Anyone fancy a November 30 day shred and 1200 calories?

I’m planning on doing this for November and hopefully shifting some weight and get healthier.
I’ve got other dvds too so might do some Davina or a run/walk if the weather is nice.
I want to eat better and include lots of veg and more water.
Would be good to have other people to chat to about it.

Are these meals ok to do alongside the shread?

This is a typical day;
B- small pot of fage full fat yoghurt and 1 or 2 coffees with full fat milk no sugar.

L- sweet potato and butternut squash soup.

D- bolognese sauce with sweet corn, peas and carrots and 3 tablespoons of quinoa.

Will unrealistically lose 1-2lbs/week if I shread everyday for the next month with this diet. I'm going to try to keep the portions small. Might use my toddlers bowl to eat out of

Papayamum · 05/11/2017 19:55

will I realistically that should say

tiggersdontlikehoney · 06/11/2017 09:09

Right. I have been eating sh*t all weekend, made a huge treacle-infused bonfire cake and ate the majority myself Blush. Going to start again.

30 day shred.. am ordering the DVD.

Looking for an external DVD player that works well with a Mac and doesn't cost the earth.. does anyone have one they can recommend?

titsbumfannythelot · 06/11/2017 13:44

I downloaded from amazon prime, is that an option?

I’ve not managed to fit in as much exercise as I would have liked but did manage to stay on track with the calories and lost 3lb last week.

LiveLifeWithPassion · 06/11/2017 18:22

Well done titsbum! That’s great.
Papaya I think that menu sounds fine.
I’m so embarrassed that I started this thread and haven’t started shred yet. I’ve been running instead as the weather has been nice.
It’s gone colder now, so the shred is going on! I don’t like the cold.
Food has been good.

Playing catch up. Finally got a new DVD player and have done day one of the beginners shred. Without weights as I don’t have any and it only occurred to me after I’d finished that I could have used tins of beans Blush

OublietteBravo · 06/11/2017 20:28

I think I might be coming down with a cold Sad

I still did my DVD this evening: 30DS L1D9.

Silvertap · 06/11/2017 20:40

Get in.
3.25lb loss for me today. Back to 10 st which I haven’t been since our holiday in may. Now I just need to see some figures starting 9...

Went to the gym today and signed up for 1 month as we’re moving house soon and I think I need somewhere to escape to!

Papayamum · 06/11/2017 20:51

3.25lb loss for me today

For the week or the day?

Silvertap · 07/11/2017 06:33

For the week papayamum!
I

wantawaistagain · 07/11/2017 12:38

I'm starting late because it was midterm here last week. I did L1D1 yesterday and L1D2 today. It's mighty tough for a 20 minute workout. I don't plan to do the 30 days in a row but I'd like to get the 30 days done before Christmas taking rest days. I gotten to level 2 a few times before but have never made it to level 3.

Firefries · 07/11/2017 16:20

Still unwell here but I'll do a shred tonight :) and get back into it.

Believeitornot · 07/11/2017 21:47

Did second day of beginner shred. I need to get myself some weights - tinned tomatoes are too light!

LiveLifeWithPassion · 08/11/2017 11:26

Finally! It was too cold to run today so Shred it was.
I’ve been looking at some YouTube shred results. Really inspiring.

Doing really well with my eating here.

Am not really doing the shred but went for a swim last night, will do legs bums and tums tonight and then my gymnastics class tomorrow

DropDeadShred · 08/11/2017 17:28

Too busy at work to eat today, so will be doing L2D5 on 3 cups of coffee and 3 litres of water. Should be interesting Confused I might have a spoonful of peanut butter when I get home just to give myself a bit of a lift, but surprisingly I'm not feeling too bad. Thank God for low carb which kills my appetite.

My legs are still painful with a calf strain which has now radiated right up my leg to the hamstrings, so no high impact for me. Any jumping cardio will be replaced by boxing with weights in a deep squat. Ouch!

OublietteBravo · 08/11/2017 19:06

I had an unplanned rest day yesterday because I wasn't feeling great. Back to shredding today: 30DS L2D10.

I'll be moving on to L2 tomorrow.

DropDeadShred · 08/11/2017 21:21

Did L2D5. Was tough and I really felt the lack of energy, but it was doable. I need to keep a record of this to remind myself in future when I feel I can't possibly do Shred because [insert excuse here]

I actually can't believe I am half way through Level 2 and I've managed to stick to it. It's a difficult week for me this week with work and family commitments, but aiming to do Day 6 tomorrow night, Day 7 on Friday midday, hopefully Day 8 on Saturday morning, then Day 9 next Monday and Day 10 next Wednesday. More disrupted than I would ideally like but real life is sadly getting in the way at the moment.

So this time next week I'll be taking my next progress photos. Really desperate to see a decent change and I think I am more likely to see evidence of change in another week (and then hopefully more change at the end of L3). Anyone else taking progress photos?

wantawaistagain · 09/11/2017 13:07

L1D3 done today-I took a rest day yesterday and it seems easier today. If I did it tomorrow and Sat. I'd feel like I was really making progress.

annaharvey · 09/11/2017 18:29

Fantastic idea! I am gonna join you in this journey. Will update regularly in this thread with my progress.

I think the best way is to start the day with a green tea and go for an outdoor run for 3 kms. Then, back home will eat plenty of fruits. Some Egg whites for protein.

Would not make much changes with the day's food except for removing the sugar and salt from food. Lets see how it works.

Thanks for initiating this thread :)

OublietteBravo · 09/11/2017 19:48

I moved up a level today: 30DS L2D1. I'd forgotten how awful circuit 3 was - especially the chair squats with a v-rise. Ouch.

DropDeadShred · 09/11/2017 21:34

Level 2 Day 6 done and managed to aggravate my calf injury again, just when I thought it was getting better. Bugger it.

Oubliette I feel your pain on the last circuit. I can't decide if I dislike the chair squats with v-rise more, or those military kicks with weights raised up. My shoulders are just screaming at me by the second rep and then when we have to go into plank for the final abs exercise I don't even have the energy to weep. So hardcore.

DropDeadShred · 10/11/2017 14:43

Level 2 Day 7 done. It was really hard but again I did it in a fasted state as did it before lunch and I don't eat breakfast.

I am starting to hate that woman

OublietteBravo · 10/11/2017 19:20

I've just done 30DS L2D2. I'm still hating circuit 3. I think the worst bit is possible when you've survived 2 lots of military press and v-rises, and then you have to go into plank jacks. I'm amazed I do t find myself flat on my face because my arms have given way.

DropDeadShred · 11/11/2017 08:39

Agreed, that's the bit I hate the most. And I'm not sure I'm doing those plank twist things correctly.

There will be no shredding for me today. Hungover after a dinner out and drinking for the first time in 5 weeks. It doesn't hurt as much as military arm presses but it's close. So may be tomorrow night or more likely back to it on Monday.
