Hi everyone, here we are with out 4th thread.
I really can't believe just how well everyone is doing.

Joash 12lb loss in 6 days. That's fantastic. I'm like you, i also have a cheese weakness!!!

hercules1 8lb loss in 6 days. Brilliant.
You don't have to wait until you reach goal before you eat food again.
There are lots of food plans to choose from.
Have you tried FIBRE 89? helps you if you do get constipated.

catsmother I cannot believe that you've lost another 5.5lbs this week.
You are an inspiration to all of us.

gtimama 1st 1lb in 2 weeks is a great loss.

michaelad How are you getting on with day 4?
You can have the berry powder in the first week.
Theres also an orange powder as well. I didn't like this as much!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy How fantastic must you feel losing 22lb in a week?
That has to be the most i've ever heard of.
Well done you.

Sorry that i've not mentioned everyone, but i'd be here all day if i did that.

I've been doing this diet for 13 weeks now and have lost 38lbs and 1/4 oz.
My next weigh in is on wed as my CDC has been away on hol.

Have tried to be good, but also caved in a few times with the kids easter eggs!!!!

have given up on that one.

off to see what i can drink now.

screaminghabdabs · 18/04/2007 20:34

Oooh, how about some nice water??

I'm wee-ing for England at the moment and feeling really cold. I've got one more meal due tonight and unfortunately it has to be soup as I've been avoiding them so I've run out of shakes. Can't face vegetable for breakfast [hurls]

bendigoblue · 18/04/2007 20:49

Lol. I love the soups, I got all soups this week as i'm soooooooo cold.

fussymummy · 18/04/2007 23:07

Soups are disgusting!!!!
I mean really, really awful!!
I tried them and felt so sick.

misdee when your husband sees you losing weight quickly he'll be shocked.

For some reason i don't think my partner wants me to achieve this weight loss.

If i have a bad couple of days, he starts saying, "i knew you wouldn't be able to stick with it for long!!"
"You're never going to lose all the weight"

With comments like that i think the biggest lot of weight i could lose is to kick him out the door!!!!

catsmother and bendigoblue you have both done so well and you're both nearly at your target weights, you must be feeling so proud of yourselves?

Don't think we'll be hearing much from lucie for a few days!!!
Seeing as her husbands back after a time in Afghan!!!

Screaminghabdabs Welcome and well done on your loss so far.

Morning everyone,
misdee, the only soup that I have now is Spicy tomato..hated all the other ones with a vengeance too.
Still struggling a bit a the moment. Those bars make me hungry!! But having the berry flavour to add to water is a vast improvement. Even though it is very sweet and I only use a tiny bit per glass.
fussy maybe your dh is just scared of all the attention you're going to get once you've lost it??!!

Really happy for Lucie..she must be over the moon!

michaelad · 19/04/2007 08:46

speaking of lucie, is it just me or does she look like Sarah Jessica Parker in the photo on her page?

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 19/04/2007 09:30

Morning lol she does a bit its a lovely picture!

michaelad · 19/04/2007 09:33

Tlsm, that it is!

luciemule · 19/04/2007 17:10

Hi Guys - thanks for compliment Michaelad - but if only I really looked like her! I have had that comment before but they probably didn't notice my thighs!
My DH isn't back until next Tuesday so you got the wrong week! I'm building it all up a bit too much I think - he'll probably get get home tired and just slob and want to watch rubbish on TV. My DD came up with the idea of wrapping his b'day pressies in xmas paper and putting the christmas back up to decorate as he missed out on xmas this year. So that's what we're doing this sunday!

michaelad · 19/04/2007 17:32

Haven't really paid a great deal of attention to SJP's thighs so far..so I could easily still mistake you for her

The Christmas idea is just sooo sweet...awww..

bendigoblue · 20/04/2007 09:34

I am so fed up of being cold!!! Anyone want to move to the Sahara with me?

michaelad · 20/04/2007 10:28

Sahara would be the other extreme..and I get sunburn in no time flat. Very lightskinned..
But I had the same problem yesterday. Nice and very sunny here and I was standing at the bus stop with goosebumps

luciemule · 20/04/2007 11:44

Hello - are any of you drinking red bush tea? I really like it although it seems to make me feel more dehydrated even though it's caffeine (sp) free?

luciemule · 20/04/2007 11:51

Michaelad - can't remeber when you said you were going to do test. Have you done it yet?

michaelad · 20/04/2007 12:43

Hi Lucie, no need to do the test anymore, period started this morning . Now I can stop worrying (and eating forbidden things) and concentrate on the diet again. I drink redbush tea from time to time. Really lovely, doesn't make me dehydrated.
So, what was hubby's reaction then?

michaelad · 20/04/2007 13:41

it's next Tuesday... I keep forgetting... maybe this diet's affecting my brain!

luciemule · 20/04/2007 13:50

Micahelad - was thinking -if period was late, could have been the diet prolonging your cycle. Mine was later than usual and if you think about it people suffering with anorexia don't often have periods. Perhaps it shocked your body and made you late.
My counsellor also said you can lose hair (or the usual amount falls out but no new hair grows in its place so you can get patches). Thank goodness I haven't had that and my hair was awful before due to BF!

bendigoblue · 20/04/2007 17:05

My periods went squiffy when I started too.

I've had a mirena fitted since and I have no idea if it's that that's messing them up or the diet still. Probably a bit of both.

Has anyone elses head not caught up with their body yet? I'm into size 16 trousers now from having been a 24 and I caught sight of myself in the mirror yesterday in Borders loos and I had to do a double take. It was a different me and I hadn't noticed before, I still think of myself as being really huge. Weird.

michaelad · 20/04/2007 18:20

With the "measly" 11 lbs I have lost so far, there isn't much of a difference yet. I have dropped a dress size and generally feel better about myself but one day, one day that will hopefully happen to me to, Bendigo .

screaminghabdabs · 20/04/2007 18:59

Bendigoblue, that's an amazing loss! That's where I want to be!
BTW can anyone explain why I'm always so cold? I had a big jumper on today AND the heating. Forgot to ask my CDC when I saw her.....

bendigoblue · 20/04/2007 20:32

Ahhh welcome to the ketosis shivers screaminghabdabs, I have no idea why ketosis makes you so cold, but everyone who's in it is generally freezing. I keep having to have hot baths in the afternoon before I turn to ice!

luciemule · 20/04/2007 21:04

I think the shivers/freezingness thing is because when you're body goes into starvation mode (which is basically what it's doing in the soul source plan) the energy you do have goes to your organs so I guess there's not that much left to heat you. Food is fuel and it makes us warm so a lot less food=cold. I think that's about right.
Bendiog - know what you mean about not mentally thinking what you look like - I was trying on outfits tonight and even though all 14's are hanging around my waist, I'm still thinking I look big. My friend's DH commented on how much I'd lost today (she was there too!) but I just denied it and felt completely embarassed. It's going to take a while I think to admit the loss has changed my appearence 'cause at the moment, I still think I look big.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 21/04/2007 09:30

Right well I am really pissed I have been finding it very hard not to cheat in the evenings having a mouthful or two of my DH food as I make it so I thought yesterday I would start AAm week a few days early so I started last night (should have started on Monday) abyway I got on the scales this morning and I have put on three pounds for a hand full of qourn and mushrooms whats that all about!!!

Oh and by the way Michaelad I am just going to put some more of Max's summer clothes on to the sales thread - Found another load I had put in the loft that are now too small

misdee · 21/04/2007 09:32

didnt think quorn and mushrooms were in the AAM week but on the 790 plan.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 21/04/2007 09:37
