ago (looong engagement!) a size 10 fitted me, since having baby number 2 i'm now a 14 so am desperate to get back into a size 10 wedding dress, and get rid of my c-section jellybelly!
where are you luna?? we are all desperate for your tortilla recipe

IndigoMoon · 13/07/2007 22:32

i have got this off another site - i am not sure if it is the recipe but though i would c and p anyway

Tortilla Chips

----------------

Ingredi ents

Fry light Lasange sheets (the cheapest you can get - Asda are 27p a box) Seasonings: salt pepper mixed herbs chilli 5 spice seasoning whatever you fancy
Procedure

Put o big pan of salted water on to boil Put in one lasagne sheet, boil for 3ish minutes til soft enough to cut Cut into tortilla shapes (ie half into two squares, each square into 4 triangles works well) Spray a baking tray with fry light Put on the triangles Season Bake for 10ish minutes til golden brown and bubbly These are ok!! Nice with a free salsa (coriander, tomatoes, onions, garlic, chillies). They keep in an airproof tin too (apparently). If you are going to eat LOADS you might want to count a couple of syns here and there according to my Marjorie Dawes woman

kid · 14/07/2007 07:23

I managed to put on 1lb this week. Wish I hadn't moaned about only losing 1lb now
Still, there is always next week. I just need to sort out my menu plan for this week so I can stick to it. I find that much easier to follow rather than just make up what I want to eat as I go along.

lunavix · 14/07/2007 18:25

Sorry everyone!

Yes the tortilla recipe indigomoon posted is it - we were told to use the oxo seasonings range, esp the chinese one. They're really yummy, you use one oxo cube for around 3 trays worth of chips (so it works out negligible)

really good

I lost 4.5lb this week Was over the moon. I'm 3.5lb away from my target, but I'm considering moving it another 4lb away to 9st.

Oh - mexican bean stew with feta (free if feta is HE on green I think) , and steak with pink peppercorn sauce (think it's half a syn on red) both SW recipes are HEAVENLY
And I've finally got the hang of making SW potato wedges so woohoo

Oh I don't know if anyone has an instore near them (think it used to be poundstretcher??) but alpen light bars are 99p a pack there.

lumpychump · 15/07/2007 09:34

Doh - stocked up on alpen bars in tesco on friday!! Worth getting more though as I love them!!

You are doing very well - what's your secret lunavix? Do you exercise too?

I am doing OK I think. Just had a green day brekkie with one hash brown 1.5syn - so worth it!

I have ordered a jason vale book which was recommended on another thread.

I go around and around in circles with weight loss. I can lose a good stone or so and then something will happen like I get ill or stressed and it's all down the pan! Bring on the biscuits!

Feeling a bit low about it all at the moment......

Smithy · 15/07/2007 15:46

Had a major pig-out and now feel really bad. Been at target for sometime but dh is away and I've just eaten a big helping of Mud Pie.

kid · 15/07/2007 18:08

I treated myself to a takeaway the other day after passing my course at work. We went for an Indian, probably the worst meal we could have chose but it was really worth it. Back on track today though

daisybo · 16/07/2007 08:51

just weighed myself and lost 2lbs, making 5lbs off since i started two weeks ago, am really chuffed!

daisybo · 16/07/2007 08:51

oops

Smithy · 16/07/2007 09:57

Think I've put on 4 or 5 lbs this week . Really pssd off and got ds1 home today sick as well so can't get out. I'm in a foul mood - really need some time out (on my own) but can't see that happening short term.

Smithy · 16/07/2007 09:58

Oh, and started doing a food diary again to get back on track. What makes me more frustrated is that I've only got myself to blame - totally self inflicted. Doesn't make it any easier though.

HelenLoveJoyOfSpringfield · 16/07/2007 10:53

Hi everyone

I am a regular member of the thread, (having a name change at the min though!) will change back on Wed when I go to my slimming class again, I have fell pretty badly off the wagon & haven't been to weigh in for 3 weeks

So.. can anyone please give me this weeks PW so I can get back online & get back on track again?

Well Done to all of you who have been doing well & losing!!

I had a weeks holiday in France last week & spent it eating baguettes, croissants & freshly made pizza This is the girl who had stopped eating bread altogether!!! I guess I have gained about 6/7lb in my absence

assumpta · 16/07/2007 10:57

Roundthebend, can you tell us what the fast forward week is please as I desperately need this to boot me on. I lost only a couple of pounds in the first few weeks and felt that I had been doing well. Then got really disheartened when I got weighed. I definately need a kick start!! Thanks

IndigoMoon · 16/07/2007 14:43

hmmmmmmmmmmm

i am getting lazy - i can feel it.

i had a bit of an strange weekend. i was good all day and then on the evening just go maaaaaaddddd!!!

flexible syns all the way.

am back on it again today but i am not sure how i am going to have got on by the time weigh in comes.

babyducky · 16/07/2007 14:59

hi everyone, mind if i join you?

Used to come on here few months ago but have name changed since then.

Had my ds 8months ago & have been doin sw on & off but finding it very hard to stick to! Not sure why as I know it works(done it before i was pregnant) I just cant get motivated to do it properly, I'm hoping you lot will help me!!!

Cant get to any classes as they are all at awkward times so am doing it alone, want to lose about 2 stone.

Also I'm getting married next summer & I'm determined to have a size 10 dress!

Wish me luck!!!
