Tumbled spuds are basically potatoes that have been roughed up a bit. It looked like this

Please can I join? Currently 141lb and would like to be more like 133lb (9.5 stone).

So not massive loss needed, I just am really struggling to lose it!

Have given up alcohol for November, now just need to cut out chocolate too.

I'm trying to increase exercise through Fitbit tracking.

KikisDeliveryService · 02/11/2017 22:08

Looks lush boop

I’ve had a good day. No logging of food as yet but I’ll see if a better mental attitude helps as I’ve got a super busy couple of weeks coming up and I need to not add the extra burden of logging to that load at the moment. I know my limits and just one extra thing might tip me over and send me flying into cake!

But I’ve had a golden day and not a bad week actually so maybe this is a good start.

I’d like to get back into Mfp later this month.

NamasteNiki · 02/11/2017 23:23

Im feeling on fire this evening.

I had a dress I bought that was too tight. I bought it a couple of years ago but I was dreaming. It was uncomfortably tight and looked terrible.

I just tried it on. Bottom bit fits perfectly and top is a bit too baggy.

GrinGlitterball🍾

OMG! So happy.

ponygirlcurtis · 03/11/2017 07:20

That's great Niki. Smile

Kiki that sounds like a good approach. I think being in the right place mentally is absolutely key.

I have been completely off sugar for several weeks now - doing the low carb bootcamp and being really good. Had pork steak in a bbq sauce last night (pre-prepared) and almost couldn't eat it, it was so sweet!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 03/11/2017 08:03

Weighed myself this morning, I'm down from 12.2 to 11.11! That's a good start- to be fair I've been very busy and have noticed I am eating much less than usual so possibly is expected, but none the less I'm pleased with that.

HairsprayBabe · 03/11/2017 08:20

10.2 so back at lowest low, I can almost taste the nines!

Stir Fry for tea tonight and that should end on a golden day.

Fatcownow · 03/11/2017 10:11

thenewaveragebear1983 - well done! Smile

Niki - i love it when that happens, not that its happened to me for a while but im fighting to get back into a dress iv bought for my xmas do now! - have you got a xmas do to attend at all? will you be wearing it there?

BitOutOfPractice - i dont actually think im fat, just getting abit chunky atm for my frame which all my clothes getting tight and feeling bleugh! so iv taken to calling myself fat cow as a joke! hopefully i can change it by the end of this month to Notfatcow Grin

my evening went mostly well, i did have a mini pack of squishies from the kids halloween stash which i shouldnt off but all is not lost.

this morning iv got fruit for breakfast and a yogurt, chicken rice for lunch which some skips and a tunnocks tea cake, there only 3 points for me so feels like a treat but still low enough for me to enjoy daily if i want! and i need my mini treats to get me through the day!

hows everyone else days looking?

i will be having my first weigh in next thursday, first week is always my biggest lose normally as well

TieGrr · 03/11/2017 12:06

Gah. Cake in the office. Again.

Am once again ignoring it.

Fatcownow · 03/11/2017 12:34

TieGrr - theres always a reason for cake in our office too!
every bloody week it seems!

lastqueenofscotland · 03/11/2017 13:00

2 down from my whale measurement at the start of the month. Aiming for a good day today and at work all weekend so will be good as it's too busy to eat on Saturdays usually!

NamasteNiki · 03/11/2017 13:26

Fatcownow (please change your username lovie!) The dress is just a cotton dress but it is short one with a low neckline and can be dressed up nicely. I could wear it to the Christmas party i guess.

HairsprayBabe · 03/11/2017 13:27

"whale measurement" I am hoping that is a typo lasty!! And I hope you are doing ok Flowers

Just bought a loaf of low GI bread at the farmers market, see how it takes me this weekend....

NamasteNiki · 03/11/2017 13:33

@BOOP those spuds look lush! 😍

IheartCaptainHolt · 03/11/2017 13:49

Can I join please? I’ve been doing SlimmingWorld since June and lost just over 2 stone. Got 2 stone still to go and don’t want to start flagging now I’m half way. If I can get to target by March I’ll be almost 2 stone down on pre pregnancy weight fit when I go back to work.

I’ve been lurking for a few weeks and it seems like a good thread to help keep me on the straight and narrow!

IheartCaptainHolt · 03/11/2017 13:50
  • for not fit
poorpaws · 03/11/2017 13:50

Niki we need to see the dress pleeease (on you of course, not just the dress). I’m so so jealous but very happy for you.

NamasteNiki · 03/11/2017 14:06

@poorpaws ok but you have to wait until later until I go home. Am out and about and gym this evening.

HairsprayBabe · 03/11/2017 14:14

Welcome @IheartCaptainHolt

MIL does some slimming world recipies that I really like, do you go to the group or just follow the plan?

NamasteNiki · 03/11/2017 14:23

This the dress. I used to be exploding out of it every which way. Now the top is too baggy and the bottom fits fine.

Beautiful dress!

jimsdoll · 03/11/2017 14:37

Can I join ye ladies. I've been on steroids for past 7 months and just about finished on them was diagnosed with arthritis earlier in the year. Finally have medication sorted so back exercising past month or so . I'm around the 10st mark ( I'll weigh in tomorrow ) as I am out tonight but would love to be 9st 7 by 1st of Dec have a xmas night out planned. I'd still have another half stone to lose to get back pre illness weight but will be contented with the half stone loss and get toned up.

jimsdoll · 03/11/2017 14:37

Good luck everyone

BitOutOfPractice · 03/11/2017 14:39

Course jims. Glad you're getting sorted and feeling better hopefully

I can't imagine being 9stone. Funny isn't it how much difference height makes to the weight. Well, it's not funny, it's totally logical but hopefully you know what I mean
