Niki that is amazing! Well done!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 03/08/2017 13:06

I'm not going off plan on holiday but ok the scales can stay at home. I shall be joyously reunited with them when I get back.

NikiBabe · 03/08/2017 13:33

Has some nice interactions with hot PT so I am like 😍😍😍

Wheresthattomoibabber · 03/08/2017 13:41

Well done niki!

lastqueenofscotland · 03/08/2017 13:46

So nice to see this thread so busy! Felt a bit quiet last month.

Hacking a jacket potato with just beans not lashings of butter and cheese. This is a huge step for queen!

BitOutOfPractice · 03/08/2017 14:05

Queeny these are the sort of changes that make for lifetime Of healthy living

Thanks guys. :)

I teach and always have the goal of going back slimmer in Sept than I left in July. I did worry that the half board holiday option was going to mean I'd have put on weight first, so to find I didn't think about it too much while away but then didn't spoil it too much is a HUGE relief to me.

I have unlimited membership to the local dance fitness centre for the Month of Aug and will hit that hard to shape up as well as slim down.

Mon - clubbercise in the a.m.
Tues - dance fit/zumba in the p.m.
Wed - dance fit in the a.m.
Thurs - zumba toning in the a.m. and dance fit in the pm
Fri - zumba gold in the a.m. and clubbercise in the pm.

All the morning classes get me out of bed and up for the day and mean I don't have lots of lovely holiday lie ins and then feel that I wasted the day!

RaeCJ82 · 03/08/2017 15:23

Thanks Bit! Smile Username change already for my third post. The other was too long; thought I'd keep it simple instead.
The weather is not helping my weight loss! I was getting some good walks in with my daughter in her pram, but the torrential rain is putting me off a little bit!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 03/08/2017 16:42

I've been to the gym and out for a cuppa with a friend. Stayed on plan all day - just had my low carb Indian for tea. Absolutely stuffed. Rewatching the Horizon programme about intermittent fasting to further inspire myself.

I've already crowed about this on the FitBit challenge but I've just had my best stepping day since I got it at Christmas - 27.5K steps, almost 20KM! Shock And on a Fast Day an' all - it's my Final Push for a great weigh-in tomorrow!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 03/08/2017 20:10

Shock well done! That's amazing!

QuimReaper · 03/08/2017 20:10

Where please feel free to call me Quim, everyone does! BOOP even calls me Quimmy Grin

Well done TV and Niki on the new lows!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 03/08/2017 20:13

Quim it is! How did you get that many steps done?

PlumFairy2014 · 03/08/2017 20:25

Well done Niki! That's great.

And blimey Quim, I feel that's a new challenge for next week. 27.5K must involve a run?!

poorpaws · 03/08/2017 22:58

Well done Niki and TV you are both inspirational.

Have a great time Hairspray.

Quim woohoo that step total is outstanding. Your weighin will be great.

Thank you all for the kind words and support, I felt so sorry for myself last night.

I hope this is not going to make me sound really weird but I just have to ask if anyone has been through the following:

Because of my recent binges (which I regret like hell now but that's another story) I've gained probably two or 3 pounds. My problem is, and I swear I'm not exaggerating, it feels like a stone! When I recently got back into the top of the nines instead of the 10 stones I started to feel slimmer at last and now with just a few pounds gained I feel enormous. As I'm putting this down I can see it sounds ridiculous but I honestly feel I have gained an absolute ton of weight and the scales tell me its only a few pounds. Has anyone else ever found this? The upside to it is I feel so bloody awful again that I should quickly get rid of this extra weight.

Back to WW for both of us Squiffy?

lastqueenofscotland · 03/08/2017 23:25

Poor we are a similar weight I think.
As long as mine starts with a 9 I'm happy, currently due to a week of stress binges last week I'm in the tens and feel like a whale.

QuimReaper · 03/08/2017 23:38

Daaaow thank you guys! No running Plum but I had a bunch of errands to run today and I just decided to walk to and between and home from all of them, and didn't take the shortest route either, so I was more or less entirely on my feet and pounding the pavements for... six hours maybe? I was lucky to be able to find the time to do that, the whole thing could have been done much more quickly if I'd used public transport!

paws oh yes I know exactly what you mean! I think in the first place it's bloat, when your innards feel just full and huge; and also I think there is a "podge barrier" element: sometimes there is a weight which tips you over into feeling "fat", and transversely makes everyone ask if you've lost weight when you slip under it. You can lose six or seven pounds without it really showing and then all of a sudden clothes start fitting and people start commenting. I was sliding perilously close to said barrier when I started my Golden Stint, so I'm pretty sure I know more or less where it is - I reckon 10 stone must be yours.

TVHubbyClaire · 04/08/2017 08:23

paws thank you, not quite so inspiring today as we ate late last night so up a Linda, I may weigh tomorrow morning and then that will be it for a fortnight. I know exactly what you mean about feeling huge after a couple of Lindas go the wrong way. Conversely I can now also have a pretty good idea of whats goiung to be a good, bad or average weigh in whilst still lying in bed before I get up...Blush

NikiBabe · 04/08/2017 08:24

I appear to be 10st dead on the scale this morning.

beepbeeprichie · 04/08/2017 08:31

Ooft this thread is full of achievers!!! I have lost .66 of a Linda this week. I'm ok with that but that sort of pace isn't going to get me 7 down by the end of the month.
I think I need to investigate this blood sugar malarkey. Mumofone I'm right there with you. After dealing with code browns all day I need a gin for medicinal purposes.

NikiBabe · 04/08/2017 08:35

The annoying thing is I bought LOADS of sports clothes to make me.look presentable at the gym.

I bought size mediums and the bottoms I keep needing to pull up.

NikiBabe · 04/08/2017 08:36

Hit post too soon, they have got too slack at the waist.

PlumFairy2014 · 04/08/2017 08:44

When I'm at about 9.5 stone I have that Paws. At this size nobody (including me!) notice until it's heading for a stone. Even a big meal at that weight and I looked pregnant.

Really good week so far. Healthy eating Mon-Wed and did the 30 day shred. Fairly healthy eating yesterday, but no shred and a glass of wine. Today is another relaxed food day, but I will let Jillian torture me. My treat meal yesterday was a prawn stir fry, rather than the old takeaway or chips so I'm getting there on the lifestyle changes... I hope!

I work this weekend though, so Sat and Sun are likely to be my lowest calorie days.
