I had my weigh in tonight. I lost 3 lbs and got my club 10 and 1/12 stone award

wizzywig · 12/06/2007 21:05

unchief, thats fantastic! how long has it taken you to lose the three stone?

fireflyfairy2 · 12/06/2007 21:11

Omg well done everyone!!!

TMMJ, you will have the 3lb off you by next week, just concentrate & let the last week go, sure you enjoyed yourself & indluged in a few luxuries, we all do that from time to time

I really am dreading the weigh-in tomorrow night & I have just been down to my MILs & had a glass of wine She goes to sw with me & said she has 3lb on going by her own scales this week... so my guess is that I won't be alone in gaining weight, even though I have been very good & counted all my syns so far this week, I even counted 4 for the glass of wine I had on Sat night, even though I didn't even finish it..

If I list the label off a pie we had tonight for dinner could you check if I'm getting the right syns on sw please?

I get 54.5

It was shared between 4 of us and I didn't even have a 1/4 of it so I'm npt too badly worried, though if it is 54.5 syns I will never ever buy it again!

Energy: 272kcal
Protein: 10.8g
Carbohydrate:19.2g
Fat: 17.2 [saturates 9.9g]

per 100g.

It was a 400g pie.

fireflyfairy2 · 12/06/2007 21:50

Oh crap!!!!!!!!!!!

Bloody hell... thank god I only had a teeney weeny bit as I had too much pasta earlier!

Dh is sat here with his gob hanging open!

mandaxmx · 12/06/2007 21:52

hahaha it is shocking how a normal thing like a pie can hold sooo many syns...just feel good that you only had a bit

fireflyfairy2 · 12/06/2007 22:06

I'll not feel good until I get off those scales tomorrow night!!

Nemo2007 · 12/06/2007 22:13

aww am sure it will be fine.

I also tend to 'pig out' after weigh in but like others have said I stop eating that day, which is stupid actually as am not doing myself any good.

fireflyfairy2 · 12/06/2007 22:14

I eat very little on the day of my weigh-n. Mostly free fruit.

Then afterwards, dh has my dinner ready & I always have, a bar of twix, a bag of prawn cocktail crisps & a bun of some sort

But I only eat crisps once a week on weigh in night usually, but this week I had a handful on a salad on Sunday!

BigHotMama · 13/06/2007 08:37

Do I eat bad after weigh-in??? OF COURSE!!!!!!!! I had chocolate, lager and an indian curry all in one day lol!

Caykon well done for losing 20lbs in 7 weeks, crikey thats pretty good going? I got 7 wks for my holiday hope I can lose that much, have you been angelic? Seems your doing loads of exercise too, go girl.

Nemo which sausages are syn free? (apart from quorn as dont like em)

FFF2 have you tried the danone activia bio yoghurts? They are delish and free.

Roundthebend my motivation to do exercise is having someone to do it with? I go running with my sis and friend once or twice a week, even though they are slim and fit and I cant keep up with them lol, I also play squash so have another person to play with? Otherwise I'd go at my own pace and probably not bother.

Andyrobo, davina does a dvd called my 3 x 30 minute workouts. One is a pump class, boxercise and a yoga type. Really good if you dont have an hour to spare.

I always try and do at least 2 red days and find if I go a week doing all green the weight loss is slower?

Today am doing a red day and having

Grapefruit, banana, blueberries for breaky with 1 slice of wholemeal toast(HE)

Bacon, mushrooms and tinned toms for lunch

Cajun chicken stirfry with onions and peppers with 1 small Jacket (HE)

Hey girls who needs a class when we are on this thread?? Seems a lot of these consultants are hard faced, cant believe about the one who tutted? How rude!

Good luck everyone!
Essay over

wizzywig · 13/06/2007 10:06

hi all, how long has everyone been on SW? i was thinking that whenever i get to my goal weight (am hoping its some time in this decade!!) will i have to go in for regular weigh ins for life? what is everyone elses plans? i have been at weightwatchers twice, got to my goal weight, would stay there for a year and then it'd slowly creep on. are there any gals out there who have reached their goal weight?
P.S my consultant is v.v uninspiring. so i just go to get weighed and leave. its all a bit Little Britain where i have my meetings. at first i stayed for the meetings but our body magic is where everyone says what they ave lost/ gained and then we go home. is that what everyone else does? i preferred what they do at weightwatchers where they teach you stuff about the diet. that was the only good thing about WW, the diet itself left me hungry all the time.

IndigoMoon · 13/06/2007 10:23

well it is my weigh in tonight.

dh laughs at me as i try not to eat much all day.

i am going to walk there again tonight and it is over a mile.

i started off having green days but have more red days now.

yesterday though i was very proud, i went out with some friends ( i was driving so drank diet pop all night) we then went to chip shop and i had chicken and salad and no chips!!!!!!!!! no chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is an achievement for me!!

fireflyfairy2 · 13/06/2007 10:35

Well done Indigomoon!!

BHM your brekkie sounds delicious!

Tonight is my weigh in night too... worrying a little about it tbh.

Dh is off today & I usually go a walk in the mornings, today it is pouring with rain so I was going to give it a miss.... he threw my raincoat at me & we both walked the 3 miles I didn't admit I wouldn't have done it if he was at work
