Hi everyone, here we are with out 4th thread.
I really can't believe just how well everyone is doing.

Joash 12lb loss in 6 days. That's fantastic. I'm like you, i also have a cheese weakness!!!

hercules1 8lb loss in 6 days. Brilliant.
You don't have to wait until you reach goal before you eat food again.
There are lots of food plans to choose from.
Have you tried FIBRE 89? helps you if you do get constipated.

catsmother I cannot believe that you've lost another 5.5lbs this week.
You are an inspiration to all of us.

gtimama 1st 1lb in 2 weeks is a great loss.

michaelad How are you getting on with day 4?
You can have the berry powder in the first week.
Theres also an orange powder as well. I didn't like this as much!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy How fantastic must you feel losing 22lb in a week?
That has to be the most i've ever heard of.
Well done you.

Sorry that i've not mentioned everyone, but i'd be here all day if i did that.

I've been doing this diet for 13 weeks now and have lost 38lbs and 1/4 oz.
My next weigh in is on wed as my CDC has been away on hol.

Have tried to be good, but also caved in a few times with the kids easter eggs!!!!

bendigo how can you not eat for that long?

I have fruit and veg most days now as my kids were getting upset that i never ate with them!
Not that they're my excuse!
I'm also on medication and need some food.
CDC said it'd result in a slower weight loss but that i have to be happy with what i'm doing.

I've still lost 43lb.

michaelad you've had a good loss in a short amount of time. well done.

joash do you notice a big difference with your asthma?
I know i do.

misdee welcome and good luck to you. We'll all be here to support you.

I will finish the 100days around the 27th July. So will be slimmer and fitter during the school holidays. My kids wont know whats hit them lol.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 17/04/2007 14:40

afternoon all and welcome missdee to our happy band lol

I had my 3rd weigh in a day early yesterday and I have lost another 6lbs so 27 in three weeks

Keep it up everyone think of those size 12s or 14s in my case!

ShrinkingViolet · 17/04/2007 16:18

does anyone else find the mid-afternoon the hardest time of day? I'm good all morning refilling my water glass as soon as it empties, but by 3pm i'm just so fed up, and reach for the biscuit box . What works for everyone else?

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 17/04/2007 16:33

Thank goodness during the week I am at work and this lot would shot me if I even thought about cheating the only thing that does it for me is the ready made shakes they make me hungry and at the weekend I gave in but still lost 6 lbs this week

catsmother · 17/04/2007 21:45

Well, what's that old saying about pride coming before a fall ?

Yes ..... I got my come-uppance for all my recent boasting today. Weigh-in and I've put on 3lbs ... hardly surprising after my recent bingeing.

Oh well - in the greater scheme of things it's not a hanging offence. I now have 6.5lbs to target instead of 3.5 !!!

Am kicking myself a bit because I know I could (and should) have lost that 6.5 in the 2 weeks since my last weigh-in. However, think my complacency (and I have to admit, a bit of a celebratory treat) shows how important it'll be to go through maintenance properly, step by step, re-introducing food groups sensibly and gradually building up your calorie intake, so you don't go a bit mad (like I did) when you hit goal (or very near it).

The good news is that my size 8s & 10s still fit though !

bendigoblue · 18/04/2007 10:20

Awwww Catsmother, I bet most of it was water through eating normally again though, you'll shift it in no time!

Well, despite my chocolate binging and general crapness over the last 2 weeks, I still managed to lose 6lbs so that's not too bad after all. And the best news is, that that 6 lbs takes me to a grand total of 5 Stone 1 lb Only 3 stone 6 lbs to goal now. Hoorah! I could have that done by mid July if I stop messing about.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 18/04/2007 10:34

bendigoblue how long did it take you to lose all that oh and a very well done!

Catsmother nearly there one last push and you could do this!

bendigoblue · 18/04/2007 10:40

I started Cambridge on the 10th January, but i'd lost 7 lbs before that doing Slimfast. So Cambridge has taken me 3 months to lose 4 stone 8 lbs. I can live with that!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 18/04/2007 10:41

That is amazing have you stuck to it the whole time?

bendigoblue · 18/04/2007 11:07

I had done, up until about a week ago when I went totally off the rails and picked at everything in sight. I'm now back on the SS wagon and haven't picked since sunday lol.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 18/04/2007 11:16

you have a mazing willpower i cheated on Saturday and am only in week three but I havent cheated since so hopefully ok! but I must say I felt so crap after cheating its a good deterant to do it again!

bendigoblue · 18/04/2007 11:21

I'm finding it harder and harder not to think 'oh f&*k it' and eat, think it's because i've been doing it so long i'm bored!

luciemule · 18/04/2007 16:34

Well - went to weigh in today and over the last 2 weeks, have lost 5lbs, which I guess is good but that's only 2.5 a week (or perhaps it's in a day as yesterday I was actually in ketosis all day and didn't cheat!) However, I'm looking quite good now in clothes and feel so much more confident so even though I only lost 3cms (2 off bust again and 1 from each thigh) for me it's about feeling comfortable in clothes and being able to find jeans that fit on the waist and thighs.

michaelad · 18/04/2007 17:08

Hi Lucie, is he back?? What did he say when he saw the all new you??

misdee · 18/04/2007 17:15

well i picked up my stuff today. am one and a half shakes through as have been out all day. not feeling hungrey though, bit headachey but thats an on going thing anyway, lack of sleep i think.

misdee · 18/04/2007 18:18

my dh is being an arse 'i hope you lose 3 stone by next week' wtf? 'july is ages away' so much for beign supportive, he is just treating it as a joke.

michaelad · 18/04/2007 18:48

Oh Misdee..don't listen to it! It's rubbish! It would be lovely if he was supportive but in the end you should be doing it for yourself and no one else anyway. My dh is still somewhat sceptical too but his scepticism is more about the long term success of it..and I can even see his point a bit.

misdee · 18/04/2007 18:50

its just the way he is, he is like thi about everything. i have told him its serious, and i cant be dealign with stupid comments about it. i also know that it partly down to this major change today and i am being grouchey.

michaelad · 18/04/2007 18:54

Good point..the grouchyness and the headaches will stay for a couple of days, I'm afraid. I also felt quite cold and nauseous to start with (probably for first 3-4 days) but I'm fine now.

screaminghabdabs · 18/04/2007 19:37

Hello! Can I join this thread too please?

I'm on day 5 of SS and have lost 10lbs already which I'm really chuffed about but have a hell of a long way to go.... Been lurking for a while so thought it about time I introduce myself.

It's been great to read so many encouraging posts which have given me the push to get started, so thank you!

michaelad · 18/04/2007 19:42

Welcome! 10 lbs in 5 days!! Well done you!!

misdee · 18/04/2007 20:00

this chicken and mushroom soup is foul.

screaminghabdabs · 18/04/2007 20:02

Brocolli and cheese is also repulsive! I gagged on it and had to tip it away. Think I'm going to steer clear of soups....

misdee · 18/04/2007 20:05

had added a good dose of pepper to it, its not so bad now.
