I can't believe it's going to be warm and i forgot to lose 3 stone over the winter.

I need to lose three stone... My cunning plan to lose the two stone over the winter was scuppered by me putting on another one.
So does anyone fancy a healthy eating thread? Sensible and no sugar and crap?
Or does anyone have time to follow me around prising the rubbish I'm about to consume out of my mouth?
The plan is to eat really well then at the weekend have one reasonable treat. I'm going to eat carbs but small amounts early in the day and only wholegrain or brown rice.
I'm just going to start with a stone and then see how it goes.

I had a grapefruit and a black coffee for breakfast. Surely this means I'll be skinny by lunchtime??

I have 4st to lose 😳 but I'm going to do it in more than a year. I've already got rid of 4lbs. I'm not counting or tracking; nor am I cutting anything out. I'm just trying to eat more sensibly and have managed to work up to jogging 25 mins in a couple of weeks.

Oh I've really cut down on the wine too. Just two (decent) glasses last night and none through the week.

Have a scheduled event ex husband is at on 4th of July and started back low carb last week and already feeling the difference in clothes fitting better.

No sugar
No processed foods
Tons of veggies and lean protein

Size 18 now hoping size 14 when I see ex again :)

Can I join too please? I have about 2 stone to lose. I hate that once again I am ill-prepared for summer clothes. Everything i wear is getting tighter and I refuse to move up a size. If I carry on like this though I'll have no choice!

I started C25K last summer but had to stop due to illness in October. Then winter happened and I've only started at week 1 again this week.

It's so much harder to shift the weight now I'm in my 40s. My downfall is evening snacks.

Exercise does not come easily to me.

I know hmc who does that? It wasn't even the big pack either, she's the same with all her food, just scoffing half of it and then leaving the rest..now I see why I'm the size I am! Right, off to chuck them now!

I don't like C25k. I find the NHS app more irritating than inspiring. I've just decided to start slow for as long as o can and I'm sticking to it so far.

Top weight loss tip:
Get so drunk you throw up, hence reducing calorie absorption of dinner, then feel so horrendous the next day that you can't eat til 5pm 😂
Having weekend away without the baby and am misbehaving! Booze free six weeks starts tomorrow.

Joining. I saw pictures of myself at DDs party today and I look absolutely horrific. Didn't realise I was so big. Going to look at them every time I'm tempted to eat shit. Got at least 3 stone to lose. Find these threads really helpful Smile

I'll join in. Want to lose 10lbs. I've given up chocolate and bread (including pizza) for the 2 months before my birthday. I've started having salad for lunch and am going to make some soup today or tomorrow. I have to follow a low FODMAP diet for IBS so am restricted in the amount of crap I can eat. Can't have flavoured crisps, garlic, onion and a whole host of other things. I have porridge with chia seeds and syrup every day for breakfast. Lots of jacket potatoes, lots of salad. I walk 30-40 miles per week pushing a heavy buggy up some big hills. Why aren't I thinner?!

Hello losers! Did my first proper weigh in this morning and I've lost 3lbs this week. Only my first week, but I'm happy with that. Need to keep it up now.

Love this thread. I definitely need a bit of accountability for motivation.

Well done I should be so lucky, I'm the same weight I think but heading straight into PMT. I've come off the pill that caused me to pile on so much and I can feel the bloat and craving s coming on.

I've been really good today, the key for me is to keep busy, and keep out of the kitchen! I have a busy week planned so have bought posts of salads and chicken to grab and go. I'm think low carbing will work for me as I need to keep full and battle the bloat.

I'm going to try and get a run in when the kids nod off

I'm craving toast and I'm supposed to have given up bread as of last Friday. I've not had chocolate since Thursday so doing well there. I too have come off the pill 2 weeks ago and feel like my period is due to start every day as the cramps are awful. Nothing yet though. Might start tomorrow instead.....

I don't keep bread at home now at all. Is that an option? Only oat cakes and the like. Can put same toppings on them but less addictive
