Hi all,
I know there’s been threads on this before but I can’t find anything recent in this area.
I know this works as it’s worked for friends (male and female) who religiously so it every 4/5 months. You lose 6kilos in a week.
Anyone want to join me, starting tomorrow?

The diet was designed by doctors to help people lose weight (a stone) in a week.. which I really really need as I’ve just started a new job (after 6 weeks off which meant I was bored and ate loads) as none of my dresses fit!!

And are we saying when it says salad just have lettuce?

I know this is an older thread but I am interested in trying it.

Can I join? I’ve just done day 1 of this diet. Hoping this will be a good way to lose some weight quickly for a friends wedding next month.

This isn't a particularly active thread is it..
I've got some time off in the next few weeks in between jobs. If anyone wants to join me doing this I'd be keen?

@DonnaMarkZara how did you get on in the end?

@Howmanysleepstilchristmas I'm not sure you'd lose weight after 1 day..
but a male friend has done this diet every 6 months and has always lost a stone. I think the key is to be super strict. He avoided coffee and tea and only stuck to lettuce where it says salad etc. But he also overly likes a drink so I think cutting out alcohol for a week possibly helped that weight loss too

Hmm. I’m going to carry on for today. If the scales tell me 10 stone for a 4th time tomorrow I may take the weekend off and start again next week!

Hey. Ive been so so rubbish at sticking to this, you've done so well @howmanysleeps. I'd ride it out, you might find a drop over the weekend and I have heard of others stalling for a while and then it drops ! And on Monday you can celebrate :-)

I started Monday, just found the thread. Started at 10stone 5.5 lb, down to 10 stone after 2 days but have stuck at 10 stone the last 2 days. Did anyone else stop losing? I only wanted to lose 7.5lb but now I’m worried I might not make it. Bit demotivated now lol.
I’ve done it twice before and lost 11 and 10lb ( started at 11st10 and 11st then though)
Has anyone else had loss stall then pick up again?

Day 1 for me. Starting at 10st 9Ibs. So far so good. If I can get down to 10st, I'd be happy with that this week. Fingers x'd. How are you doing midcenturylegs, are you with me?!

Ok, it's high time, can't keep putting it off. Will start Tuesday if it's good for you too. If so, Tuesday it is. I did this 4 years ago and lost 11Ibs so it is achievable esp if you can do a 30 min walk each day, the more the better. So Tuesday then?

I think for me it just needs to be a reset - get eating habits under control, no late night snacking, wine etc!

@TooFat1 ok.. shall we do this together? I could really use the support!!! Might just be us annoying everyone else on this (all 3,4 of them!) with our updates ha!
Tuesday sound good, or Wednesday perhaps?
