Morning all - aiming for 10.7 by the end of the month - so that is 7lbs, as I was back to 11 stone dead this morning. - Have been Dairy Free since Sunday - and so far so good!!

Thanks for the new thread BOOP and welcome newbies!!

FoofFighter · 01/11/2017 10:27

Hi Can I join please?

I'm doing roughly SW plan - but not going to group any more. I'm in a diet group with some FB friends, we have all paid £30 into a kitty and the winner with the highest % of weight lost by 8th Dec wins the lot - I've lost 4lbs this week.

I'd like to have lost at least a stone by then :)

B baked porridge oats, grated apple, berries
L pumpkin and veg soup, 4 dry ryvita to dunk
T bacon omelette muffin things, with mixed veggies.

Softpebbles · 01/11/2017 10:54

Hi Chard - Welcome back :)

That looks a good menu BOOP.

Mines looking like this:

B: Banana and Satsuma
L: HM Lentil Soup, Beetroot Crackers, Philly, Ham
D: Bacon, Beans, Scrambled Egg, Mushrooms

Snack: 2 Jaffa Cakes, Muller Light

I need to keep on top of my snacking its my downfall every time. I work out minimum 3 times a week.

Mimosa1 · 01/11/2017 10:57

Hi everyone, I'm low carbing and aiming to lose 2.5kg in November, which is roughly half a stone I believe. Good luck all.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/11/2017 11:04

Crawling back fatter than I've ever been. I broke up with my DP last month. I love him stupid amounts but I wasn't prepared to have to fit my entire life around his job anymore. I've been comfort eating like nobodies business and I need to sort myself back out. But I feel at the moment like I've lost a limb. I know inneed to start taking care of myself again but it's weirdly hard ha Sad
Need emotional support to stop eating cheese all day every day

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2017 11:16

Oh last I'm so sorry to hear that. Break-up heartache is particularly painful isn't it? You poor soul Thanks

Hi all,

Would love to join in. Am following SW at the moment but also trying to cut out dairy, cut down on gluten and cut down on sugar.

10.9 at the moment. Would love to be 10.3 by the end of November and under 10 by Christmas.

Cakelesswonder · 01/11/2017 12:23

Thanks for the welcome Quim 👋🏼 Weirdly excited to get started. Ask me again in 24 hours...

Nishky · 01/11/2017 12:29

Can I join please?

Very long story, but lost 5 stones between 2012 and 2015, kept it all off for a year and in the last 18 months have regained 2 of them

Have spent the whole of 2017 losing a few pounds, then regaining. Determined to end November later than started it.

Started at 13 12.
Would be happy with 13 8 at the end.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/11/2017 13:11

Boop it's ridiculous. I keep walking into an empty flat after work and bursting into tears and then eating cheese.
I cried when I found some of his leftover curry in the freezer HmmConfused

I need a Brew and then a gentle kick up the backside really

Justabadwife · 01/11/2017 13:17

Can I join? I need ideally to lose about 5 stone. (Obviously not before Xmas 😂😂) but some would be good.
I'm going to a wedding in May and going on holiday in June so I want to look fabulous for both.

I've downloaded an exercise app called lose weight in 30 days. I walk about 3 miles a day, I am going to play on the kinect with dd alot more, and I'm going to drink more water. :)

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 01/11/2017 13:24

Hi BitOOP and others.

I too am sick of fannying around. I'm fitter than I've been in years thanks to a gym membership but I'm still 11st 8. Every time I relax eating slightly it all comes back on.

I am going to lose 5 (minimum) in Nov. Nov is also going to be NoSnackingEmber as this is my downfall.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/11/2017 14:02

Nice to see you back Chardonnay, sounds like you are doing better if you are back running etc? Good to hear. Smile

Glad you are feeling better Quim but sorry to hear things are stressing you out realjudgejudy.

And poor you last - be kind to yourself. Focusing on this might help distract you from feeling sad but watch out in case it becomes something else making you feel miserable, your head might not be in the right place just now. Flowers for you.

I am hungry today but determined to keep away from the Halloween sweets. Had a lovely lunch of salad and scrambled egg, followed by Alpro almond yoghurt.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/11/2017 14:23

Thanks pony

I think I'm not going to focus on losing weight but just looking after myself better. Eating my weight in cheese and toast does not = looking after myself.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2017 14:31

lasty no kicks from me but a big squeeze. Be kind to yourself. Eat nice things that will make you feel healthier (probably not cheese - chuck it out, or booze) and be kind to yourself. I really could weep for you , it's a horrible feeling xxx (don't care if kisses are not the done thing on MN)

I'm with ya's , October was dire for me, especially after doing so well in September Grin
I'm away for four days this weekend and intend to enjoy myself so I'll be starting on Monday with you all Smile really need to crack on and I'd love to shift 5lbs to get to my target of 8.10
WE CAN DO THIS

lastqueenofscotland · 01/11/2017 14:53

Thanks boop it's rubbish!!

Taken a few days off work to meal plan, buy food, tidy my flat, actually exfoliate my face... that sort of thing. Get myself on track again.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/11/2017 14:56

Oh good luck Hairspray!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/11/2017 15:03

That's a good idea lasty. Try a reset sort of thing. Makesure you don't spend it moping though. I spent days wallowing, listening to old songs, getting drunk and phoning Chardonnay friends

TVHubbyClaire · 01/11/2017 17:43

lasty hope things start to brighten up for you over the next few days Flowers

I didnt have an opening weight for October due to our family bereavement. I think I was about the same... hovering around 12st 8

Todays weight was 12st 7 which is pretty low for me at the start of a month..........I would be sooo pleased to get to 12st 4 or below Hmm

Hope interview went well hairspray

NamasteNiki · 01/11/2017 17:58

I am back feeling more zen this month. Namaste! Doing alot of yoga.

I have had a virtuous few days doing stupid amounts of exercise. May have a weigh in tomorrow on the boditrax and see how I've done.

NamasteNiki · 01/11/2017 17:58

lasty FlowersSad

Stitchosaurus · 01/11/2017 18:24

Hello, I'd love to join please!

I'd been doing brilliantly with Jillian Michaels workouts but the diet was utter shite...so lost some inches but the belly fat definitely needs more work - and then I came down with a really nasty cold so I've done no exercise and eaten rubbish for the last few days. Still feeling rough but determined to get back on track once I'm better in a couple of days.

last focusing on looking after yourself is a great plan. One I want to copy really, why on earth do I poison myself with crap food and pretend it's a treat?! Madness. Hope you're ok.
