My starting weight for November is 11st5.5lb. In 2015 I remember feeling sad that my weight had drifted up to 10st5 and here I am more than a stone heavier.

How have I forgotten how to do this? I lost 50lb between 2012-2014. Back then it seemed to just involve 20 minutes running or a fitness video every now and again and eating more mindfully.

Now I do loads of exercise, barely drink alcohol and so I must be significantly over-eating. I don’t want to have to back to logging everything but I guess I must.

I had a period of injury earlier in the year which did not help as I comfort ate and couldn’t exercise at all but the extra weight has firmly stayed in place since then. It’s a little more toned than before but still plenty of extra fat amongst the muscle.

Trying to give myself a kick up the bum but I just feel a bit dejected about it. Ugh the self pity.

FoofFighter · 02/11/2017 11:31

I've found yesterday and today hard, I think it's maybe as the weather has suddenly got cold and I feel the need for stodge.

Was going to do a stirfry for tea, but might switch that for pasta or cottage pie, something a bit more filling.

FoofFighter · 02/11/2017 11:39

forgot to put starting weight yesterday looking back - 15st 6.

ArseyTussle · 02/11/2017 11:57

TieGrr, that’s interesting, I wonder if I could get to lunchtime with no sugary stuff it would make the rest of the day easier.

TieGrr · 02/11/2017 12:10

@Arsey Worth a try. I've noticed it before but yesterday really drove it home because I hadn't been craving sweet things recently.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/11/2017 12:17

I tend to have one sweet thing a day - a freddo or a cookie. But other than that I'm just not bothered. Am I a weirdo?

And it's good to see some old friends

KiKi hello! I feel the same as you. I can't seem to get back in the game properly and back down to my pre-summer low. Having said that, I' having a great week this week...so far. Tracking everything is definitely key - for me anyway

CakeLoving hello! I think cold turkey with the sweet treats is the only way to go sometimes. I'm the same with wine. Can't just have one so best not to open a bottle

Still at lowest ever weight.

Hoping for a loss soon Grin

lastqueenofscotland · 02/11/2017 12:30

I've got an outrageously sweet tooth. I can pass up on breads/crisps/being offered seconds of meals all day. Someone offers me cake... game over

CakeLoving · 02/11/2017 12:38

I think maybe part of it for me is sweet stuff is I see it as a "reward" for a tough day. When I'm on a sugar tip, I literally let that box of chocolates/cake be what gets me through the long day/traumatic double toddler bedtime. I need to shake that off again!!!

Tricycletops · 02/11/2017 12:54

I haven't tried to cut out sugar because I can't be arsed to ditch everything with hidden sugars in it, and at the moment the WW plan is broadly working for me, but I do find that if I avoid explicitly sugary things - cake, chocolate, biscuits - for most of the day it's much easier to stick to the plan. I seem to get a chain reaction where I eat something sweet, then I want something savoury, and then suddenly I've eaten a whole big chocolate bar and four slices of bread!

HairsprayBabe · 02/11/2017 12:57

Loving the name change Niki Will also be channeling zen this month.

Just had broth for lunch and we are having pumpkin falafel for dinner with cauliflower couscous and hummus.

Fatcownow · 02/11/2017 14:23

My xmas do isn't 6 weeks away and I got on the scales this morning as all my clothes are getting rather snug.

I need to lose that stone for my xmas works do to fit into the dress I bought a couple of months back!! I really like the dress so don't partially want to change it. I took a picture of myself in it when I tried it on to show a friend and Iv now put it as my screen saver to try and motivate me!

Today is day 1, il be doing ww old system of pro points on my own as it works for me and I never normally put this much weight on!

Anyway, Hi Smile

I will probably write in here multiple times a day to stop myself eating crap.

Therealjudgejudy · 02/11/2017 17:10

Hi everyone! Back on it today after I had a word with my stressed out self yesterday to sort it out.

Usual breakfast of a pint of water and my various vitamin tablets. Large mixed salad for lunch and dinner is going to be salmon, Brussels sprouts, sweet corn and parsley sauce.

Did a really good gym workout after work this afternoon and just went for a half hour walk with my mum. Much better day than yesterday thank goodness.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/11/2017 18:14

FatCowNow ( I don't like that name!) you are very welcome.

Judy hurrah for better days

I forgot my lunch today and then was so run off my feet I didn't manage to get off to the staff canteen to buy anything, so I didn't eat anything until around 4pm when I crashed and ended up stuffing myself with chocolate digestives, which isn't really ideal.

I have entered it all into my fitness pal though and I'm still coming in at 1200 overall for the day, so I suppose all is not lost. Just annoying and I feel all bleugh now Envy

BitOutOfPractice · 02/11/2017 19:24

Oh that’s galling Spurious Angry

What’s everyone having for dinner? We are having mince and veg pie with tumbled spuds. Mince and tatties basically.
