Hi everyone, here we are with out 4th thread.
I really can't believe just how well everyone is doing.

Joash 12lb loss in 6 days. That's fantastic. I'm like you, i also have a cheese weakness!!!

hercules1 8lb loss in 6 days. Brilliant.
You don't have to wait until you reach goal before you eat food again.
There are lots of food plans to choose from.
Have you tried FIBRE 89? helps you if you do get constipated.

catsmother I cannot believe that you've lost another 5.5lbs this week.
You are an inspiration to all of us.

gtimama 1st 1lb in 2 weeks is a great loss.

michaelad How are you getting on with day 4?
You can have the berry powder in the first week.
Theres also an orange powder as well. I didn't like this as much!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy How fantastic must you feel losing 22lb in a week?
That has to be the most i've ever heard of.
Well done you.

Sorry that i've not mentioned everyone, but i'd be here all day if i did that.

I've been doing this diet for 13 weeks now and have lost 38lbs and 1/4 oz.
My next weigh in is on wed as my CDC has been away on hol.

Have tried to be good, but also caved in a few times with the kids easter eggs!!!!

good for you spookymummy - day 5 and you've stuck to it so it means that'll it can only get easier from now on. If you've managed 5 days without cheating that's brill and you'll love it when you get weighed.

SpookyMadMummy · 18/05/2007 18:07

Thank you luciemule. Its a hard effort, but I am determined. I have to stop the weight gain rot somewhere. My dh is very proud of me for even starting the diet!

SpookyMadMummy · 20/05/2007 17:02

OMG
Had my weigh in....
I have lost
9 POUNDS!!!
Thats more than I have lost in a year!
Roll on next week!!!

michaelad · 20/05/2007 19:51

Hi everyone, back from hols in Germany and have to admit that I did not do CD at all! Food was just too nice so I reckon I have put on about 5 lbs . Was to be expected though..back on SS tomorrow, don't think I will have a weigh in this week..would be too depressing

luciemule · 20/05/2007 22:00

well done spookymummy - 9lbs is amazing!
You must be so proud of yourself.
Hi Michaelad - sounds like you had a good break in Germany - who could blame you not doing CD last week with all of that lovely food.

luciemule · 22/05/2007 22:08

blimey - it's been a bit quiet on this thread for a few days - how's everyone doing?

fussymummy · 23/05/2007 10:09

Hi everyone, not been on for a while as i've been ill again!
I put on 6lb at my weigh in last week (that was over 2 weeks of being ill and lots of comfort eating!!)
This week i managed to lose 3lb so i was pleased with that.
Still not feeling right. Asthma, hayfever and chest infection!!!!
How are you all?

OP posts:
Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 23/05/2007 10:52

Hi All, well i was taken into hospital on friday i felt like i was in labour (i wish) in fact I had a kidney stone so with a but of morthin and a lot of pain I had to pass it.... Nice!!!

Anyway the Doctor has recommended that I come off the diet until i see a specialist as he thinks that the diet caused it!

so I have come off the diet and will be joining weight watches tonight also we have decided that I am going to try for a second baby so will not be getting back on the diet so just wanted to wish you all well and good luck with your diets it does work I have now lost 4 stone in 8 weeks !

Love Cate xxx

luciemule · 23/05/2007 13:11

Hi Fussymummy - poor you being ill again. Don't worry about putting a bit. Some people's weight fluctuates daily by 2/3 lbs so tbh, 6lbs isn't that much to put on and you were ill.
TheLittle SoldiersMummy - poor you too. God - passing a kidney stone - I can't imagine but it put me right off doing this diet if that's gonna happen!
It's also lovely that you're planning baby number 2 - hope it all goes well for you. Lucie.

fussymummy · 23/05/2007 13:28

TLSM 4 stone in 8 weeks is absolutely amazing.
You must feel brilliant.
Good luck on the baby.
Make sure you come back and let us know how you get on with WW. GOOD LUCK!
How can the diet have cause you to pass a kidney stone?
Or is it just that the doc wants something to blame it on?

Lucie Hi, i'm not worried about putting on, more importantly i want to get well again, (been 3 weeks now, being ill).
As soon as i'm well i can start losing again, i hope!!!!

OP posts:
michaelad · 23/05/2007 19:50

Hi everyone!
TLSM, sorry to hear about the stone..that must have been agony. WW works..so don't worry about it..and all available fingers and toes crossed for the second baby. Let us know how you're doing!!

Fussy, hope you're better soon too! I put on 5 lbs while I was in Germany and pretty much lost it all again within 4 days.. Main thing is that you get well again!
Lucie, hope you're doing ok too..I keep thinking about that shop idea of yours ..oh, if only I had the money to do something similar

luciemule · 23/05/2007 20:53

Hi Michaelad - I'm going to tell you how dappy I've been! When I first read your name I pronounced it Michael....Ad and I've only just realised that it's Michaela..D - I bet your laughing now!
Anyway - went to weigh in tonight and had stayed the same but lost 3 1/2inches so not too bad. I was supposed to start the 1000cals thing this week but decided to do 790 on and off as I really want to lose it quickly now and just finish this bloomin' diet!
That was great you losing so much again so quickly - I bet you'd only gained water really. Been feeling sad about the shop thing - will chat to DH when he gets back as I think the German wooden toy/decorations thing could be such a go-er. I still have Jako-O. There's nothing really like it over here so I'm glad they deliver - stuff quite pricey though. Do you know any other companies who deliver to the UK?

misdee · 23/05/2007 21:02

i bought a size 18top today!! six weeks ago i was a size 22. lol. gone to a 20 on my bottom half, cant wait for that to shrink as well!

UndomesticGoddess · 23/05/2007 21:09

I think I am retaining water this week, so am not too hopeful for a loss, hey ho... at least last week was a good one.
(it's Spooky btw)

michaelad · 23/05/2007 21:24

Lucie, don't worry about the name..lots of people have difficulties pronouncing never mind writing it! I quite like "Holztoys". Website's www.holztoys.co.uk/. Yes, glad I've lost the weight again but I have to admit that I've gotten somewhat slack about the diet at the moment and although I'm still losing weight, I don't seem to lose inches. Must get the willpower from somewhere to completely get back on the wagon again. Still have so much to lose!!

UndomesticGoddess · 27/05/2007 17:53

Week 2 weigh in today!
another 5 pounds, so a stone in total!!!!!!!

snowwonder · 27/05/2007 17:59

how much have you got to loose?

i look at this thread all the time and so wish i could do it - wish i has the will power?

i woudl love to lose 3 stone and look at how quickly you all lose and wish i could do it..

UndomesticGoddess · 27/05/2007 18:13

Hiya
I have at least another 2 wtone to lose, thats my initial target anyway. I may extend it and try to lose another one or two stones though.
It is a hard diet, you have to break the habits of picking and eating what you want, but I have been doing it for only 2 weeks and can see the rewards.
here is a forum with lots of inspiring stories on it.. Minimins.com

fussymummy · 30/05/2007 00:36

Hi everyone, can't believe how quiet this thread has become!!

Lots of us seem to need motivating again.
I know i need it!!

UndomesticGoddess feels great doesn't it when you can lose a stone in 2 weeks?
Well done.

Snowwonder Go on, take the plunge and join us all.
You won't regret it, and you'll get lots of support on here as well.

I have my weigh in tomorrow and not looking forward to it.
Not been sticking to the diet for the last few weeks as i've been ill.
Now that i have kids home on half term theres more crisps and chocolate in the house!!!

OP posts:
UndomesticGoddess · 30/05/2007 09:39

I am finding half term hard too, but I go and do something else and stay out of the room where the children and DH are eating, its done wonders for my housework!!!!

snowwonder · 30/05/2007 15:26

i so want to take the plunge!!!!

i always read this thread aand i am so envious of the ammount you all lose,

it is my bday next wednesday do i wait till after then or is that just another excuse!!!!

UndomesticGoddess · 30/05/2007 17:05

Go for it! its worth it in the end... hard work at first, but worth it to see the result!!

luciemule · 30/05/2007 20:51

Hello everyone - seems like ages since I posted but DD had to go into hospital last Friday for an infection in hip so spent weekend there with her. Therefore couldn't really have shakes and I started eating cereal for brekkie, and having a small tea. Weighed tonight and put on a pound.
So decided to put myself back onto SS completely until next week or the week after. Then once I'm nearly at 10stone, hopefully I'll be good as I'll want to stick there!
Michaelad - how are you doing?
Fussymummy - it's amazing to me that even a little wobble in my life - eg DH coming back from OP tour, DD in hospital, me losing weight etc - actually makes me eat as I'm either stressed, happy or sad. Doesn't bode very well for post-CDiet does it?!

misdee · 30/05/2007 20:55

i lost 3lb this week

michaelad · 31/05/2007 09:15

Lucie, sorry to hear about lo. Hope she's better now. Well, am scraping by..have had another CD unfriendly weekend with my ex being over from France and am trying to get back on SS. Hopefully will have lost a couple of pounds come my next weigh in on Tuesday. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to be strict about this diet and am paying for it by losing weight very slowly. But I guess as long as I am still overall losing..that's all that should matter.
Have exactly the same problem about eating whenever stressed, happy or sad as you. And yes, I believe that unless I find a new way to deal with this longterm, it might well be my personal downfall post CD. We should really arrange to meet up at some point!! Have pretty much decided on stopping around my birthday (end of October) regardless of my weight then.
