Hi all,
I know there’s been threads on this before but I can’t find anything recent in this area.
I know this works as it’s worked for friends (male and female) who religiously so it every 4/5 months. You lose 6kilos in a week.
Anyone want to join me, starting tomorrow?

The diet was designed by doctors to help people lose weight (a stone) in a week.. which I really really need as I’ve just started a new job (after 6 weeks off which meant I was bored and ate loads) as none of my dresses fit!!

I have been lurking and I am on Day 3. The scales showed a 3lb loss so far which is keeping me going, it is bloody miserable though. Hope it will be worth it, I have 2 stone to lose and would like some serious progress before Xmas.

Mybestusername agree it's quite miserable. I was wanting to do it again before Xmas but will see! Hoping it will at least kickstart my arse in gear to dieting. Haven't got on scales as going to try and hold out until Mon morn but don't feel any different.

I feel a little less bloated and hunger is going now. But, i did have melon instead of grapefruit

I've just had my day 3 breakfast , 2 eggs and a grapefruit.
I'm feeling good , 4lbs down and much less bloated.
I've had a Slimatee ( herbal tea from H&B ) the last two nights which has really flattened my stomach.
I need to force myself to drink enough and I really miss milk in my tea & coffee. Will the craving for milk ease during the 7 days?
I'll be shocked if I shift 14lbs to be honest but I'd still be delighted with 10lbs.
My tip is , go to bed early.

I’ve been quite light headed and fuzzy all day, but sticking with it. Am having salmon fillet for dinner rather than lamb chops and I will definitely be having an early night!

It's ok, not so much hunger that's the problem but the tasteless food as no seasoning etc. It is doable though. Good luck 😊

Oh dear, I have started to deviate from the plan a little - couldn’t face dry toast this morning so had a small smidge of marmite on it, followed by coffee with soya milk. I’m sure it won’t completely derail me, but it’s so easy to think “this won’t matter” - before you know it you’re shovelling cake down! Grin

Day 4 for me , absolutely ravenous.
I had my dinner for lunch and spent the day cleaning everything to try to distract myself.
Can’t wait until tomorrow , an avocado and 100g cottage cheese , not even being sarcastic, I am really looking forward to it .
I’ve lost 6.5 lbs.

Hope you're ok pnutter.
I've completed day 1, I'm starving but really want to stick to it. Just cooked my husband a rack of bbq ribs and fries and now sat here with a cuppa watching him eat it Envy

Day 4 here and this has been the most difficult day so far...only 2lbs down at the mo and I am soooo hungry, craving cheese and chocolate. Early bed for me I think.

What is meant by 'salad' here? Just lettuce?

The veggie version lists salad as lettuce, tomato, cucumber and celery only.

I've read through the diet and all the comments on the link and on here and I'm in.

I've put on 1.5 stone since last xmas and feel like shit so hoping to use this as a kick start.

How is everyone doing on it?
