Anyone up for a current thread? I've had a good search and couldn't find anything recent!

I've got the book/cd and am downloading the app too. I'll start tonight.

I've never done this kind of thing before but am very open to it working :)

The Platypus You've got it! Congratulations! I'm so pleased, I've been trying to encourage people to start with P.M. on this site for years! It's for life as far as I'm concerned!

Dottydotts · 28/03/2018 18:02

Platypus yes it works. It's not just PMs way though . This way of reverting the dieting mindset has been around since the 80s with many others doing books on it.

CuriousMama · 30/03/2018 11:42

Got an email to say the book is in the library. Alas it's shut for Good Friday.

ppeatfruit · 30/03/2018 11:57

Dotty I'm not aware of other books about the PM way of eating. I vaguely can think about one on mindfulness?

Dottydotts · 31/03/2018 11:42

pp eating mindfully is not a concept he alone developed although I love his hypnosis cds and books . I started with Overcoming Overeating by Jane Hirschman in the 80s/90s.

Dottydotts · 04/04/2018 01:44

How's everybody 🤗

ppeatfruit · 04/04/2018 09:08

Yes fine thank you Dotty I'm going 'off line' soon, if there isn't a proper general strike here! I'll be back in a few weeks. keep up the good work everyone Grin

Dottydotts · 04/04/2018 10:15

Are you going away pp?

ppeatfruit · 04/04/2018 12:04

I live between Fr. and Eng. so Iam back and forth ! I stay with my mum who hasn't got BB !

MinaPaws · 04/04/2018 12:37

And another supercheap week - just £250 for a stable conversion on a farm near the sea in UK for family of four. I like a bargain.

MinaPaws · 04/04/2018 13:03

wrong thread. Blush

Dottydotts · 04/04/2018 15:58

Smile pp

Hiya all can I join? I'm looking for some group chat and inspiration. I'm 3 stone over weight after having 3 boys in 2 years 10 month now my youngest is 17 month and I can't seem to lose any weight. I've just got the I can make you thin book with CD and dvd in it and am ready to go so eager to start losing! So happy to find a thread still going. I'm reading the book today in parts as I've 3 young boys running about and I run about with them all day but I just eat way too much I'm a comfort eater I don't just eat with the kids I then eat with my man in the evening and I eat as much as him even though I've already over ate on breakfast lunch snacks and dinner with the boys it's like I just can't stop. I'll watch the dvd later and put CD on to listen to after boys in bed tonight. How are yous all doing??

mamaof3boys · 05/04/2018 14:35

I hope people are still here and doing Paul Mckenna i can make you thin Smile

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 06/04/2018 01:05

I'm still here, but got a bit derailed by Easter and have not been following it properly this week and am annoyed with myself. Old bad habits creeping in and didn't get a chance to listen to t he CD again last week with everyone off school/ work and around under my feet
Will do better!

mamaof3boys · 06/04/2018 08:52

I listened to CD last night and also watched dvd he makes a lot of sense. It's like how not to over eat but eat what you like Grin I've tried some crazy diets like the green smoothie diet and the crazier 5 bite diet but I feel so drained after 2 days I go make a huge pot of pasta lol. Easter threw me off too with 3 little ones and so much chocolate around and endless chocolate oranges for me and my man ~my favourite treat and seems everyone bought me one. With 3 little boys I love full cupboards and a full fridge too but I am more strict with their treats than my own. I love what I've read of book too and the amazing success stories. Usually by now I would of had a chocolate biscuit or 5 with my coffee but none yet am not one for breakfast never could eat early am up at 7am don't usually eat till 12 ish except for biscuits but nothing yet so something working!!

mamaof3boys · 06/04/2018 08:54

Platypus so glad you are still here Smile

mamaof3boys · 06/04/2018 08:58

Anyone else still hereSmile

Dottydotts · 06/04/2018 10:33

I'm still here but thought you had all gone...other than pp. We have been doing this forever though 🤗

Dottydotts · 06/04/2018 10:38

Well done Platy Smile. It's normal to enjoy Easter eggs and all the celebration food at times like Easter. Once you really get into this though you will find you eat as much as your egg as you want then stop as you know you can have more later, or the next day or the next. You lose the "may as well eat them all now as it's Easter" mentality.

Dottydotts · 06/04/2018 10:39

Welcome Mumof Smile

Dottydotts · 06/04/2018 10:41

I think Easter will have derailed a lot of you in this thread but you haven't blown it ! Just start again. Slim people with no diet issues eat their fill of choc eggs and hot cross buns with lashings if butter too. Then they go back to their normal eating .

gaggiagirl · 08/04/2018 11:39

Hi! Can I join you? I read this thread last week then got the app a few days ago. I'm only on day 2.
Im a bit horrified about the sheer volume of food I was eating before. I was eating it for no reason. It would appear that I'm very rarely actually hungry.

Dottydotts · 08/04/2018 12:24

Hi gaga . Yes Overeating when not hungry is mouth hunger usually. Different from real "got to eat NOW" hunger

Dottydotts · 08/04/2018 12:25

Sorry gaggi
