With 15 weeks untill the beginning of December I'm aiming to lose 1 pound a week. First weigh in tomorrow - anyone want to join me?

Fucking hell. 11st 2.2 Shock Blush Sad That's motivational! I'm so embarrassed.

Yesterday's food: overnight oats with apple, blueberries, a spoonful of Greek yoghurt and seeds; smoked mackerel salad and a tangerine; banana for snack; beanburger, potatoes and green beans for tea.

Today's food: same breakfast; carrot and chard soup with a sandwich thin; a few melon chunks; spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce.

My work has a terrible cake culture, I'm determined not to get sucked in again.

theancientmarinader · 06/09/2017 05:20

I'll be weighing tomorrow instead of yesterday! Spent the long weekend dropping dd1 off at uni for the first time and got back super late last night. Totally forgot to weigh this morning as I was desperately trying to get everyone out the door to school without the benefit of the big sister, and me to work Grin
Ah, routine begins!!
Will catch up on the thread with a nice cup of tea!

Wishfulmakeupping · 06/09/2017 07:30

Dosey I've found the holidays really tough and been snacking lots more and walking less so I'm hoping being back in a routine will help me get my weight off

jd88123 · 06/09/2017 08:48

Done my measurements last night amd 6inches off altogether woohoo. My hubby made healtht bananna ans blueberry gluten free muffins last night (coeliac) which were a yummy treat. Non official weigh in of another 1lb off yay. Been strength training at the gym with hubby too which really helps motivate me. Feeling goodGrin

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 06/09/2017 18:50

Struggling again today, I'm exhausted and hungry! Calories gone though so I'll distract myself by writing.

theancientmarinader · 06/09/2017 19:24

No change on my weigh in this week. Not disappointed (am quite pleased) as we were away for four days and I did not stay on the wagon at all. So presumably the three days before would have mitigated and I should get a loss next week, now we are in routine.
Got gp results from all my tests today and everything is completely fine, except for my blood pressure. So I have to do a 24hour monitor thing to get some more info and see what's happening. He wasn't even that worried about my weight - he said if I can get some off, that would be great, but no big deal really. It hasn been pretty stable for five or six years. My cholesterol is all fine, and no indications of anything else. So I have to monitor my own BP a couple of times a day and wait for the referral for the 24hr test to come through.
I'm currently roasting butternut squash to make salads more interesting for the rest of the week. Grin

So pleased, in fact, I appear to have posted twice...

AIMGA · 06/09/2017 20:28

Well done ancient maintaining is always good, especially when having a few not so healthy days Grin

That all sounds good theancientmarinader :) I love butternut squash.

Titsalina you are doing amazingly. I have willpower envy!

Feeling a bit fed up - got halfway through level 1 of the 30 Day Shred and my back gave in. It's hard to burn fat when you can't do any high impact exercise. Still, I have done lots of walking today and I did an evil Ballet Beautiful abs workout in place of the Shred.

Dodged today's workplace cake today :)

Sparrowlegs248 · 06/09/2017 21:27

Good evening all, I'm away on a caravan holiday and lacking Internet. Just checking in to say I'm.am being reasonably good. Good breakfasts, having a healthy option for lunch or dinner, and a less healthy option for the other meal. Only had one dessert so far! No ice cream (it's really not warm.....) and one tea and cake. So while that might sound bad, it's way better than it could have been!

Sparrowlegs248 · 06/09/2017 21:28

Oh and 18,000 steps today. I feel sure about 12,000 of them were carrying either the massive baby or toddler.

Sierra259 · 06/09/2017 22:03

Evening everyone! Good breakfast and lunch today with no snacks. Indian takeaway for dinner but that was our once a month treat. Have done 12000 steps so that should offset some of it!

36plusandtrying · 06/09/2017 22:53

Wow ! Everyone is doing really well ! I've stopped having a pity party about the fact I've not lost weight as can see my shape changing. Does muscle really weigh more than fat ? ....

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 07/09/2017 07:42

No writing took place last night, I crashed on the sofa and stayed there until the morning. Fingers crossed we'll be bringing DS home from hospital today so things will be a bit easier. Smile

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 07/09/2017 09:16

I just had the most comforting and delicious baked Apple for breakfast. I really didn't fancy the usual eggs or toast so I sprinkled an apple with cinnamon and 1tsp of sugar and cooked it in the microwave and then added 100g of Yeo Valley apple yoghurt, it was 210 cals (including my normal morning coffee) and it felt like a great big warm hug of comfort food.

No idea what will be for dinner, I prepped a chicken dish in the slow cooker yesterday morning and then forgot to plug it in! Then I plugged it in in the afternoon thinking I'd turn it off before bed and we'd have it for dinner today but it ended up being on all night and is not a cremated mess stuck to the bottom of the dish. Brain fog is awful when I'm tired. Something quick and easy tonight I think!

AIMGA · 07/09/2017 10:17

Good luck for your son tits. I have scuppered so many meals in the slow cooker that I have given up!

I'm still fasting from 8pm - 12noon. And now cutting out dairy 100% as DS (breastfeeding & dairy intolerant) isn't coping even with the small amount I'm having. This should help re: weight as no sneaky cheese added to meals and no milk in my coffee and tea!

Quite a good day yesterday, DH is away and I'm feeling stressed....but i just keep repeating my new mantra..."food will not help...food will not help..."

I have weighed and lost a pound in the last week, which I am pleased with. I find it much easier to lose the weight slowly as I don't have to be so strict with myself.

Can I join?? Off to Oz on the 15th December and want to lose at least pound a week by then. Beach body and all that 😣

TitsalinaBumSqoosh · 08/09/2017 09:45

I am SO hungry! I think it's the implant because I heard it increases appetite which is why people put on weight with it.
It's like a constant empty type discomfort in my stomach. Sad
I've been slipping into the 'just one won't matter' trap this last 2 days which I need to stop right away. Just 1 lick of Nutella and 1 biscuit isn't going to hurt mentality is not going to show well on the scales on Monday!

I'm trying to find low calorie meals that are filling.
Today I've had a mushroom and cooked new potato frittata in a hope the eggs and potatoes would fill me up. They haven't but I live in hope I'll stumble across the perfect filling meal that's under 300 cals!
