So as the title says I want to lose a stone for my up comming holiday.

I am 4ft 10 and as of this morning i weigh 10st 2lbs. I carry most of my weight around my tummy but i think it also shows on my face.

My plan is to use MFP to track 1200 calories a day. Use my new cross trainer everyday and also walk the legs of my lovely dog lol.

I do have fibromyalgia though so i know some days are going to be hard but i determined to do this.

Thankfully i have this week off wprk sp i cam plan all my meals.

I plan to only weigh myself on a Sunday morning.

millenium I also have weighed myself every day Blush

I've had a protein shake again this morning and a handful of fruit for breakfast. I'll go to the gym and decide on lunch after. I really struggle to think of tasty, easy recipes.

whatsgoingon you should have drank a little more, thrown it all back up and then it doesn't count eh? Wink

Refilona · 18/07/2017 12:55

I was really good for lunch and had soup and an apple.... then had a big packet of crisps because I was peckish. I am the worst. Blush

Those sound likely lovely lunches :)
I've had sushi, and a packet of peppered beef to up the protien quota. (And a Diet Coke 😁)

Have just sent DH a shopping list for loads of salad and vegetables.
Am determined that within a month I will not look pregnant any more!

I don't know that weighing everyday is bad - my friends all seem to think it's utterly heinous, a bit obsessive and not at all healthy.

Have been back on MFP for the first time in ages - that should help.

FuckDietCoke · 18/07/2017 14:53

How quickly do people usually see/feel results? 10 days in for me and not lost anything Confused

I had a pack of cooked chicken breast and a handful of walnuts after the gym, that should keep me going until dinner.

Friday mornings are going to be my weigh days.

WalkersNotLays · 18/07/2017 14:56

Hi everybody, your lunches sound lovely and healthy!

I was on a forced fast from when I woke up until 2 (had no time for breakfast and meetings until 2pm)

Had two apples and some hummus for lunch.

Scales have weighed me in at 11 stone 8 now, the lowest I've been in a year!

cheeseandcrackers77 · 18/07/2017 15:25

FuckDietCoke no idea but i am hoping to see some change on Sunday even of it's just 1lb. I put pn my white trousers that only come out on summer size 12 and i couldn't do them up (yet other size 12's fit fine Hmm.

fuckdiet if I've been really on plan, usually within a day or two. But looking at other people's stats on here I'm much taller (and heavier) than most so would have more easily gains.
Even if I eat perfectly it will take a while for results to be actually visible (rather than just a number on the scales).

One thing that I really want to get rid of is the end of day bloating. I've been good today and am still quite puffy in the tummy. Think maybe I'm intolerant to something... no real idea what though!

SkeletonSkins · 18/07/2017 20:10

cheese that wrap sounds nice, might have to get some wraps in actually.

I've been so good today (for me lol). Here's what I ate:

Very small bowl of Alpen low sugar with semi skimmed milk. Skipped the fruit juice I'd normally eat!

Lunch - chopped banana and strawberries covered in vanilla yoghurt

Snack - pear

Tea - just put in two breaded chicken pieces and going to have them with salad as it's still very warm here.

I have not eaten (but definitely thought about it...):

  • any of the little cakes on the table in the staff room at break time
  • the big bar of galaxy a child gave me as a present this morning
  • any of the chocolate bars in the shop at lunchtime
  • an unhealthy snack when I got in from work (always do this!)

I'm so pleased with myself for all that. I think I'm going to let myself have a 99cal chocolate bar after my tea as a reward for resisting all that stuff. I also went to my exercise class and worked really hard at that and spent the day stripping displays off the wall. A good day! Hoping to be at least 3 stone down tomorrow... ha. Interestingly I'm really looking forward to enjoying my tea, even though it's nothing particularly exciting. I definitely value my meals more when I don't spend the day grazing.

I would definitely be weighing every day if the batteries in my scale hadn't gone. Need to pick one up asap but it's a weird circle battery rather than a normal one.

Not sure on tomorrow's meals, I need some inspiration.

missmoohoo · 19/07/2017 09:06

So yesterday I had lots of fruit and fish (fish and chip fish) with leaks and a bit of bacon. Not good. I am going to try harder today.

I will have porridge for breakfast I don't knows w about lunch yet.

milleniumhandandprawn · 19/07/2017 09:59

miss moohoo that doesn't sound awful?

milleniumhandandprawn · 19/07/2017 10:02

I was everso good until after dinner (jacket potato with stewed veg).

Accidentally had half a wholemeal bread roll with masses of butter and a big chunk of Wensleydale with cranberries.... oops!
was lush and am not that sorry about it

Generally though was a good day. I resisted the bag of donuts in the kitchen all evening as well!

cheeseandcrackers77 · 19/07/2017 10:20

Morning everyone.

SkeletonSkins i do love a wrap. I like the mission deli mini ones. It was very hot here yesterday so i didn't eat much and had to lie to mfp as it wouldn't let me complete diary as i was under my calories by 300.

Anyway supposed to be back to rain and wind today.

Milleniumhandandprawn bread and butter is my weakness along with cheese but a little bit now and then is ok in my book lol.

Not planned meals today. Need to pop out to post something after that i will have a look.

I seemed to have a lost a little bit today. I had some of DP's chips from KFC at 11pm last night Blush

I have a pole fitness class at 6pm today - I have no idea what to expect. I'm sure it'll be fun.

Breakfast was a protein shake and a slice of toast with a drizzle of honey. I'll grab some sushi for lunch, dinner will be prawn and chilli pasta.

What does everyone do when the sweet/sugary cravings start?! Struggled with that last night!

cheeseandcrackers77 · 19/07/2017 15:16

Oh i love the sound of a pole dancing class.

I don't have a sweet tooth so don't tend to crave but if i get a notion i have a soda water and lime. Needs to be roses lime. According to mfp a glass is only 20 calories and that satisfies me.

So no breakfast again for me. Lunch was the same wrap as yesterday. Still not sire whats for dinner but plenty in to choose from.

WalkersNotLays · 19/07/2017 15:27

DietCoke

Pole fitness sounds amazing, let us know how it goes!

SkeletonSkins · 19/07/2017 18:06

I went a bit off track today and ate half a pack of matchmakers. For gods sake. However I did only eat half and binned the rest so thinking that's a positive?

Other than that meals today-
Breakfast - small bowl of shreddies, half a glass of fresh fruit juice
Lunch - 99cal yoghurt and a banana (wasn't very hungry, see matchmaker situation)
Tea - going to have an omelette and salad. Hoping the lack of carbs may make up a bit for the chocolate gorge. Feel I'm probably fooling myself though.

My big problem is energy - I'm exhausted at the minute and I reach for those quick hits.

pigletpie29 · 19/07/2017 18:20

You can do this, I promise! I lost two stone in two months last year and kept it off. I didn't do it sensibly at all - I basically just ate chicken pieces, ham, eggs, fish and loads of fruit and veg (roasted, lovely salads etc.) Once the weight started to come off I got motivated to keep going. I find now I can go a whole day without eating and just eat in the evenings if I need to - partly stress from work but at least there's an up side. I now have ibs and may have fucked up my stomach by crash dieting though.

missmoohoo · 19/07/2017 18:58

To day, I had
-a slice of bread with tiny honey one with tea (without sugar)
Two nectarines
Lunch at three of roast lamb, with fresh tomatoes,

Dinner, cucumber and an egg.

SkeletonSkins · 19/07/2017 21:32

I just threw away a big bar of galaxy, winner.

milleniumhandandprawn · 19/07/2017 21:52

Argh!!! A chocolate hobnob just fell into my mouth 😲😲😲
Only one mind. Which is a massive improvement on recent times!

milleniumhandandprawn · 19/07/2017 21:53

Well done skeleton. I could use some of your will power!

SkeletonSkins · 19/07/2017 22:32

Ha let's not forget the number of matchmakers I ate today!!!

milleniumhandandprawn · 20/07/2017 10:39

Lol yes I suppose there is that... at least you didn't have matchmakers AND galaxy though 😁

I've decided I'm going to start going to bed earlier. I think I get most knackered in the evening and then turn to sugar to keep going.
Working full time (with a 3 hour commute) and a nightfeeding 9month old is taking its toll! 😩

milleniumhandandprawn · 20/07/2017 19:09

How's today been for everyone?
I've been perfectly behaved today (so far)
Yogurt and oat bran from breakfast, large salad for lunch with tuna and 4 ryvita, apple and melon pot as snacks...

If I can behave well tonight in my danger time as well I'll be thrilled!

Am definitely going to try for an early night.
