With 15 weeks untill the beginning of December I'm aiming to lose 1 pound a week. First weigh in tomorrow - anyone want to join me?

WildIrishRose1 · 16/09/2017 23:42

BUT by Christmas there won't be a sausage or muffin in sight!Grin

wantawaistagain · 17/09/2017 10:08

OFFICIAL weigh-in: SW 144lb GW 133lb Loss this week 1lb Total loss 4lb.
That means I'm exactly 10 stone. I'm off for a walk now because I would love to be 9st something for a change.

jd88123 · 17/09/2017 10:42

OFFICIAL weigh in 2lbs off again this week. Feel like I shouldnt have as have eaten two muffins this week! And not the healthy type. I have been on the go a lot at work though. Well done everyone.

HLBug · 18/09/2017 08:20

Monday Motivation!! Christmas Day is exactly 14 weeks today Shock so a steady pound a week loss from now on will equal a nice big 1 stone lost. We can do this!

starlight36 · 18/09/2017 09:20

Nooo - weighed myself and back to the starting weight of 11st3. Boo. Off for a brisk walk!

ARichVernacular · 18/09/2017 10:31

NSV! The trousers I bought at the start of the summer, which I couldn't get into at the end of the summer, now fit me again :)

WildIrishRose1 · 18/09/2017 11:04

If you lost weight this week, yay, if not, the week is done now, and a shiny new one awaits... Have a good one, everybody!

ARichVernacular · 19/09/2017 08:48

OFFICIAL WEIGH IN: 10st 11, so another lb down :)

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 19/09/2017 10:14

caremummy · 20/09/2017 22:56

I need to join
Just had a binge eat
Luckily uni life is making me poor so it was ltd
would like to lose avg of 2lbs per week
Target = 9st 7 lbs

OliviaD68 · 20/09/2017 23:12

2 lbs a week is a lot. Need huge discipline and know what you’re doing to achieve that. It’s possible though.

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 21/09/2017 11:36

I'm getting really fed up! I'm being really good and yet I'm stuck between the same 3lbs, I seems to go up and down between them. That elusive 140 bracket seems to be out of my reach for some reason, I'm only on 1160 calls a day which was what my TDEE calculator said would make me lose 1lb a week so I can't reduce it anymore!
I am going to continue regardless though because the alternative is to just go off diet and end up putting the 10 lbs back on which I don't want.
I have been doing the 30 day plank challenge so my stomach muscles are sore! Rest day tomorrow.

OliviaD68 · 21/09/2017 12:52

@TitsalinaBumSqoosh: I think you're going about this the wrong way. Calories ain't it. In fact, it might be counterproductive. All calories are not created equal bc the body metabolises food and drink in different ways. So a calorie from a can of Coke or pasta will be treated differently from a calorie from a steak.

Happy to help if you're interested.

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 21/09/2017 13:21

I'm getting my calories from fruit/veg/lean meats and natural yogurt and eggs and a small amount of carbs such as lentils, whole grain rice etc, thanks for the offer though.

ARichVernacular · 24/09/2017 07:57

How are we all doing? Don't think I'll be losing this week, lol - PMT and frankly a lack of willpower has seen more bread, snacking etc than I would like creep in. But smaller amounts than before, on the whole, e.g. we got a curry on Thursday and I didn't eat till I felt sick, just till I was full.

Have also only drunk booze one night out of seven for the past two weeks, just cos I haven't wanted any. Am aiming for mindfulness at this stage so a small victory there.

jd88123 · 24/09/2017 13:34

Hey not such a good week. DH away offshore and been comfort eating. Oops. Still down a pound but not as good as I could have been. Back on the juice plus this week though. Also time of month again. Its gone a bit quiet on here. Is everyone still on the " wanna be thinner for christmas" thought train?

honeyandginger48 · 24/09/2017 17:02

I did a weigh in yesterday..... no change. But no real surprise as I've had a glass of wine (or two....) after work all week and have eaten out a few times recently. Will be stricter next week.😊 Well done to all those who have stuck with it this week.

WildIrishRose1 · 25/09/2017 00:08

No weigh in this week, as I've been on a weekend which featured Gin; too ashamed to bother the scales! Back on track tomorrow, though.

starlight36 · 25/09/2017 08:14

Still 11st 3 so same as last week. I guess it is positive I've maintained but am a bit frustrated not to lose any.

HLBug · 25/09/2017 11:05

I'm down to 11st 7lb which I was really happy with (was 12st 12lb in July) ...until last night when I saw some pictures of me from an event this weekend. I'm still massive compared to those standing beside me Sad so I'm definitely motivated to keep going.

wantawaistagain · 25/09/2017 13:45

I'm not weighing in this week. We were away for a few day and I just ate all around me. It'll take me a week to recover. 3 months exactly now until Christmas. I've let the whole of Sept slip by without even thinking about looking for a pilates class.

NaughtyElephants · 25/09/2017 19:41

Not been around in a while, checked in with an update this morn and the blimmin post never got posted. Grr!

Anyway, well done to everyone - even those without loss because retaining or re finding motivation is hard. And I know lots of you have plenty to deal with right now so finding time to focus on our own we'll being is often tough.

I'm static at my 4lb loss, but I've effectively lost that amount twice after a bad couple of weeks. Just call me Bridget jones Blush

But I've now given myself a shake up and have started to focus on building muscle instead of purely on cardio and am also cutting back sugar I.e my calorie allowance is used on healthier choices not just eating sparsely in order to have a choccy bar with my cals. And I think it's working! So I'm still gunning for the stone by xmas. Here's wishing success to all of us.

ARichVernacular · 26/09/2017 07:12

OFFICIAL WEIGH IN: 10st 10, so another lb off despite bread, cake and booze Confused I'll take that! Must up the exercise again though.
