BUT! I checked back and I'm almost 2.5 Lindas down on last Monday. That was artificially high, but still - it feels like a big win. Hoping to press on over the next week and get back to my pre holiday weight.

So I forgot I was doing 800 cal days and poured myself a glass of apple juice this morning whilst on auto pilot. Oops. Ah well, I'll log the calories from that and make myself and egg as planned and just wait out till tea time. An egg and 200ml of apple juice cannot be over 200 calories surely!!

Good morning all.

Desperate weekend for me has set me back 1/4 of a lb which is mildly annoying.

Nan and Fizz well done on your weight loss. Great to hear successes :)
Painfully slow for me but I know I'm not suffering enough for it to be any quicker. My weekend was filled with steak, chips, pizza , ice cream and lots and lots and lots of booze...

On the straight and narrow now until Friday and we'll see how I am then :)

TGI Friday’s for dinner last night so trying to compensate today. Unavoidable meal out. God it was good 😁
Only had overnight oats and an apple the rest of the day so hopefully not too disastrous 🤞

I haven't done too bad over the weekend - other than a couple of packets of crisps my food has still been BSD and under 1000 calories per day. But with alcohol added my calories are much higher! At least I should have maintained over the weekend though, and back on it today.

Hi Nan , thank you for the welcome Smile. Not good with dieting they don't work for me BUT am eating fruit veg and protein primarily. No dairy (as I tend to eat paleo) and conscientiously cutting out Choc and cake.

May has been another disaster month (that’s a regular pattern for me). Started cutting down today ready for June (my favourite month), I’m an eternal optimistt.

FFS!!!! I was almost 2 pounds up this morning!!!!! I am beyond annoyed about it. I was so good this weekend! I had wine, but no other treats, all my food was well within calories. I was so proud of myself!! I was at maintenance calories at the very, very worst. I said no to ice cream, I said no to chocolate, I said no to crisps, I said no to absolutely bloody everything!

Now, logical me knows it can only me fluid. My scales do body composition as well as weight and they said as much. That should be quick and easy to sort out.

My really-wants-to-be-thin brain is looking at my average for the week that is already in tatters only two days in and absolutely ragingAngry

12st 2 1/2 today. Whilst exercise has been low I fear this is down to what I am eating (and drinking)

I'm not eating enough during the day so am starving when I get home and eating unhealthy snacks and desserts. I don't want to put any more on and need to see things going the opposite way. I have new clothes FFS....

Hi all sorry for the radio silence I have been AWOL and while life is good diet has taken a back seat and I have eaten more pick and mix than I care to disclose.

10st dead (bloody disaster)
Am focusing now have booked holiday to NCY with new boyfriend for August and will not be gaining any more weight.

SO annoying that I was 2lbs from my goal weight and I have just spent two months not paying attention to what is going in my mouth... -get your minds out of the gutter-

Was summer clothes shopping yesterday and I am firmly between a 10 and a 12 for shorts, although the size 10 jeans I bought last month are still fine.

June I am coming at you!

Hello everyone!

Had a lovely weekend away, I feel so full I can hardly move! My surprise Golden Week kicked a Linda to the kerb so I was only 500g over goal weight when I left (down from 900 the week before). This is encouraging with my insane social calendar coming up; on weeks with mid-week socialising I tend to gain about 2-300g, and on a Golden Week I can lose about 4-500g, so by the end of June I should be about where I am now, or at least keep it to under a kilo over goal. I'm planning to start July with a Golden Stint to try and FINALLY lose a couple of extra kilos, aiming for Hairspray's elusive "Monday Morning Weight" goal. Only been trying to do that all bloody year...

Welcome back TV! So sorry to hear about the upheaval, it sounds like you're coping admirably. Well done for not taking refuge in a gallon of ice cream and packing on a bunch of Lindas. I know weight is totally irrelevant at times like these, but it's a small consolation.

Nice to see you too Hairspray! Sorry to hear about the wee gain, but I'm so pleased you're so happy and it's still going so well with the new fella Smile

And finally, welcome fatball - agree, a new name is in order! Well done on the loss so far, and love how a couple more Lindas dropped off you - the magic of the Slenderistas kicking right in!

Oh well done happy! You're so close! My first goal weight is approx 25lb away. SadBut it will put me into the healthy bmi bracket.

I'm finding it a lot easier to log all food intake in the morning and then I have a few calories to work with through the day and I can add small treats so I don't feel like I'm missing out.

4 wine gums have 78 calories. How fucking crazy is that?!

Fizz that is so annoying for you! Don't panic though, get yourself a pint of water, down it and refill it. Rinse and repeat. You'll drain that wine weight in no time Grin

Jem so sorry I skipped past your intro post, long weekend's put paid to my faculties! I really think if I didn't eat cheese I'd have no problems whatsoever losing weight Grin Protein and veg is basically how I eat (during the week) too, I don't do low carb from the keto perspective, but I do think it's an easy win.

How does the 800 cal diet feel NaMaj? Definitely hold off buying new stuff, on 800 cals a day it'll be falling off you!

Yes it is going really well, I met his Daughter on Saturday, she is 6 and an absolute doll very sweet shy little girl. Plus she said I am pretty, so I am a big fan already!

I just need to focus, I was good at dieting before because I had a good routine, now I have a much more jumbled routine, but now I have a holiday to focus for. WFH it is much harder to not snack! but I have done very well and am currently on 119cal for the day, trying my first fast day in GOD KNOWS how long.
Home made veggie curry for tea - no rice or naan obvs.
