Anyone want to join me in sorting their shit out! 2.5 stones to lose and I'm starting tomorrow.

I'm working from home today so have just spent half an hour trying on clothes in the vain hope that I might squeeze into a size 14! Not there yet but at least my size 16s look a bit more flattering.

Morning all,
Well done to those who have reduced this week.

Had a bad week last weekend I didn’t count any calories and had wine. I did not manage any exercise this due to stress dealing with my daughter who has ASD. However managed a loss of 1lb put that down to scrubbing a large kitchen floor by hand on my hands and knees - my steam mop is rubbish and my floor is textured (never buy textured flooring) so dirt was ingrained and I had visitors coming.

I am in the healthy weight range but can someone explain to me why I still look pregnant if a relax my stomach muscles! 🤔

Keep going everyone remember forget last week and concentrate on the coming one.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 22/06/2018 09:44

MFP can’t cope with the fact that it thinks I weighed 9 stone a month ago. It keeps telling me I have gained 2 stone 4 in the last month. This is because I set it to maintain 9 stone a few months ago when I was attempting to learn how much I would be able to eat if I weighed that. I failed miserably at that - hence why I do not weigh 9 stone!

ltk · 22/06/2018 12:18

Not weighing in, but clothes fitting better and I have been stickng to my plan, so hopefully on track to hit 180 by 1 July.

Floralnomad · 22/06/2018 14:05

Well miraculously I’m still the same so no change here this week again, congrats to those that have lost .

Greystar · 22/06/2018 16:44

I weighed in -2lb today, not sure how as I had a terrible day good wise Sunday, might catch up with me next week but pleased for now.... any tips for keeping up motivation welcome!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 22/06/2018 16:49

I think that food eaten in the evening goes straight to fat. Which is a pain as I can manage on little during the day (I prefer not to have a heavy breakfast or lunch) but really enjoy a nice dinner. Bah.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 22/06/2018 16:50

But... I managed to get myself into a pair of jeans today that last time I thought I was going to split on half when I wrestled myself into to them!

Rainbowblume · 22/06/2018 18:15

Evening. No gain which is good as I've not had a good week. Still 76kg

KatharineHilbery · 22/06/2018 18:55

Well 1lb down this week so half a stone since starting out, which could be worse. Keep going everyone!

ZetaPuppis · 22/06/2018 20:39

Fekko I think like that about food eaten in the evening. I’m trying to not eat after 7. I feel a lot better for it too.

Food for today was
Omelette
Peach and grapes
Crisps
Homemade lemon cake
Chicken salad which I loved. I could easily have that more regularly.
2 pieces of dark choc

Hmm. I could probably still reduce that although I was losing weight eating like that.

BeautifulFern · 22/06/2018 21:58

I had -

2 small slices of marmalade and toast
small chicken salad
small falafel salad
1 tiny slice of cake
2 glasses of wine.

Not really on a diet though. As I've stopped doing them. I'm going to try and shine as I am Glitterball. It could have been quite a "diety" day though - if it wasn't for the toast, the cake and the wine Grin!

3boys3dogshelp · 22/06/2018 22:33

Very late checking in but I’ve lost 5lbs this week! I’m delighted with that. Just need to find a way to stick with it over the weekend while we have friends here.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/06/2018 08:31

I give up. I ate about 1000 calories yesterday and walked for 2 hours.

And put on weight. You can't win!

waterlego6064 · 23/06/2018 08:38

Chuck the scales away Fekko! Have you taken measurements or a body fat % reading? IMO, they are much more useful indicators than weight.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/06/2018 09:00

New chuffing scales!

ZetaPuppis · 23/06/2018 09:04

It could be anything Fekko. Water retention, bit of constipation or whatever. It’s probably not fat.
Don’t give up.

3boys3dogshelp · 23/06/2018 09:10

Fekko you’ll have retained water after a long walk, don’t give up!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/06/2018 09:14

I had a nice glad of wine last night. Must be wine weight!

NorthEndGal · 23/06/2018 11:39

SorryBlush I haven't updated in so long, life has been crazy.
Just to be clear, I did a 3 day water fast since my last check in so that had an impact. Also I have been doing my c25k and actually sticking with itShock
New weight 175

SlinkyB · 24/06/2018 09:28

Hello everyone, congrats on the losing, maintaining AND not giving up and getting straight back on the healthy eating wagon all round! 👏👏

I've been solo parenting for over a week and have massive PMT rage/weepiness and general exhaustion as it's been a super busy week. Have been non-stop. Did WI on Fri morning and STS so ok with that, but means I've lost 0.5lbs in the three weeks since joining this thread Blush That's just a decent shit let's be honest.

NorthEndGal I saw your other thread about the water fast, how did it go? Sounds really interesting. I've recently had to fast for 27hrs due to a gastro procedure, and felt so week and tired after (maybe down to the gallons of laxatives I had to take tho!). There was something quite powerful about not eating though. Could never do it myself with two young children and a hectic life.

I read some of the food diaries on this thread and feel bad because I eat two or three times that amount!! It can be healthy stuff like fruit and veg, but there's no way on earth I could not start eating til 2pm or eat so little during the day - I'm so envious.

ltk · 24/06/2018 11:49

My size 16 clothes fit. Like, really fit, no squeezing-in and hoping. I am so, so pleased with the results of the last 3 weeks! Did fall off the wagon at a family event Friday night, but back on Sat morning and I hope it won't matter by June 30 weigh-in. Fingers crossed.

stevie69 · 24/06/2018 14:25

Afternoon everyone,

So pleased to see this thread is going strong. Well done to all those who have lost weight this week. If you haven't, then don't let your head go down. Reflect back on the week, make a few small changes and you'll be smiling next Friday.

Sorry for posting late with my results. I weighed in at 8st 12lbs so have lost 2.5lbs this week.

Good luck everyone for the upcoming week. It's tough but ......... we can do this Smile

NorthEndGal · 24/06/2018 15:03

SlinkyB it was great, not as hard as I thought, but I also made sure to have an empty schedule so I could rest whenever I wanted to. I was surprised at how much energy I actually had, tbh.
I did think about food sometimes, but the craving would always pass within 10 or 15 minutes

frustratedashell · 24/06/2018 15:50

Hi guys I'm also on another thread now about Gillan Riley book about over eating. It's working for me, maybe it would help some of you? I've lost 2.75lbs since Thursday.
