Hi all,
I know there’s been threads on this before but I can’t find anything recent in this area.
I know this works as it’s worked for friends (male and female) who religiously so it every 4/5 months. You lose 6kilos in a week.
Anyone want to join me, starting tomorrow?
The rules and diet plan are here;

www.jaduncan.com/2006/04/how-i-lost-stone-in-week.html?m=1

The diet was designed by doctors to help people lose weight (a stone) in a week.. which I really really need as I’ve just started a new job (after 6 weeks off which meant I was bored and ate loads) as none of my dresses fit!!

Xx

I've given up on day 5, I can't do it anymore. The thought of another salad tonight was making me heave. I've just had a wispa and never tasted chocolate so good in my life Blush

FilledSoda · 27/11/2017 17:51

Premenstrual chocolate is nigh on impossible to avoid Hash , you still did well just the timing snookered you .
My appetite is at its lowest on day 1 so that's an easier time to cut down.

FilledSoda · 27/11/2017 17:52

Wispas are lush to be fair Grin

HashBrowns · 27/11/2017 18:25

I thought I'd be gutted if I gave up and regret it but to be honest I feel more relieved, I had crisps and chocolate as a treat but not going to just eat loads of junk now and put all the pounds back on, gonna have grilled chicken and veg for tea and just try to eat healthier and less! I love veg so think it would be easier to stick to, a nice warm meal instead of boring cold salad every day 🤗 At least I lost a few pounds and it's kick started me in to wanting to eat better so every cloud Grin

Mybestusername · 27/11/2017 18:48

Day one phase 2 done - I could murder a Wispa! Grin

WillowWitch · 27/11/2017 21:09

Well done for getting to day 5 Hash. I'm struggling and it's not even the end of day 1

CalorieTowers · 28/11/2017 07:32

I didn't start yesterday in the end - ooops! Have just had my day 1 breakfast so fingers crossed I don't break at work! Im not sure how I managed to lose so much last time. Might be because I had a fair bit to lose in the first place! I'm 10lbs lighter than I was last time I started the diet but I still have a total of 2 stone to lose. I'd love to do some exercise as well but last time I was soon tired I didn't manage it but will see how I go!

WillowWitch · 28/11/2017 11:07

Good luck CalorieTowers.

I survived Day 1 and I am 5lbs down. I was 14 st and I am now 13. 9

I don't want to get too excited about such a big loss as I've had "digestive issues" since 9pm last night and I think that may be the reason.

Florene · 28/11/2017 11:12

Day 1 of the veggie version for me 🍅🍳🍎🍓🍌

WillowWitch · 28/11/2017 14:02

Good luck Florene

Do you have a link to the veggie version, I'm interested to see the difference.

Florene · 28/11/2017 16:10

Thanks!

WillowWitch · 28/11/2017 16:53

Thanks. The veggie version sounds quite nice.

Had a late lunch today, chicken and tomatoes never tasted so good.

Florene · 28/11/2017 19:02

Just had my avocado and boiled egg with rye bread - was really nice. I don't have boiled eggs normally, I always poached and thought they would taste the same but there was a difference and it was lovely.

Florene · 28/11/2017 19:06

Not looking forward to the grapefruit for breakfast 😣 as I just don't like it. Eggs will be more difficult to enjoy without the toast too. But quite looking forward to the rest of tomorrow's meals.

Didn't have lunch today as was tired from shifts so had a nap instead. Just about to have a black tea Brew

WillowWitch · 28/11/2017 21:55

I really don't like grapefruit but forcing myself to eat it.

That's Day 2 food finished, let's see what the scales look like in the morning.

WillowWitch · 29/11/2017 10:32

Another 2lbs off. That's 7lbs in 2 days. So far, still feeling ok although I could murder a bacon sarnie this morning.

FilledSoda · 29/11/2017 10:40

That's good going Willow !
You might start to like the grapefruit .
Pretty much everything tasted good to me because I was hungry

Florene · 29/11/2017 12:01

I managed half a grapefruit... I have obviously not reached peak hunger yet where everything tastes like nectar!

Florene · 29/11/2017 22:16

Day 2 done - cottage cheese lunch was delicious, dry fried broccoli omelette less so 😝

Not excited by tomorrow's boiled egg breakfast AND lunch but am persevering!!

WillowWitch · 30/11/2017 00:31

Well done both of you. It was after 8 (mmmm) when I eventually had dinner tonight, I was so sure it wouldn't satisfy me as I was so very hungry by that time but I think this is the least hungry I've felt at night so I might try holding off and have later dinners for the rest of the week.

From what I read in the link comments, Days 4 and 5 seem to be the hardest and where a lot of people give up so I'm hoping DH's comment that he can see a big difference in how I looked today (very unusual for him to notice) will push me through.

WillowWitch · 30/11/2017 11:20

Another 2lbs off. 9lbs in 3 days.
I can see and feel a huge difference.

Florene · 30/11/2017 13:30

Well done @Willowitch!

I slept through breakfast today so only have to face 2 boiled eggs now Smile Hopefully missing things out and not replacing them won't be an issue.

WillowWitch · 30/11/2017 14:42

Thanks Florene. It does say eat what's on the list or go without so I'm sure you will be fine. I think I would having my breakfast later in the day though.

Florene · 30/11/2017 14:54

To be honest I'm not hungry yet today, despite having had my dinner last night at 4.45pm as I was going out! I will have the lunch now, and if I am really hungry later I can always squeeze in the grapefruit I missed this morning - that will definitely stop any desire to eat!

Florene · 30/11/2017 20:51

Veggie hotdogs and cucumber (don't like celery) eaten for tea - very nice.

Very VERY excited about poached eggs on toast for breakfast tomorrow!!! 🍳🍞
