Morning everyone.

I'm down to 16'12 today so that's 4lb off this week. I know it's water weight and the rate of loss will slow down but I just need to keep on - I've got a lot of weight to lose!

Sorry to ask a silly question but what are Linda's and otters? I've done a search but couldn't find anything.

HairsprayBabe · 07/07/2017 07:57

Just some autocorrect developments Grin

lindas - lbs
otters - others
buggers - buffets

we are all very sensible here!

EarlyWelcome · 07/07/2017 07:59

Grin I would never have got that in a million years! Thanks.

lastqueenofscotland · 07/07/2017 08:56

145 this morning

WalkersNotLays · 07/07/2017 11:01

Hi guys, I am back! Had a lovely holiday in Budapest, ate my body weight in all the food and have most likely given myself diabetes with all the lemonade I drank.

But I weighed today and I didn't put on any weight Confused 100% ready to get back on track. Yoga this evening and swimming and maybe a run tomorrow

BitOutOfPractice · 07/07/2017 11:09

It's a Hungarian miracle Walkers Grin

Did you try the Langos while you were there. OMG it's this fried dough stuff smothered in garlicky melty butter

Hello everyone. I actually managed a golden day yesterday! Hallelujah!

OP posts:
QuimReaper · 07/07/2017 11:15

Wowzers Walkers that's truly miraculous!

Chard I'm always really confused about that diet - apparently the BHF have denied any involvement with it, it seems to be a sort of internet myth, but there are lots of people out there saying it's worked for them.

Doesn't sound like your one is quite the same as the one that gets kicked about as the "chemical diet" though, I seem to remember that one involves toast and somehow "chemically" increases your weight loss, but nobody ever seems to be able to explain how...!

BitOutOfPractice · 07/07/2017 11:27

It's magic innit Quim

Hello... 1.6 off this week so now at 13.4.
Glad it's still coming off, but this weekend is going to test it sorely.

Wedding tomorrow - it's an earlyish ceremony (12) and that means a set lunch, drinks and then hanging around before dinner.

Then a baby shower with more food (sandwiches and chips apparently) on Sunday.

I won't still be 13.4 on Monday!

AND I've felt really rough and dizzy today - ear ache related, not booze - and I've had to cancel my clubbercise class.

There's an amazing (older) lady at the classes. She wears heavy mascara. And gets hot and sweaty. At some point in every class she wipes her face with her hands and doesn't just smudge her mascara. She ends up with it all down her face!

Hand me the deep fried mars bars

Softpebbles · 08/07/2017 05:56

Just checking in. Been a while. No access to scales so will weigh next week.

Have been really really suffering with my digestion I am going to have to go to the doctors as is beyond ridiculous.

Sorry it's a me post - time is short at the moment. Re gym attendance. I have no time between work and the kids. Am managing a run once or twice a week and I do a bit of hit training at home occasionally. I really need to sort my stomach out.

lastqueenofscotland · 08/07/2017 06:56

Soft sorry to hear you're struggling
144 this morning so another Linda.

Not too shoddy as I restarted at 147 on Tuesday Shock

EarlyWelcome · 08/07/2017 07:58

I went out for a meal last night and even though I tried to eat healthily, I know I will have put weight on. I dare not weigh myself for a few days.

Well done to everyone for their losses and support to anyone who might be struggling - you can do this!

Smarshian · 08/07/2017 08:12

Can I join please? I'm 6 months postpartum and have 1st 7lb to lose to get down to my target 9st 11. Currently 11st 4.

I have a wedding to go to at the end of the month and everyone there last saw me on munch wedding day when I was 10st so really want to get under 11st by then.

So weighing in today at 11st 4, aiming for under 11st by 28th! Wish me luck!

Can anyone who has had a loss this week tell me what your average daily diet/exercise have been?

lastqueenofscotland · 08/07/2017 08:30

Welcome smarsh
I've lost three pounds since Tuesday and in that time have had a pizza and a curry.... but have run plenty!

Today I'm trying to get by on fruit and veg until dinner

Howlongtillbedtime · 08/07/2017 08:41

Morning all , another busy weekend here . I am out tonight for a friends birthday so booze aplenty and then I am meeting another friend tomorrow for lunch and wine .This time of year does seem to be the most sociable for everyone which is great but a bit tricky for getting rid of the lard.

Am off to the gym in a minute to try and give myself a headstart on it all.

HairsprayBabe · 08/07/2017 11:13

Morning all 10.5 this morning, ate bread at breakky but have been for a run and planning on a video when I get back from doing the food shop so that balences out right? 😂

lastqueenofscotland · 08/07/2017 20:49

Went out for dinner and didn't make awful choices but couldn't resist desert.

Took a group photo and I do look chubby AngrySad
Which I hope is the kick i need to slim back down

QuimReaper · 09/07/2017 09:57

Morning all, sounds like everyone's feeling very positive! Welcome Smarsh, nice to have a new face!

What have the little treasures been up to BOOP?

MacaroonMama · 09/07/2017 11:36

Hello Slenderistas,
Can I join you? You all seem so positive - and realistic with long term healthy goals. Which is what I need!
I have been big or dieting for years... Am now 37, and third (and last!) baby is nearly 18 months, so I have set myself a goal of feeling great about myself by the time I'm 40.
Jan 2017 was 16st and 1lb (size 18) Low-carbed it to 14 stone (size 14-16) by Easter but since then have been really struggling - haven't weighed myself but judging by clothes etc have probably been gaining and losing the same 5-7lbs since then! Someone on here mentioned the Dukan Diet realistic goal weight (or something) which was interestingly about a stone above my top healthy BMI - so I am happy to go with that as a target. It was 12 and a half stone. I have nice curves and am never going to be skinny but I need to remember long term goals of not eating crap, and remembering 'I'm worth it' (sorry for corny phrase but it helps me!)
Sooooo my plan to lose the Lindas is to try to do the Shred DVD 3-4 x a week, and eating-wise... hmmm... dunno. Love LCing but DH hates it - also in this weather, I mainly want to eat salad and watermelon. Does anyone do MFP? I may set myself a target calorie count and see if I feel less restricted that way. Am still BF the baby but only about 1-3 x a day so prob won't need masses of extra calories.
Anyway! I feel better already having written this! Hope everyone has a great day! Thanks all x

MacaroonMama · 09/07/2017 18:49

Oh no, I have killed the conversation! I was too eager, wasn't I - or too needy? Oops... Wink Hope everyone had a healthy day (and didn't accidentally have seconds of roast potatoes like me...)
