Hi all,
I know there’s been threads on this before but I can’t find anything recent in this area.
I know this works as it’s worked for friends (male and female) who religiously so it every 4/5 months. You lose 6kilos in a week.
Anyone want to join me, starting tomorrow?
The rules and diet plan are here;

www.jaduncan.com/2006/04/how-i-lost-stone-in-week.html?m=1

The diet was designed by doctors to help people lose weight (a stone) in a week.. which I really really need as I’ve just started a new job (after 6 weeks off which meant I was bored and ate loads) as none of my dresses fit!!

Xx

Hi is anyone else starting this diet ...Ive started today after a few weeks of eating like it was my last day on earth.
I ended up doing day two though as we had some steaks that needed eating, so I'll be doing day 1 meals tomorrow.
I cheated slightly by having a splash of milk in my coffee and instead off lettuce I use baby spinach leaves for my salad.

midcenturylegs · 01/02/2019 11:40

Hi all,
I'm being spectacularly bad at starting this diet properly!
@longrd how are you getting along?
@Benidorm63 how did you do in the end?

longrd · 01/02/2019 11:54

@midcenturylegs I'm 11lbs down, I have been doing 30min hiit sessions each day. And I've not really stuck to it yesterday but for the first 4 days I did it properly. I'm really pleased with results I feel like I can get back on track now.
I'm glad I did day two first it helped ease me into it.

longrd · 01/02/2019 12:24

Sorry I meant 9lbs down!

UserN0me · 03/02/2019 16:19

I’m starting tomorrow!

UserN0me · 05/02/2019 09:53

I’m on day 2 and managing to stick to it so far. How has everybody got on with their weight loss? I need some motivation!

fullerhouse · 13/02/2019 08:59

UserN0me how did you get on? I’m on day 2 today got to say I’m hating grapefruit already other than that I didn’t find yesterday’s food too hard. Made me realise how much I pig unnecessarily of an evening though.

UserN0me · 13/02/2019 16:05

5lb in 5 days! (I didn’t make it to 7 because the weekend happened!). I’m going to do it again soon.
I think it gets easier as you go along

fullerhouse · 14/02/2019 17:00

I really struggled yesterday last night was horrendous I really wanted to snack but I did it and I got on the scales this morning and I’ve lost 4 pounds I know it’s probably only water weight but it’s spurred me on to keep going. I’m on day 3 now and supposedly days 3 and 4 people find the hardest I’m just hoping I don’t want to snack again this evening like last night lol! It took all my willpower not to. What does everyone eat after this diet? Did you follow a low cal one or something else? Has anyone been able to stick to dieting and then doing it again after the two week break? If so what were your results?

fullerhouse · 15/02/2019 08:57

Got on the scales this morning and I am down 7 pounds. Did a workout last night as wasn’t very active in the day. Am so chuffed it’s been hard going but this has spurred me on to keep sticking to it. I’m at work today so will be super active again and guess what I get for breakfast one slice of dry toast oh the joys 😂

midcenturylegs · 20/02/2019 19:28

@fullerhouse how did it go in the end - did you stick it out?
If not, join me tomorrow!!

mondaysaturday · 21/02/2019 18:13

I managed four days of this at the end of Jan, lost 4lbs and felt like shit the whole time but it did work as a sort of "cold turkey" reset button after Xmas. Since then I've kept it off and lost another 5lbs.

Petrina12 · 27/03/2019 20:50

Hi I started this on Saturday and have lost 4lb

midcenturylegs · 28/03/2019 12:54

@Petrina12 that's brilliant!
I'm going to start after Mother's Day - my Young DD will be taking me out for lunch and I can't take boiled eggs with me! 😂 well done you for doing so well so far.

TooFat1 · 01/04/2019 09:28

Hi everyone. I'm starting this today at 10st 8Ibs. Would love some company, anyone else on board?

midcenturylegs · 01/04/2019 11:34

Hi 👋 I can't start today but I might tomorrow..
I'll be here for support and hand-holding though!

TooFat1 · 01/04/2019 16:13

Something came up for me today also so Day 1 for me tomorrow for definite.

midcenturylegs · 14/04/2019 13:22

I've still not started this but know I should!
How are you doing @TooFat1

TooFat1 · 15/04/2019 17:50

Ashamed to say, but haven't started yet either. Life just keeps getting in the way. Am thinking post Easter at this stage oncr school restarts with fewer distractions. That's the plan, at least!

midcenturylegs · 20/04/2019 09:11

@TooFat1 ok.. shall we do this together? I could really use the support!!! Might just be us annoying everyone else on this (all 3,4 of them!) with our updates ha!
Tuesday sound good, or Wednesday perhaps?

midcenturylegs · 20/04/2019 09:12

I think for me it just needs to be a reset - get eating habits under control, no late night snacking, wine etc!

TooFat1 · 21/04/2019 11:43

Ok, it's high time, can't keep putting it off. Will start Tuesday if it's good for you too. If so, Tuesday it is. I did this 4 years ago and lost 11Ibs so it is achievable esp if you can do a 30 min walk each day, the more the better. So Tuesday then?

midcenturylegs · 21/04/2019 14:43

@TooFat1 Yes. A bit scared I have to admit!

midcenturylegs · 21/04/2019 14:44

Ps 11lbs is amazing! Well done!

TooFat1 · 23/04/2019 13:59

Day 1 for me. Starting at 10st 9Ibs. So far so good. If I can get down to 10st, I'd be happy with that this week. Fingers x'd. How are you doing midcenturylegs, are you with me?!
