Well done so far everyone. The gym went well - it was hard work though!

Also, I find exercise makes me more hungry.

HairsprayBabe · 04/07/2017 19:29

It is basically a nut roast squiff
www.greatbritishchefs.com/recipes/red-lentil-loaf-recipe

Mine is based on this one, but I used a mix of red and puy lentils 3:1 ratio and add in celery and other veg scraps with the onions plus sprinkle the top with pine nuts and sunflower seeds. That recipe would probably stretch to 6 people, with enough veg on the side. I serve mine like a sunday dinner with gravy etc.

An ok but not perfect day today. Should be very light on food tomorrow thank god!

lumpit · 04/07/2017 21:05

Oh can I join too please? I could use a way to hold myself accountable!

Morning all! I am still not completely back on the wagon yet, I'm hoping today is the day it all falls back into place. I went over my calories Monday and yesterday, but I did only have 800 calories yesterday so it does just about count as a fast day. Aiming for 1500 today and I have a HIIT class at the gym booked for this evening.

Welcome Early and lumpit!

lastqueenofscotland · 05/07/2017 08:00

144.8 today so three off from yesterday thank godddd.

HairsprayBabe · 05/07/2017 08:06

Morning all, welcome lumpit

10.6 was honestly hoping for a bit more of a loss after a fast day yesterday but never mind.

Need to stop nibbling in the evening, I tried to knock it on the head by having an early dinner, but I was back in the kitchen three times last night having strawberries, pickles and even some nuts! I know they are still "good" foods but the nibbling is not helping my calorie intake, and I am not hungry I just like to eat Grin

EarlyWelcome · 05/07/2017 08:23

Two pounds off this morning. I know it's water weight and I've still got a long way to go but getting (just!) under 17st is a huge psychological boost.

I too like to nibble of an evening. My foods aren't (or weren't) as healthy though!

lastqueenofscotland · 05/07/2017 08:50

Hairspray what I'm going to start doing is have a big box of cucumber sticks in the fridge which I think will help numb my mindless nibbling and the calories are pretty negligible

Chardonnay73 · 05/07/2017 08:53

Gahhhhh I just cannot shift this last half stone! Tried fasting, shakes, low carb the lot.Angry
Putting on and losing the same 2lbs for 2 months now 😩
It's clearly the exercise which I can't do at the moment, even walking any distance makes my arm/neck ache again.
Any ideas oh wise ones?? 🙏

HairsprayBabe · 05/07/2017 09:16

Chard reckon you will try anything? Could give the master cleanse a go... drastic, but worked for Beyonce...

Could you try ankle weights strap them on and go about your day, couple of extra kilos will increase your burn surely? If you can't walk about much get some slightly heavier ones and do some sat down leg lifts? I don't know much about your condition or exercise so this could be very unhelpful!

lasty I really want to get out of the habit of mindless nibbling but it is so hard, apparently if you do something for 21 days then it becomes habit, I can't seem to get past 2 days though Grin

SoapyChoc · 05/07/2017 10:41

Evening nibbling is one of my fall downs too. I allow myself a small treat e.g curly wurly type thing each eve and wait until 8pm so that I have it to look forward to but also not too early so I want another. Does the trick most of the time.
Feeling too knackered for the gym today so going to try and do lots of walking here and there to get lots of steps instead. Hope everyone is having a good day.

QuimReaper · 05/07/2017 10:58

What the blazes is the Master Cleanse? It sounds terrifying!

BitOutOfPractice · 05/07/2017 11:11

I don't know what Master Cleanse is either (I feel it needs those initial caps!). In my mind I am saying it in a deep boomy cinema-trailer style voice.

HairsprayBabe · 05/07/2017 12:04

It really is terrifying, it is very very restrictive and for 10 days seems too much... But I have done it for three and it really resets your eating. I did 1 ease in 3 days on the cleanse and then 1 ease out, this was when I was 18 and wanted to slim down for my 6th form leavers ball... lost 6lbs in a week and got to 8st6 . My mother did not approve, Beyonce did it in 2007 for her dream girls role and a lot of actors use it when they need to lose weight for roles e.g Anne Hathaway in Les Mis... Apparently Naomi Campbell does it three times a year.

This is not a sustainable way to lose weight, and more of a reset on your diet.

TVHubbyClaire · 05/07/2017 12:14

hello all, 3 nights away and an extra 3 Lindas on the scales this morning

Up to 12st 11 again....Sad

32 days until summer holidays so a 7lb loss would be fab, I guess I will settle for less as long as I'm below 12st 8

QuimReaper · 05/07/2017 13:26

Hairspray you said that like at the end of alcohol adverts where they mutter "pleasedrinkresponsiblydonotdrinkanddriveetc" Grin

QuimReaper · 05/07/2017 13:28

TV you need to rediscover that mojo quick-sharp! What's the plan for this week? Y

HairsprayBabe · 05/07/2017 13:43

I didn't want anyone to think I had gone totally mad quim!

I really do not advocate getting all your calories from just maple syrup for any real length of time Grin

So no one has taken advice to go to a gym? Not even looked? you know who you are

scarily restrictive 10 day diets?

Yesterday I ate a twirl bar, a packet of crisps, on top of my meals. Ive still lost weight.

Why?

Look at the mfp entry for yesterday.

True i am.off work and can fit all that in but imagine if you just did.1-2 of those activities 2-3 times a week.

HairsprayBabe · 05/07/2017 14:28

Sorry Niki

In fairness I have booked in for a taster session at the gym on my way home but they didn't have a slot I could make until next Monday, and will pop into the one near my house on Saturday! Promise!

Will probably still do scary lemon juice diet anyway Grin

Maybe I am going mad!

QuimReaper · 05/07/2017 14:30

Niki the Master Cleanse was only mentioned (in a semi-joking fashion) in response to Chard's frustration at shifting the Last Few. If you remember, she's had health and mobility problems in the past few weeks, so I doubt she'll appreciate advice to do a Body Pump class.

NikiBabe · 05/07/2017 14:37

Quim if you read the post above mine it will be obvious it wasnt directed at shard..

You know if you're going to be like that.....
