Hi all,
I know there’s been threads on this before but I can’t find anything recent in this area.
I know this works as it’s worked for friends (male and female) who religiously so it every 4/5 months. You lose 6kilos in a week.
Anyone want to join me, starting tomorrow?
The rules and diet plan are here;

www.jaduncan.com/2006/04/how-i-lost-stone-in-week.html?m=1

The diet was designed by doctors to help people lose weight (a stone) in a week.. which I really really need as I’ve just started a new job (after 6 weeks off which meant I was bored and ate loads) as none of my dresses fit!!

Xx

Weigh in start of day 5 and I'm 7.2 lbs down .
Finding it tough enough , missing milk in my coffee the most.

That’s brilliant FilledSoda 👍
I am 5.2lbs down so not likely to have lost a stone by the end of the week but still great progress. It’s giving me the kickstart that I needed.
Next week I am planning to carry on with low calorie eating but just add a bit more food so I am not feeling faint and headachey.

I only started yesterday morning and this morning I am 3lb lighter alreadyGrin very pleased with that! I hate boiled egg though so not looking forward to breakfast today, yesterday was fine as I chopped it up and mixed it in with salad but can't exactly mix it in with my grapefruit for breakfast! 🤮
I've watched loads of videos on this diet and almost every one of them said they got very constipated, has anyone here yet? Just so I know what to expect!

HashBrowns make sure you drink lots of water!

I gagged all the way through my boiled egg this morning, just had my grilled chicken for dinner though and really enjoyed it! Just watched DH having a curry and don't even feel jealous, finally feel like I have my willpower back, after years of not being able to find it GrinHow's everyone else feeling?

Clearly this diet is affecting my brain as I have just accidentally eaten the Day 6 dinner when I’m only on Day 5! Confused

Mybestusername I'm only at the start of day 3 and have had the tumble dryer on for an hour with no clothes in there 🙈🙈Grin

I'm down 8lbs at the start of day 6.
I'm not going to lose a stone clearly , I wonder if anyone does.
I can't see any difference in my clothes yet , I need to lose at least a couple of stone to get into most of my wardrobe Sad.
Anyway still plodding away at it , looking forward to milk in my coffee on Monday.
My DH says I'm getting mean Grin

Filledsoda I get really hangry too! I'd lost 3lb at the start of day 2 but only 1lb more start of day 3 (today)

Do you think this will work if you eat all the food at once? I am trying to fast and eat once a day? The less times I eat the easier I find it.

It's the start of day 4 and I'm 6lb down Grin I really struggled yesterday and almost gave up, had a headache, was really light headed and dizzy and had no energy whatsoever. I can see why most people give up on day 3/4. So glad I struggled through though.

6lbs in 4 days is amazing HashBrowns, well done for getting this far.

I've just done the shopping to start this tomorrow, can't say i'm looking forward to it but really need to do it. Completely forgot about a lunch and drinks that is already planned for next Saturday so I'll have to just split the diet, starting back on again on Sunday.

Thank you, I'm so fed up now though, hope it's worth it at the end of the 7 days. Good luck!
How's everyone else doing? Or have you all died of starvation? Grin

Zazu44 Lasting even 5 days is brill though, I've wanted to give up the last 2 days I feel like crap and just want to eat my body weight in food, how much did u lose in the 5 days?

I couldn’t do the whole week Sad
It was the weekend that blew it, I did try to restrict calories but have been eating more ‘normally’ for the last 2 days, and feel much better for it tbh. From tomorrow I am going to try the veggie egg version of the diet, but only Mon-Fri, then just be sensible at the weekend - a 2:5 diet if you like. I’ve lost 5lbs this week and I’m spurred on to fit into my party dress!

Day 5 for me and I'm the same weight this morning as I was yesterday morning, that's a bit shit, makes me feel like I'm torturing myself for nothing then Hmm

Morning I've done this diet before and lost 11lbs so planning on starting today to see if I can give myself a boost before Christmas. I struggle with willpower so will have to avoid all the Christmas treats!

Yesterday was my last day.
My weight loss stayed at 8lbs from day 5 to the end.
I'm pretty pleased with the result .
I do feel more slimmed down , my jeggings aren't cutting off my circulation anymore.
I found it tough but achievable.
Lots of early nights helped.
Had my first coffee with milk this morning , it didn't taste as good as I expected, maybe my tastebuds changed.
Hopefully I'll have another blast at it before Xmas.

Calorietowers, how did you get to 11lbs ?
Was that with exercise too ?
That really good going

Report
FilledSoda · 27/11/2017 10:40

Hashbrowns, it isn't for nothing . It's isn't linear the scales will show you the next day.
Without being gross sometimes it's just a matter of how fast your digestion works Wink

Meh, suppose. I just feel like giving up today though, had my dry toast this morning which is better than grapefruit for breakfast but can't face my fruit for dinner today, just want something nice and warm and filling. Will stick it out though. Tmi but it is the time of the month and I always seem to retain more water then too

It's hard to be hungry when it's so cold outside.
Hang in there in another couple of days it will all be worth it .

It really is filledsoda, had my fruit lunch and my hands were cold eating it.
