Hello All,

Well done to everyone for their losses and even if you have maintained or gained, you know you can jump right back on the horse and lose next week as you have done it before!!

My first weigh in tonight, quite nervous really,more nervous than when i went to sw last time, maybe its because i know its the last chance saloon (bit of a cowboy theme going on!)

Very proud of myself as i went to a gig last night and didnt drink any alcohol at all, my first sober concert wow!! and still had as much fun, and i'm not hungover so dont feel like eating everything in the house today RESULT

However straight after weigh in tonight the wine and nice things are coming out of the dark corner that i have banished them to all week!!! ha ha

p.s I thought i was being weird for only wanting to eat free fruit on weigh in day now i see that you are all at it!!!

Yes, I have wondered about that as I have two packets of pitta bread (wholemeal) in freezer.

I have also done it when having a fresh fruit salad by adding tinned peaches as well, just to bulk it out. Seems a bit daft that once fruit is in a tin, that it is syns (obviously to do with the fibre in the skin, but I get loads of fibre anyway!)

Was alls et to go for a walk - got pram ready, then it started to rain - not going now as on school run later - should have walked this morning when it was fine! Will go and clean kitchen instead!

Just had a fab omlette with cheese, ham and mushrooms - all free on red day (cheese as an a choice!)

We went to town to get stocked up for our holidays... And dh was hungry

So we went into the cafe & he got a chicken chili wrap & garlic fries with salad

I had a slice of wholemeal bread with poached eggs.... I know, a HE & free eggs.. but it's weigh in tonight & I usually never eat on weigh in day So am all annoyed now incase it has an effect on my weightloss later... am I being daft?

Those of you who do eat normally on weigh in days, what do you eat & what time do you have it at? A lot of members of my sw class have their dinner before coming out..

Bighotmama - I must admit I have been quite angelic on the plan, and have managed not to cheat or go over my sins at all since starting. I'm not saying I'm an angel but I had to get into the bodice I had brought to get married in, and I managed to yesterday. So today I went out and brought a skirt to go with it. I have brought it so I can't pull it up over my bum, so that should keep me on track for a while else i'll be getting married in the bodice and my knickers.

I was well chuffed today I went in the bridal shop to look for a skirt and the women asked me my size. I said i needed a 16. she looked at me started laughing and said don't be so absurd, you look more like a 12 to me. I'm not I am a 16 just like i said but it was nice for someone to say that and mean it.

I eat normal on weigh in day, have my breakfast, lunch and normal snacks, then have my dinner when i get home. I am really sad though and stick to plan even on weigh in night, no naughty goodies for me.

I used to not have any liquids or food after about 3pm when I used to go to a 6pm class. And would only eat freefoods btw. But as I weigh myself at home I weigh on saturday mornings but after I have had a poo of course sorry if tmi

In my book it does says pitta bread canot be used as a HE?Not sure why though. So I normally count it as 7 syns, its a bugger as I love chicken kebabs.

I just looked my book too. Pitta can't be used as a HE as it's not as substantional & filling as bread What a load of bollox, especially if it's filled to the throat with salad & chicken!

[Though when I use a pitta I stirfry chicken fillets [HE] Pepper, onions & mushrooms & add a spoonful of sweet chilli sauce [2 syns] Yummy.... but I only usually have that on weigh in night.

Tonight after class I hav stuffed chicken fillets, small potatoes oven cooked with garlic & herbs & fresh veg YUM!

ohhh andyrobo thanks..lol am now having omlette tonight for tea with some grilled chicken and salad. dh is having a 'fry up' a la fry light..lol

Well done everyone!!! Just been reading through the last day's messages! Hope you had a good time at the gig Hollyg and good luck with your weigh in tonight. Good news about your blood pressure Joby1970. Caykon, I have to say, way to go!!! I think all you ladies are doing brilliantly!

I had my 2nd weigh in last night and I maintained. Was a bit deflated as I have been walking everywhere but one of the nice ladies told me to take heart and that I had probably turned some of my fat into muscle!. I am aiming to be super good this week and I even did 100 rows on the rowing machine this morning. I think it was the not losing anything that has now spurred me on to doing more exercise. And I shall see if my friend who started coming with me last week is interested in evening, very slow, jogs MamaG!

I find going to the meeting really helps & having friends doing it too

feeling very very gutted tonight as I maintained. I have been soooooooooo good and even been trying to exercise a little more but going walking etc. Although weird thing was everyone in the group who stayed to class had either maintained or put on. couple of others did loose but majority didnt.

If it makes you feel any better, the lady who goes with me every week had gained 4lb tonight.. she wasn't too badly worried really, she said she drank too much @ the weekend!

well we have had a 'normal' dinner but I will admit on way back[have walked the past 2 weeks where I would usually drive!!!] I went into the shop and bought a aero and a yorkie for dh and I. Just contemplating whether or not to have it.

Nemo - dont be disheartened - you have done so well so far - it isnt 'that time of the month' is it? As that can stop you from losing weight as you can retain water. Also, maybe your body is getting used to the diet or you may have ost inches - if you have done lots of exercise then you could have gained muscle - it is a well known fact that muscle is heavier than fat - keep up the good hard work - you will definately see a good loss next week. Just remeber how happy youwere on Sunday when you got the now clothes in a smaller size - dont undo all your good work else they wont fit!!!

You will get your stone award next week - I promise!

Well done to the other loosers - I hope I lose on Tuesday next week!!
