I can't believe it's going to be warm and i forgot to lose 3 stone over the winter.

I need to lose three stone... My cunning plan to lose the two stone over the winter was scuppered by me putting on another one.
So does anyone fancy a healthy eating thread? Sensible and no sugar and crap?
Or does anyone have time to follow me around prising the rubbish I'm about to consume out of my mouth?
The plan is to eat really well then at the weekend have one reasonable treat. I'm going to eat carbs but small amounts early in the day and only wholegrain or brown rice.
I'm just going to start with a stone and then see how it goes.

Somehow managed to get back on track despite a weekend of eating & drinking everything. I did lots of exercise though! @slovenlys you’ve inspired me! Will have to see if it lasts Grin

I had pizza for cheat day yesterday but it sent my stomach crazy, errr that'll be the milk intolerance (but.... pizza!!Sad)
Am planning a strict couple of weeks so I can fit into my bday dress that I have yet to buy in a couple of weeks Grin

I tried on some of my old smaller sized clothes earlier (the ones hidden at the back of the wardrobe) & they nearly fit! These are clothes that I wouldn’t have been able to get over my hips before Christmas. Still can’t do up zips & things, but oh so close Smile

Knowing my luck I’ll get to target just as the weather turns so my lovely slimmer summer clothes will have to wait another year Hmm

How is everyone else getting on?

Thoroughly fucking miserable to be honest. I'm pretty much back to square one. And less than two months to my wedding. I just can't seem to kick the wine and chocolate and bread and all the shit I know is bad.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that @londonloves Flowers Don’t beat yourself up. If it was me, I’d make sure my dress was super flattering & I felt amazing in it regardless of losing weight - there is still time to lose a bit, but it will take the pressure off. I loved mine. It was fitted, empire line, but floaty so skimmed over wobbly bits Have you got your dress?

Don’t give up if you have a bad day/week/month. It happens. I’m not banning anything foodwise - it doesn’t work for me as I just crave it more - so i’ve been making little changes which I try to stick to most of the time. I’ll have some chocolate if I want it, low calorie crisps & a small glass of wine (maybe two!) instead of a six pack of walkers, big bar of chocolate & bottle of wine Blush that DH & I (regularly)used to share after a tough day at work.

My goodness, I eat a lot. I'm logging everything on MFP (despite my reservations about becoming calorie-obsessed) and even the good days are around 1700 - 2000 calories. I think my bad days would have been around 4000+. It's working in the sense that I have lost 11 lb but I am constantly hungry and I just don't see how it is sustainable. I exercise a lot (which is why I can lose weight on these calories) and I've cut out alcohol for the month. There are still some empty calories (ice cream/sweets) but the vast majority is lowish carb with lots of veg. Why is my appetite so incredibly high???

I’ve had a pig out tonight. Gone up by 1.5 lbs since yesterday Hmm My appetite isn’t high, but i’m an emotional eater. Bad day at work & I just want to eat rubbish!

Hey lovely people. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
Had a couple of good days, and Anita I good day yesterday (wiiiiiine and forball!) and somehow I've dropped 4lb and am at all time low. 1 stone in total loss now from my heaviest post baby. And only 3lb to go before I break the stone barrier. 7lb to pre baby weight. I'm gonna do it for the wedding yeeeeeah!
I'm finding porridge super helpful to curb the mid morning snack needs.

@PixieN I've got my dress yep, it's a size bigger than I ideally wanted but I'm at peace with that now. It's empire line and floaty, so very forgiving but also won't be a massive problem if I do shift some more weight between now and the big day.

Except that I think my scales are in the blink , my other ones still showing disastrous weight. This and teething baby this morning has me ready to jump off a cliff to be honest.

It's actually quite easy for plans to get scuppered over the winter. The weather's rubbish and people are wrapped up. Sometimes there's not huge motivation. Then along comes spring, you see people out and about looking pretty good and wearing nice clothes and think 'Damn, why didn't I...' and start to panic because summer's not so far away and you realise you've left it too late again.

Hey ladies, how are you all getting on? I’ve been loving the hot weather, but actually feeling a bit relieved that the weathers broken a bit. Not that I flash much bare skin anyway, but I wore a cardie yesterday & felt better about covering up. Damn wobbly bits! Hmm

I've just come back of holiday and only put on three pounds which is great considering the amount of bread and cheese that I ate. However I'm now having major bread withdrawal symptoms Confused

Well I'm 6lb down but still a stone to go. I've hit a wall though but
Got my period today so feeling much less bloated. Hopefully the scales will feel it too.

Well done on all time low. I'm a stone off that but I'm feeling determined. Envy

Trying to keep my step count up too with lots of housework today.

I still have 10lb to get to pre pregnancy weight then another stone to ideal, have found thy being skint in January has helped as can't afford wine or chocolate!
When I hit the next stone milestone (6lb away) I'm going to have a dramatic haircut I think!

I was only thinking about this thread yesterday when someone mentioned Spring. Yet another year I haven't lost any weight. I really don't want to be overweight again this summer so started cutting down food intake yesterday. Need to eliminate wine totally as that's my downfall.
