Welcome to the new Valentine's edition of the best thread on MN™ where we encourage and support each other to lose 7lbs in a month (though that happens so rarely maybe we need to change our USP!)

Everyone welcome, new and old

How weird - maybe I was ill or something - you know when your tastebuds change when you're not well?! I can't remember if I was or not. I was so disappointed. Maybe I'll try one again and see if it's better - I think one of the DC still has one in their stocking from Christmas Wink

Rylanmakesmyheartsmile · 03/02/2018 10:42

Do you know any other bars that are less than 200cals? I've actually gone off kitkats since they changed the recipe of those. I'm not generally a fan of mars chocolate but oddly twixes are a total favourite of mine.

Sadly my fav of a dark chocolate bounty is too high and I can never restrict myself to just one half of it.

BeyondWitchbitchterf · 03/02/2018 10:56

I buy the big bars of 85% dark chocolate at have two pieces of that - 102 cals for the piece I had last night. Rylan, could you have that with some coconut, kind of a create-your-own bounty? In fact they make a bounty spread don't they? You could spread that on the chocolate Grin

Previous talk of bodypump classes did the trick and I got off my arse and into the gym this morning. Now fiercely hungry for protein after golden day yesterday and bodypump before breakfast so am currently cooking up a mahoosive brunch for the family while my arm and shoulder muscles tingle from weights.

Kikisdeliveries · 03/02/2018 11:40

Hmm, computer screensaver across the room is in slideshow mode and currently displaying family photos from when I was at my slimmest (while healthy) 4 years ago. Sigh. Still I suppose despite being 20lbs heavier than that I am also a hell of a lot stronger and fitter than that slim lady.

I did enjoy having actual normal slenderish thighs though.

Softpebbles · 03/02/2018 12:54

Chocolate talk 🙈 I had a cadburys creme egg last week. Wasn't as nice as I expected. However between cadburys and galaxy it would be cadburys every time. Maybe because Galaxy chocolate is just too easy to come by due to having access to a staff shop!

So started the month on 10st 10. Hoping for a 3lb loss as the last few lbsalways seem so hard and my exercise is restricted (and I have no will power!!)

Have a good weekend. 😀

NewYearNiki · 03/02/2018 13:44

I actually have to watch chocolate now my wisdom tooth extraction has given me sensitive teeth and if chocolate sticks to some of them it stings.

Blessing in disguise I guess.

HairsprayBabe · 03/02/2018 14:19

All gone to pot, drank loads of wine last night, ate pizza and feel sore today so have only eaten carbs today 😐
Will be better tomorrow.

BeyondWitchbitchterf · 03/02/2018 14:23

What happened to the Diet Coke? 😕

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 03/02/2018 14:29

Scrambled eggs on whole meal toast for breakfast then ran 5k on treadmill at gym. Peckish now will have some oaty porridge I think, then steak later. Have to pick dort up from a party at 11pm so that will help stay off the drink tonight!

Just shaved legs etc for the spa tomorrow. I'm so excited.

twinkledag · 03/02/2018 14:37

Had chicken salad in Nando's and a bit of DS's garlic bread & then a slice of cake for mother in laws birthday.

Chicken and veg and exercise biking later! I so want to break out of this 11 stone bracket!!

HairsprayBabe · 03/02/2018 14:46

Beyond peer pressure 😂

GrooovyLass · 03/02/2018 15:08

Oh hello, just found this thread!

I've just started at WW (again...) and I want to lose 10 stone in total. I try not to look at it as a 10 stone goal though as that's ridiculously overwhelming - it's 10 lots of one stone goals. I like the idea of 7lbs per month as I'd be halfway there by Christmas!

BeyondWitchbitchterf · 03/02/2018 15:17

😂 hairspray

I'll be joining you in peer-pressure-land, just had a phone call from a friend to go on the piss tonight but I don't even have enough cals spare for my diet wine 😱

Think I'll have to aim for a good average for the week... 😬

lastqueenofscotland · 03/02/2018 15:27

Hairspray I'm sometimes fairly convinced we're the same person

Any words of motivation for getting off my fat lazy arse and going for a 5k run while I have the chance to? Currently eyeing up a pizza and some lindt... Send help.

Kikisdeliveries · 03/02/2018 16:30

Pip that pizza and chocolate will taste sooo much better if you run first. Even better, the run might made you eat something else!

PipGirl404 · 03/02/2018 17:04

I'm off out!! Arrrgggghhhh I hate running

PipGirl404 · 03/02/2018 17:42

I feel sick. Running sucks.
Fastest 5k though apparently says my Garmin! 😣

Naughtysausage · 03/02/2018 18:56

Ooooh what Garmin do you have pip? My Fitbit Alta is just not cutting the mustard these days and I'm eyeing up something new and exciting. Also well done on the run! On Saturday's I do park run so that it's over and done before breakfast.

And hello grooovy! Welcome!

Rylanmakesmyheartsmile · 03/02/2018 20:22

I have the Garmin forerunner 35 Naughty and I love it. I also switched from an Alta and it is far, far better. It's much more accurate and I love not having to take my phone with me on runs because it has gprs. When I bought it the guy in the running shop said to me that there's a reason when you line up at a race almost everyone is wearing a Garmin - because they really are the best

Kikisdeliveries · 03/02/2018 20:43

Well done pip!

twinkledag · 03/02/2018 20:44

I ate chocolate arrgggghhh

TheCatOfAthenry · 03/02/2018 21:14
