BOOP I didn't used to have a moderation setting either but I find that I can do it low-carbing when I am just cruising along and not actively trying to lose weight. don't have one for booze though, although I am trying to moderate more at the moment, with varying success

Soup was nice enough, had an accident with the chilli powder again though so it was a bit spicy! Put a blob of sour cream in it as I had some calories spare and it was open in the fridge. Accidentally (yep, again) went a bit overboard with it, but luckily it's still within my allowance Grin

BOOP I'm all or nothing. Thought that after 6 months I'd be ok to buy multi pack crisps and chocolate but no. I eat them all in one go so I just don't buy them.

BOOP I’m all or nothing, I put it down to being a Scorpio, we are black or white, never grey.

Three golden days now that I’m writing it all down and really hoping for an angel week. KOKO are you with me yet? I’m trying really hard this week.

Hope everyone is climbing back onto the wagon, we need some good losses in January to spur us on towards spring.

I had a bit of an indulgent day. Not catastrophic as with always I cycled 8km and walked alot and did a circuit training class.

Anyway I had a very indulgent Thai dish made with coconut milk. Very rich and other rich food. Now I feel bloated and sick. Just the deterrent I needed.

What do you normally have Boop? and what is you calorie allowance for the meal?

Strictly speaking the best thing to order diet wise is a 1/4 chicken on the bone and one of the vegetable sides.

If you prefer a chicken fillet order a pitta but specify no mayo.

Avoid the hummus at all costs 800 calories in one go there!

no but if you go to the website

Then you can build the meal you want and it will tell you the calories

A 1/4 chicken with corn on the cob and chargrilled veg would come to 521 cals

But you can obviously swap the sides about to see what you prefer, a 1/4 chicken and a mediterranean salad is a nice option for 566 cals!

You can also specify breast or leg meat depending on what you prefer when ordering a 1/4 chicken.

Morning all! I've been bumbling along this month (life got in the way somewhat) but I think I am ready to get my head back into the game now. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 2lbs for the month, I'd love to lose another 2-3 before the end of the month. Sadly I have a run of night shifts looming on the horizon and my eating always goes tits up when I do them, so I'd like to be as golden as possible before then.

BOOP I don't really have a moderation mode either. When I actually manage to lose the last half stone plus my christmas gain I am planning to adopt an S diet way of eating. (S diet? No S diet?) Hopefully that will keep me on the straight and narrow.

BOOP I have no moderation setting either! Particularly with booze. I'm OK with crisps and chocolate and things, I can happily ignore them in the cupboard or just have a little bit, but that's dumb luck rather than will power. Cheese, booze, etc. though, it's all or nothing for me, which is why I designate on and off days!

Weight this morning was a touch under 12st 6 which I thought was very positive. its slow going but I hope if I continue for another week or two I may finally feel I'm away from the hovering around 12 and a half st which is where I spent most of the last 2 months of 2017. I think the apparent healthy BMI is about 12 st 4 which is something i didnt think I would see a year ago when I joined the slenderistas so fingers crossed Smile

BOOP Nandos pitta and corn is now my choice when dragged in there. I took Hairspray's advice last year and it worked well for me Smile

Morning all. Tales from the scales show 11.4.6 so 1lb down from last week, fingers x’ed I hang onto that for my official WI tomorrow.
I’m trying to think do I have a moderation mode...hmmm. I think yes during the week and sadly no at weekends, although I’m constantly trying to improve the weekend behaviour. It’s a sodding way to live being careful all week and mucking it up over the weekend. What’s working for me (only so far, I should stress) is to not go too low during the week so I don’t have the urge to eat ALL the food. And I’m also looking at weekends as maintenance days, Friday & Saturday at a maximum so I’ll eat 2000-2200. I also only eat 2 meals on Sat/Sun so I can have moreBlush Have a nice brunch on Saturday, and then something like a nice steak or homemade curry for dinner and 🍷
Sunday is a mini fry, about half the size of my brunch and then a late lunch/early dinner combined. Sunday has been my lowest calorie day the last couple of weeks, helps balance it out!
Of course this weekend I have a lunch with a good friend and that’s going to break all my rules, but I don’t care. Time with friends is rare so I’m going to have what I want rather than what I should.

I did get quite drunk on my Gin on the weekend - pre measured my 300ml in my tonic bottles (think I mentioned it here though I'm on a few weight loss threads atm so it might have been another one?) and it was only 666cal Grin

Counted that in my calorie allowance too, so there was a definite lack of food calories!
