Take today's win Fizz and worry about the rest another day.

Seriously, my mop is, was, enormous. Could easily be a Linda or two.

Pony loving the blood letting for weight loss too, feels like it some diet days!

Hoolahoophop · 31/05/2018 08:19

Sad just looked back, 1st May to 31st May, grand total loss of.....2.2lb Blush

HairsprayBabe · 31/05/2018 09:24

Can't find how much I weighed at the start of May.

9st9 this morning, so well on my way to repairing the damage from the last few months. I think I am +3lbs from the end of Feb, so considering I have barely focused on what I have been eating at all I don't think that is too bad.

Although I felt like I had gained a lot more, I think I felt more bloated and sluggish than anything else.

June will be a good one I think!

QuimReaper · 31/05/2018 11:06

Hairspray you've lost five Lindas in two days - that's astounding! You can be the poster girl for my "easy on easy off" theory for next time someone's having a post-holiday freakout.

We need a poster girl because it's NEVER fucking true for me as much as I bang on about it...!

Well done Fizz, love a milestone - don't worry about "mucking it up again", your weight would've bounced around a bit anyway (as you know, which I think is why you use averages) but now you've seen it it'll bounce back down again.

FizzingWhizzbee · 31/05/2018 11:27

2.6lb down in May. Better than nothing.

I fear for June. We have plans that will be hard to diet around for 2 of the 4 weekends.

I'm kind of unofficially trying a bit of 16:8 to see if I can kick start things a bit - basically just skipping breakfast, which isn't generally something I approve of, but I just want to see if I can make a bit more progress to build from.

NaMajesty · 31/05/2018 11:37

Just wanted to declare a NSV. I have a grey blazer jacket thing and it's getting looser by the day. Soon I'll be able to fit into my blue one without squeezing my arms to death!Grin

NaMajesty · 31/05/2018 11:39

Oh I just tried to button it up (purely to see how far it would go) and the material overlaps by a good 3 inches!!!! I could JUST do it up a few weeks ago, but it would pop back open if I sat down or moved too much Blush

QuimReaper · 31/05/2018 12:00

That's fantastic Maj, well done! Goes to show how inch loss can sneak up on you!

Anything over 2lbs a month is good news in my book Fizz and Hoola, half a Linda a week is a good steady loss once you've been at it for a while. Not an ideal sentiment on a 7lb-a-month thread though Grin

Twixes · 31/05/2018 12:14

That's so funny about your haircut Hoola, I need s good chop and I was hoping it'd make a difference to the scales. I remember thinking I'd lost weight after I stopped breastfeeding only to realise it was just the fact that my boobs were no longer full of all of that heavy milk anymore.

Totally at a loss on the thread title, puns generally aren't my thing...this is all I could come up with:

Ju-need to lose a bit of wobble? Join the Slenderistas to lose 7lbs!

Twixes · 31/05/2018 12:20

Yay Hoola and Fizz, a 2ish Linda loss is better than a 2 Linda gain. Slow and steady but heading in the right direction:)

Naj awesome on the jacket. I think the NSV are much more rewarding than SV. Go you!

God I can't wait until the weekend, my mid week calorie restriction is so frickin hard! Slightly up from yesterday this morning which leads me to believe it must've been a weird water retention blip.

Twixes · 31/05/2018 12:35

I've to read a report on chocolate for work. This is fucking torture.

Had another think about my proposed thread title:

Ju-need to lose a decent chunk of wobble? Join the Slenderistas to lose 7lbs for the month of June!

Maybe the first was not obvious enough? Ok I'll stop spamming the thread now!

HairsprayBabe · 31/05/2018 13:09

I just don't want to end up back in the 10s again.
I was chatting with my girlfriends last feb, they are the "eat what you want stay thin type" all about an inch shorter than me and reckon they are between 9st7 and 10st so going over that bracket would make me the fat friend again (in my mind)

I just had 1/2 a pack of quorn chicken ice burg lettuce, a big tomato a mini cucumber and a tbsp. of French dressing for lunch didn't weigh the veg so I would estimate about 190cals for the whole thing.
Also had 1/3 of a cup of blueberries for another 27cals - skipped breakfast for a cup of tea.

DP is working late as it is stock check night in his store, so I will be fending for my self at dinner time, will probably have scrambled eggs.

Attempting to shock the system with three fast days in a row!

Quim I think I had been off plan for so long that my body had forgotten I was dieting and so when I got back into it this week I have had the benefit of the first week of dieting quick loss, water weight and sugars etc. I don't really know how I am going to take things this time I want to lose a bit more - 9st4 on a Monday is UGW but I want to keep things sustainable so I think I am going to have to include more carbs and just focus on keeping things lower calorie.

New on plan week will probably be something like
M - fast
T - fast
W - skip breakfast, low carb lunch, small amount of carbs with dinner
T - skip breakfast, low carb lunch, small amount of carbs with dinner
F - skip breakfast, low carb lunch, small amount of carbs with dinner
S - Late brunch, early dinner, fruit in the evening if needed depending on time of dinner
S - skip breakfast, big Sunday lunch, light late supper if needed

lastqueenofscotland · 31/05/2018 13:17

I’ve not weighed in ages and while I’ve been feeling ok I saw some pictures of me the other weekend and I look shit Sad
Braving it tomorrow...

FizzingWhizzbee · 31/05/2018 13:29

This is a bit weird considering that I'm still heavier than pre-holiday 6 weeks ago (busting Quim's easy on, easy off theory - sorry!), but - I thought I looked thinner this morning. Not everywhere - my tum is still massive (always a problem area, even when I was skinny), but I'm sure I look slimmer around my jawline, collarbones and upper arms.

I might brave taking a photo and comparing to the horrid, horrid one I tool in my smalls when I was 13st 4.

QuimReaper · 31/05/2018 14:10

Ooooh Fizz I bet you've had a bit of a water whoosh! Might not show up on the scales as much, but then, the inches don't always follow the scales, do they. I've had that before, I spotted my reflection in a mirrored surface and suddenly went "hold up, my face looks thinner". It's a nice feeling, makes up for those weeks where you get a scale loss but feel huge Confused

My "easy on easy off" theory is very tenacious, it prevails even in the absence of any evidence from personal experience Grin

QuimReaper · 31/05/2018 14:22

Hair I'm intrigued that you fast two days on the trot, is there a reason behind it? I normally do Mondays and Wednesdays but on weeks when one of those days gets stuffed I end up doing two in a row. (So, practically every flipping week at the moment.) I find my appetite is often less on the second day, but my concentration and mood suffer.

queenie it's miserable when you see a photo that makes you cringe, but try not to get too hung up on it - remember, poor angles, and cameras are horribly unfair. Last summer I went to a friend's birthday drinks in a dress which I've always had marked down as a "slim dress", i.e. it's a bit tight on the waist when I'm podgy, so if it does up comfortably then I should be OK. Friend posted a picture later and I looked like a piglet in a party dress, in every sense. So demoralising!

MissingPanda · 31/05/2018 19:18

Climbing back on in time for next month's thread. Weighed today and am 12st 2.2lb so have maintained which is a miracle considering all that I've eaten over the last couple of weeks. I've been doing okay the last few days though. Haven't calorie counted but have had three meals each day and made sensible(ish) choices. No chocolate, cake, crisps etc

ponygirlcurtis · 31/05/2018 22:50

End of week 3 of weekdays BSD. I have surprised myself with both sticking to the food and cutting out alcohol during the week as well (my absolute diet nemesis). Not much movement on the scales this week but I am hoping that's also because there's been not much of any other kind of movement. Blush

Onwards to June! This will be the month I hit target.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/06/2018 07:24

Morning! Pinch punch first of the month

I’m seriously fucked off. Despite sticking religiously to 1200 calories the scales aren’t budging. I went down a couple of pounds in the first two days and there I’ve stuck. Well actually I went up half a pound then back down a couple of times.

If I didn’t know better I’d think the scales are broken. Seriously I can’t eat any less. I’ll be starving 😕

BitOutOfPractice · 01/06/2018 09:53

We're all on the JUne thread now @fatball
