It’s that time of year again when mince pies attack and the baileys is calling.

Trying to stay on the wagon is easier when you ihave the Slenderistas on your side

People have noticed too. I had two people remark on the weight loss at the gym today.

lastqueenofscotland · 03/12/2017 15:55

Pony I was utterly utterly wild in my early twenties. I'm not much better now on certain company but have thankfully learnt getting to that state with work is not advisable Confused

TheCatOfAthenry · 03/12/2017 21:54

Had a lovely circuit workout and bought myself some light weights for toning.

I've so much more energy and I'm coming up to 2 stone off since November. BMI 30.4, so nearly not obese!

HappyGowerGirl · 04/12/2017 08:15

Happy Monday all & well done everyone on the weightloss, the inches and the exercise!

I had a completely outrageous weekend, the food wasn't too bad but I've had so so so so much booze😆 Also a take away late last night😳 It was an amazing weekend though so I don't regret it for a second. Weighed in at 59.5kg (9.5ish) this morning so the damage wasn't too great...😂

HairsprayBabe · 04/12/2017 08:22

Not a golden weekend for me by any stretch of the imagineation...

Ate sooooo much at my friend's dinner party on Friday, I could feel I was full but it was so good I didn't want to stop! Also drank a stupid ammount of mulled wine and gin.

Saturday I was epically hungover so in survival mode and ate cheese eggs and bread for every meal.

Sunday I went for a roast at my mums with pudding

10.1 this morning, so +3 lbs already...
Fast day today and tomorrow... this weekend is another busy one.
Afternoon tea and the ballet on Saturday afternoon, followed by a takeaway with the inlaws in the evening as BIL is up from Cardiff.
Family party (dad's side) on Sunday, off to my Grandmother's where there is always SOOOOO much food!

This month is in a downward spiral already!

HairsprayBabe · 04/12/2017 08:23

Oh!
And I got into my prom dress this weekend, so I am officially the same size I was as a teenager!

twinkledag · 04/12/2017 08:24

Weekends are always hard just get straight back on track and you’ll be fine for Friday weigh in!

My Sunday menu was - bagel, burger, a couple of squares of dark chocolate, my toddler’s leftover curry and a bit of rice, apple and a Baileys while decorating the house. So not bad but not amazing either.

Planning on a good day today -

Porridge & raspberries
Soup
Chilli con carne and salad

NoelNiki · 04/12/2017 13:23

I can hardly believe I'm typing this.

9.7.

HairsprayBabe · 04/12/2017 13:33

Amazing work Niki! I felt like I was catching you up for a bit last month but you have stormed ahead again now!

NoelNiki · 04/12/2017 13:49

The last time I was this weight I was 24.

twinkledag · 04/12/2017 15:49

So jel @NoelNiki !

fishonabicycle · 04/12/2017 15:51

You lovely people are all doing amazingly! I have never posted here, but really like reading! I lost almost a stone last year to get to a weight I am pretty happy with, but have to maintain. I was eating really well for a while, but a bit too much sugar is creeping in so am going to do the no snacks, no seconds, no sweets (apart from occasionally at weekends) from now til xmas then again afterwards.

ponygirlcurtis · 04/12/2017 18:05

Well done Niki. Smile

You can do it fish, only a few weeks and you will feel much better for it.

QuimReaper · 04/12/2017 19:51

Welcome want, new and ferrier - not the usual influx of new faces, guess everyone's resigned to December being a shitshow! Grin Welcome back Iheart too- 8.5lbs in one month is absolutely amazing!

So I lost my FitBit a couple of weeks ago and I FINALLY have a replacement - I feel complete again! I absolutely must have a golden week this week though, last week was a mess and next week will be too... Argh!

Therealjudgejudy · 04/12/2017 20:25

Hi everyone. Was back on it today after a weekend of just walking and light eating to get over a bug.

Managed a good gym workout after work this afternoon and have eaten my set calories for the day. Early to bed tonight so I can be up super early to hit the gym before work. Well done on all the losses ladies Star

ladylambkin · 04/12/2017 20:32

Last year at this time I was 15 5 I'm currently 12 9 so would love to get to AT LEAST 12 5 by Christmas to make 3 stone Wright loss. Struggling though! Too many lunches/nights out and chocolates/biscuits at work.

I need to find my mojo!

twinkledag · 04/12/2017 20:35

Final menu, came in just under 1200 cals

Porridge & raspberries
Skinny latte
Soup and bread
Chilli con carne and salad
Crisps and 2 squares of dark chocolate as a snack

TheDonald · 04/12/2017 20:44

Welcome to the new faces and well done to those who have lost. Ladylambkin that's very impressive!

I'm back on it today after a very ungolden weekend!

Today I've eaten

Porridge with berries
Soup and one slice of bread
Stir fry with pork (big serving!)
One apple and 2 satsumas (might be 3 before bedtime!)

MFP says 1315 cals.

I'll be happy to stay under 11 stone this week really. All my Christmas events are this week. I dont care if i dont lose before monday. I'll then try to lose a couple of lbs before Christmas eve.

twinkledag · 04/12/2017 21:56

Oh bloody hell I drank a Baileys latte! 220 cals Grin

twinkledag · 04/12/2017 22:01

If I buy an exercise bike and ride it in front of the tele will I lose weight?

HairsprayBabe · 05/12/2017 08:25

9.13/12 scales couldn't really decide and then I had to get dressed and go to work so almost undone the damage from the weekend!

Need to get in The Zone off work tomorrow, then I have a course (lunch provided) on Thursday and workshop (lunch provided) on Friday...

Considering eating a normal sized lunch and just having soup or a small omelette for dinner...

TVHubbyClaire · 05/12/2017 08:36

Too scared to weigh this morning. I managed to turn carol singing into a calorie fest and had TWO AND A HALF mince pies and two cups of soup last night and then went home for dinner Sad

At 5pm on Sunday I had walked 20,000 steps and only eaten a pret porridge and was feeling very good about myself...then i went to pub for 4 hours and finished with a ready meal curry

Hoping for a couple of good days this week before work christmas lunch on Friday. Lasty i know what you mean about trying to calm down the work socialising. I am already planning to leave early and go to my local to finish off evening Blush

Badminton at lunchtime today, possibly squash tomorrow and cardio tennis on Thursday. Fingers crossed I dont blow away all the good work from the last 11 months in the enxt 3 weeks......Hmm

plumstone · 05/12/2017 09:40

Sneaks back on the thread - well November - quite frankly the least said the better, Two work trips and a cheeky girly weekend in Canada - and the damage was a remarkably manageable 3lbs on. So started December at 11st.2lbs which I have managed to maintain for 4 days!!!!

Back on track today and the first "party" of the month is tonight. Its a work one and I will be able to make a sparking water look like G&T!!

Looking at my diary and what was going to be a "quiet" December seems to have got slightly out of hand. Plan is that if I am not out then its normal food and no alcohol unless in company!

Goal is 10.10 for 25th and then maintain till after my birthday in mid Jan.

twobambinos · 05/12/2017 10:49

10st 1 Grin roll on the 9s. Major effort from now until next weekend have a family night out and will be the short fat one as it is!

Exercise bike in front of the telly absolutely

splatattack · 05/12/2017 10:56

Fell off the wagon in a huge cheesy way!!! But back on it today...need to keep going!!!
