Thank you. I feel totally ignorant not to be able to tell what it was. I can't stick to any diet as there is always some excuse to have something like crossonant or Danish pastry. I used to be so strong before i had my kids but now any excuse to have comfort eating when they are in bed! I hate the look of my waist and my belly. i really need some good eating habbits for life and stop snaking after 9pm but all these health foods like cherries, apples, plums just get me into stomack upset stage and i know now somebody is going to say that i have irritable bowel symptom but it's simpler I just eat to much of it all to feel myself and avoid eating other things and then of course I suffer.

monday, but have been nearer 15syns every day than 10..
but i'm breastfeeding but i'm breastfeeding (repeat ad infinitum!!)

IndigoMoon · 07/07/2007 10:28

daisybo

my consultant said often one slip up does us no harm but if we think "oh well to hell with it" and eat everything in sight for the nextfew days after that is where the damage is done.

i have a flexi syns day once a week and have still lost week on week. i may have lost quicker if i had stuck to it rigidly but its not realistic for me.

daisybo · 07/07/2007 18:09

thanks unchief and indigo moon, think i've really blown this week tho. just went to my sisters for the day and she had lunch out on the table when we got there - nachos and other v.lardy but v. yummy mexican food! oh well, there's always next week, i've got till january (wedding dress fitting!) anyway
unchief - yes it was me, glad you like it, i've just been to jojo and spent a fortune in the sale on new things for ds and dd - you should take a look! lol!

yes it's online too
i am bankrupt after jojo and boden sales in one weekend!
i'm trying to loose 1 and a half to 2 stone - trying to fit into my size 10 wedding dress!

fedda · 07/07/2007 21:38

size 10? I'll be lucky to fit into size 12! What do you do to reach your goal?

IndigoMoon · 07/07/2007 22:10

fedda - this is a thread for people doing slimming world. there are a number of weightloss threads for different methods but this is specifically slimming world.

fedda · 07/07/2007 22:46

Okay.

Sparkler · 07/07/2007 22:49

There I was having a "mumsnet party" with my vodka and diet coke and pringles and this thread pops up.
I stopped doing SW a month or two ago because my consultant was rubbish. I haven't had the willpower to go it alone. I really need to lose weight though and must find a way to get back on track.
Maybe a trip to the supermarket tomorrow to top on Slimming World essentials is in order and I can have another go starting Monday.
Why is losing weight so hard?

daisybo · 08/07/2007 09:32

sparkler - i'm doing it on my own as well so to speak. i can't get to any meetings cos they are all around dd's bedtime and i am breastfeeding her. i think it's a bit harder to do it on your own as the motivation isn't there in the same way - you're not paying £4 to get weighed iykwim!!
HOWEVER - i'm just going to weigh myself every monday morning on my own scales and post on here how much i've lost/gained
after screwing up completely yesterday i'm off to sainsburys now to buy lots of healthy food
does anyone know if you can count ryvita minis as a healthy extra? [hopeful emoticon]

zookeeper · 08/07/2007 09:39

Asda chick pead dahl was free on green - now it has new labelling - does anyone know if it is still free please?

lechuga · 08/07/2007 11:46

daisybo-yes, any flavour of the Ryvita minis can be used as a Healthy Extra. Am unsure about the Asda chickpea dahl though-I hope so-I practically live off it. If only I had an old can to compare the fat/protein etc with the new can. Does anybody know? I don't go to class anymore so I don't have a consultant to ask..

IndigoMoon · 08/07/2007 18:05

i had egg, bacon and toms for breakfast and it was lovely.

still cannot get my head around how it is all free but heigh ho
