So as the title says I want to lose a stone for my up comming holiday.

I am 4ft 10 and as of this morning i weigh 10st 2lbs. I carry most of my weight around my tummy but i think it also shows on my face.

My plan is to use MFP to track 1200 calories a day. Use my new cross trainer everyday and also walk the legs of my lovely dog lol.

I do have fibromyalgia though so i know some days are going to be hard but i determined to do this.

Thankfully i have this week off wprk sp i cam plan all my meals.

I plan to only weigh myself on a Sunday morning.

May I join? I don't have much to lose but definitely heavier than I used to be and I think keeping a food diary and sharing with you lot will help me be more disciplined.

Breakfast: avocado and bacon sandwich

Lunch: the same. Plus nectarine for dessert

Tonight: homemade turkey chilli on a baked sweet potato. Almond magnum for dessert (well, it IS Sunday)

Welcome Gah81. Ypur food diary yesterday looks gopd to me. Are you calorie counting?

Hi Gah - your food diary looks really nice - I love the sound of your turkey chilli :)

I need to get back on track this week. I gained slightly at my weigh in - only 1lb but still.

I'm going to have a mini weigh in on Friday and I'm intending to be back where I was or better.

Am smashing the water today as well - already 1l down.

missmoohoo · 07/08/2017 23:26

@Gah81 the more the merrier.

I have done ok I hope I stay strong.

Gah81 · 08/08/2017 07:35

No calorie counting - makes me miserable and I end up eating more. My main thing is stopping the stress eating - a bad day at work and I go straight to the biscuit box!

That's great on the water, millennium - how much do you aim to drink each day?

Gah81 · 08/08/2017 07:35

And thank you all for the welcome :)

milleniumhandandprawn · 08/08/2017 10:30

gah i hearyou with the stress eating - although with me it can go the other way as well.
I'm having a bit of a nightmare with work at the moment and I think it's actually making it easier to lose weight! - every cloud I guess!

How much have you got to lose? I've done about 8lb so far and would quite like to drop another stone. I'm very tall (and correspondingly heavy) though so my numbers are a bit skewed from the average.

I'm aiming for 2l of water a day, and I'm not counting other drinks towards this, so probably top 3l of liquid. I am breastfeeding still though so I get very thirsty

milleniumhandandprawn · 09/08/2017 11:32

How's everyone going? This thread's certainly a bit quieter at the minute :)

missmoohoo · 09/08/2017 12:10

I am still pushing through. Trying to do a lot more walking. I don't have a lot of hope for the end of this week.

cheeseandcrackers77 · 10/08/2017 19:09

Sorry been MIA. I may have mentioned before i have fibro amd this week seem to be having a flare up. Monday i had a packet of crisps and a choc bar and carbs at every meal. Tuesday not much better plus time of the month and DD waiting on exam results so my head was elsewhere.

Got up on Wednesday ready to throw in the towel jumped on the scales and i was down a 1lb to 10st 12lb. Sadly this hasn't totally motivated me. I'm bloated etc and with my joints being sore i have still pigged out on carbs and worse fizzy juice (irn bru to be precise).

So starting to feel a bit better as the day has gone on so going to try and pull it back BUT (always a but) 2 birthdays tomorrow. One at work so lunch out then family at night which won't help lol.

Hope everyone else is gwtting on better thos week xx

Hi Maxiflump glad you maintained this week.

So today hasn't been too bad still under 1200 calories though maybe a wee bit carb heavy but pleased anyway.

Tomorrow will be a carb breakfast as early start so easiest for me. Have a school meeting tomorrow night so will need something quick when i get in. Thiking of something egg based. Lunch i am aiming for having soup only.
