So as the title says I want to lose a stone for my up comming holiday.

I am 4ft 10 and as of this morning i weigh 10st 2lbs. I carry most of my weight around my tummy but i think it also shows on my face.

My plan is to use MFP to track 1200 calories a day. Use my new cross trainer everyday and also walk the legs of my lovely dog lol.

I do have fibromyalgia though so i know some days are going to be hard but i determined to do this.

Thankfully i have this week off wprk sp i cam plan all my meals.

I plan to only weigh myself on a Sunday morning.

Have had a bit of a naughty day today, but a lot less bad than it would have been before.
Am still in credit (just) on mfp so hopefully shouldn't be a big problem.

Have not had any alcohol at all since Tuesday which should help - I find that tends to make me retain about 3lb of water!

Will be doing the official weigh in tomorrow am. Is anyone else doing Sunday weigh days?

milleniumhandandprawn · 22/07/2017 22:43

miss I reckon you can forgive yourself the odd slip and it's important to forgive actually.

In the past I've always decided the day is wasted after something like that and then gorged on all kinds of rubbish for the rest of the day - promising I'd be good from tomorrow.
As a result I probably took in 3 x the original "sinful" calories which is just daft.

Did you go out cheese?

cheeseandcrackers77 · 22/07/2017 23:11

Weigh in for me tomorrow.

No i didn't go out. Apart from walking the dog i have been in my pj's most of the day lol. Still it saved me money and calories.

Omgomgomg!
5.5lbs down!!

2 slightly extenuating circumstances:

  1. The days before I started I'd really been "relaxed" with food and drink so was at the heavier side of normal.

  2. I've had my periods come back for the first time since I had DD nearly 10 months ago - there may be an effect from this.

But omg!!! 5.5 lbs Yay!! GrinGrinGrinGrin

cheeseandcrackers77 · 23/07/2017 09:13

5.5lbs down is bloody fantastic. Well done milleniumhandandprawn.

I am 10st bang on so a lose of 2lbs. I am happy with this.

Right time to get moving.

I need to get a new battery for my scales. Had a fairly good day yesterday - slim fast shake for lunch with some fruit and then roast for tea which isn't ideal obviously but my cals would still only be about 1200. Went on a long walk on the sand dunes too.

Today - had shreddies for breakfast, going to have fruit and yoghurt for lunch I think and not sure for tea yet, something with salad I reckon.

Just did first day of 30 day shred. My god. Also booked myself in for hardcore exercise class mon tues and weds.

missmoohoo · 24/07/2017 10:57

Well done @milleniumhandandprawn and @cheeseandcrackers77 for the lose.

I will way myself next Sunday as I have just got into it.

Low calories today for me. Fingers crossed

RJXP · 24/07/2017 11:27

Had a major fail yesterday! Went out for dinner and drinks on Saturday night, woke up hungover and craving everything unhealthy.

Back on it today though. Halo

SkeletonSkins · 24/07/2017 13:36

Just tried on a skirt that wouldn't zip up last Thursday and now it does!!!

cheeseandcrackers77 · 24/07/2017 13:41

Afternoon all.

So back at work today after a week off. I do 2 differrent jobs in my office the moday abd tuesday job is very boring and i tend to eat a lot the rest of the week i'm too busy to tgink abput food.

Anyway today i have been good. Usual milk round toast for breakfast abd lunch was my usual wrap with chicken, lettuce and tomato. I have had a 40 mimite walk at lunchtime. No idea whats for dinner as shopping be delivered tonight around 5pm.

I have tons of housework to be done tonight too so that will hopefully burn more calories.

So today ended badly. We had a mcdonalds for dinner. We have a surveyor out in the morning to value the house (for remortgage purposes) so we were busy cleaning and stuffing things in drawers and cupboards.

Anyway still within my calorie count with 14 to spare.

Better day tomorrow.

Tomorrow is another day. If you didn't eat a lot of it, it should not throw you off.

I did okish I think. My calories must have been under 1000.
Eggs, tinny bit of sweat potato, nectarines and cereals for breakfast.

Can I join? It's my birthday in 10 weeks and I need to lose a stone, I'm 5'3 and just got weighed - 10st 6 pounds, that's the heaviest I've been in 4 years. I was 12 stone in 2013 then lost 35 pounds, I felt great at 9st 6, I exercise quite a lot so am fairly toned but need to work harder at this! I'll be 50 on October 2nd, I can't be fat as well! Project 50 starts today!

cheeseandcrackers77 · 25/07/2017 09:10

Welcome runningtogetskinny. I will be 40 on the 4th October.

So woke up starving today. Have had my milk loaf toasted and a cup of tea.

Haven't made lunch as was too tired last night so need to get something out.

Thanks cheese, I changed jobs recently and have meals provided to eat with the young people I care for - the food is (in my opinion) dreadful!! I'm partially blaming this on my weight gain though I have also over eaten outside of work. Planning on keeping carbs to a minimum, no sweet foods except for fruit and the occasional Saturday treat, cutting alcohol right down and generally not eating crap! I run most days but need to ensure I always get my 10000 steps in and fit a couple of weights sessions each week. Good luck everyone Smile

SkeletonSkins · 25/07/2017 10:16

Was pretty good yesterday - legs absolutely aching thanks to starting 30 day shred but I powered through and went to my exercise class which I was pleased about. Need to motivate myself to do the shred again today but I'm so bored of being in painnnnn

Food wise I've been good. Been having no carbs at all at tea time although might have fajita wraps tonight so that's carbs. Hopefully see some results soon.

maxiflump1 · 25/07/2017 10:47

Well done on millennium and cheese on your weigh in. Having only started late last week I haven't weighed yet but may join on the weekly Sunday weigh in. I too was really good yesterday but was so so hungry! Think my stomach needs to adjust to less food: hopefully it will get easier!

milleniumhandandprawn · 25/07/2017 12:52

Hi everyone! Welcome new joiners as well :)
I've been laid up with labarynthitus since Sunday 😩
It's the first time I've had it and grim, I guess the upside is that the nausea means I'm not eating loads!

IamMummyhearmeROAR · 25/07/2017 16:22

Despite being on holiday in Spain, I lost 4lbs over the two weeks. Have continued this since we got back, even on a motorway journey home I chose a grilled chicken wrap at Maccie Ds at around 340 caps, no fries though! Last night I went to Zumba so I'm happy with how I'm still sticking to my plan. Looking for another 2lb loss this week.

FuckDietCoke · 25/07/2017 16:55

Not posted for a couple of days, it's been busy!

Went out Saturday night for a meal with DP, breakfast Sunday and we are crap all day Sunday too.

Had a good day yesterday, bad day today my car broke down on the motorway, the only thing nearby was Burger King! Had to have something from there... obviously ate the fries too Blush

I have been to the gym Saturday & Monday and will try go today. If DP is home in time for me to borrow his car!

runningtogetskinny · 26/07/2017 09:01

First day went well, under my calorie goal and hit my 10000 steps. 2 mile walk with the dog this morning so a good start! Smile

SkeletonSkins · 26/07/2017 10:56

Food wise yesterday was a bit of a disaster as went out for lunch but did skip desert!

Been hitting the exercise classes and got one tonight but my legs are still killing me from doing 30 day shred. Not sure if I can face it again!

missmoohoo · 26/07/2017 11:23

Checking in.

Yesterday was alright, I think I went over a thousands and hoping for a better day today. I was meant to be going out for lunch but thank goodness, it's raining and we can't sit out side and that has been cancelled.

I am not feeling the difference yet apart from flatter tummy.

milleniumhandandprawn · 26/07/2017 12:26

i am that's brilliant especially on holiday! Well impressed!

running and fuckdiet well done on the exercise - that's where I really lack motivation at the minute - no time or energy! (Although I'm sure I could squeeze it in if I tried...)

Am still off work sick with this virus. On the upside I'm still not hungry at all so have lost a couple more pounds... not the best way though and I cannot recommend it!

cheeseandcrackers77 · 26/07/2017 21:03

Sounds like it's going ok for most of us.

Yesterday i was under my calories and think the same for today and i don't feel hungry but MFP does not like this.

Having dinner out with a friend on friday so need to have a look and see where to go that won't dp too much damage for weigh in day lol
