Ok so how about...

"We wish you a slender Christmas and not gaining 7lbs."

Sing it to the tune!

BitOutOfPractice · 29/11/2017 12:34

I'm just out of a treadmill class. God it was hard after a HIIT class last night. My knees are literally creaking

I found an old post where I said...

Im sick of being 10st 12. I want ot to drop to 10.5 for a start. Then not so far to 10st then drop under 10st.

Now I'm 9st 8/9.

😊🎉

HappyGowerGirl · 29/11/2017 16:33

Amazing Niki😀 You must have a totally new wardrobe by now!

splatattack · 29/11/2017 17:52

Nicki that is amazing!!! Well done! How far do you want to go? I can't remember your goal weight?

Right now I am 9 st 12 or 13 (I have old scales)...and I am too scared to go to boots in case it puts me up! 😂. Mission for the 17th of Dec is 9 st 7...reckon that is doable? That will have me the slimmest I have been since I was a teenager! Do you think your body just says no sometimes? I feel like it is harder and harder now I have lost a bit...

twinkledag · 29/11/2017 17:58

Hi everyone

My menu today

Porridge and blueberries
Kabuto noodle pot and hula hoops
Xmas get together tonight. Preordered soup, Xmas roast dinner and Xmas pud. Might skip the pud for coffee!
Also had a handful of popcorn.

I’ve had such a busy day at work I’ve just sat at my desk all day!!

I really need to start exercising again!

NamasteNiki · 29/11/2017 18:17

Ive actually reached my goal weight but feel like i should keep going in case of any bounce back at Christmas.

I bought clothes too quickly. I bought 28inch jeans in the summer and they arent skinny tight anymore! They're baggy.

Everything is too big, my pajamas the lot.

TheDonald · 29/11/2017 21:50

I'm struggling with clothes at the moment. I've probably dropped one dress size from a snug 14 to a comfortable 12. I haven't bought any new clothes yet but I had a pair of size 12 skinny jeans that I'd bought by mistake a few months ago. They now fit perfectly so I've been wearing them every day.

I'm going on my works do next week and I'd like a top that fits me. I've just been browsing online but I've realised that I usually pick clothes that disguise my shape. Now I want one that shows it off!

I might need to start a thread in s&b!

splatattack · 29/11/2017 22:10

I love when that happens Donald...but something new, treat yourself and feel great about yourself!! What kind of style are you looking for?

NamasteNiki · 29/11/2017 22:18

Clothes are a whole new experience now.

Is anyone else not used to being the skinny one?

I got comments about it aat my new job, that I was slim. I was like....me?! Then I remembered.

poorpaws · 29/11/2017 22:24

It’s all great news here and well done to everyone.

I was so looking forward to going to Weight Watchers tonight because I felt I’d lost at least 2 pounds this week. I wasn’t able to go because a dog bit my dog this morning and she’s got a huge piece out of her side so I’ve been looking after her all afternoon and night. I think we might have to go to the vets tomorrow. This has sent me into an eating frenzy. I didn’t want to cook so fetched fish and chips and then ate my body weight in chocolate and cupcakes. Feeling very miserable tonight. ☹️ I feel I should have been celebrating and I’m just scared and worried.

NamasteNiki · 29/11/2017 22:28

Don't worry poorpaws. I neglected to mention that I ate a huge hotdog today with a pulled pork topping.

Ive been ill, now have my appetite back and can eat more now my mouth is getting better so I thought #fuckit

TheDonald · 30/11/2017 08:51

How's the dog this morning poor? Sounds very upsetting.

HairsprayBabe · 30/11/2017 09:28

So proud of everyone on this thread well done this month losers!

9.12... I may have eaten Nachos last night, oh well
-5 for the month isn't too bad, focusing on dropping as much as possible before Christmas and un-doing the damage in January!

lastqueenofscotland · 30/11/2017 09:32

To top off a shit month breaking up with my Dp last month I got made redundant yesterday.
Woo.
I'll lose weight now as I dare not spend any money on anything

HairsprayBabe · 30/11/2017 09:35

Oh paws hope you Dog is ok! Flowers

Lasty That is awful, especially this time of year I am so sorry. Flowers

NamasteNiki · 30/11/2017 09:53

lasty omg I am so sorry. Ive been there. I am still there tbh as only doing temp work now. It's shit feeling the rug has gone from under your feet and not being able to afford a thing. Flowers

lastqueenofscotland · 30/11/2017 09:58

My car needs taxing and insuring too Sad

NamasteNiki · 30/11/2017 10:03

Are you able to get contribution based job seekers? You get it for 6 months. Its about £73 a week but better than nothing.

You have to phone to make the claim. It is not based on any income or capital so anyone can get it

lastqueenofscotland · 30/11/2017 10:11

Ooo Niki that's really good to know thank you

TVHubbyClaire · 30/11/2017 10:21

Hi ladies Smile

Nervously got on scales this morning after two dinners out this week with associated wine and gin. At least having salds on both nights seems to have helped as I was still around my usual weight .

12st 7 3/4. I had hoped to be a bit lighter going into December but I probably dont deserve it this month

I totally understand challenges on clothes. I have tops and bottoms that are definitely too big...its obviously fab but frustrating too....Hmm

lasty thats horrid. What is job market like where you are? Lots of people here have been made redundant in last few years but apparently things are picking up a bit. I hope its like that for you. take care Flowers

twinkledag · 30/11/2017 11:24

So sorry to hear that, lasty.

I was really good at my dinner out last night. Yes I had the lush bread with my soup but I only ate one of the roast potatoes with my main and I skipped dessert and had a Baileys latte instead. :)

Today’s menu. Porridge and raspberries, chicken tikka and cauli rice readymeal from M&S, Bolognese and salad for dinner.

KikisDeliveryService · 30/11/2017 11:26

Thanks lasty, crappy crapness, I'm so sorry.

Is anyone else freezing and finding it hard with regards to food? I just want to eat really hot carby things as a result. My planned raw red cabbage and hummus dish is not going to happen (it is delicious but too cold be be at all appealing).

What I need to do is make a big batch of my super-healthy-nutritious soup so I can warm up with that instead of the-- fishfingers and-- chips I've-- just put in the oven-- Confused

I haven't weighed in and suspect I'll finish the month at 2-3 Lindas down if I'm lucky.

KikisDeliveryService · 30/11/2017 11:29

Those who have shrunk out of recently purchased clothes, put them away but don't get rid of them. Totally regretted doing that when I failed to maintain and suddenly had nothing to wear again. I'm sure you'll all do far better than me of course Grin
