Back from holiday and too scared to step on the scales! Just don't want to know!

But in the wagon this week have made up a big batch of veg and lentil soup for lunches this week.

There are lots of good losses and NsV going on so well done all.
I have 4 weeks to undo the damage from this holiday before I go on my next Blush

Niki that is good advice, could I do it on a regular run too? I fear the gym, I think I would look stupid and I care too much about what other people think... even though they are probs too busy with their own workouts to care what I am doing!

10.7 this has been a very good weekend for me, and my lowest Monday weight so far. Drinking really ruins my losses, had a no booze weekend - but did eat cake.

Back on it today, after being off for a while I'm weighing in at almost the same (woo!)

So to meet my aim, I need to lose 5lbs by Friday. Sounds impossible, but as I'm "carb loaded" it might actually be possible?!

Ooooh I have eaten and drank non stop for 5 days Blush
A 7 course tasting menu on Friday night and a 9 course one on Saturday Shock
2lbs on so could have been worse.
So, loins girded, protein shakes at the ready to get 10lbs off to get to goal before August.
Let's do this!!!!

Booze and food on Friday and Saturday has meant a bad start to thew eek, up 3 Lindas from Friday. Hoping to lose that quickly today and tomorrow.

Away at end of week and I think my 12st 6 target is a bit too optinmistric now, I will settle for 12 st 8

Bought a pair of shorts in M&S yesterday and down a size Smile, then went to Zara (never bought anything there before) and bought a pair of ankle grazer trousers which are a size below what I would normally expectSmile

I think one or two glasses of wine would be ok but I always go for super sugary cocktails, and have one five too many!

You can do it on a regular run hairspray the only thing is I put the incline quite steep and you probably run on the flat.

The gym isnt scary at all the key is to make friends with trainers amd join classes then you feel comfortable and dont care.

So I didn't get to weigh in on Friday because my fucking fucking Ocado shop was AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES late and I ran out of time Angry I am really pissed off because I think it would've been a good weigh-in and I was really interested to know how three days of pure protein had worked out. I'm not going to manage a golden week for ages now, I've got too much in the diary!

I weighed myself for the first time since 6 June today Blush and by some blessed miracle I have STS according to BF's scales so I'm taking that!

Could say I can taste the 10's but all I can taste is the Oreo thins I've just eaten 😂

I thought i need to take responsibility and weighed myself this morning. Gained 3.7 Linda's on my week again AngrySad so I'm at a gain for the month.
I am just so sick of gaining and losing the same amount.

Any ideas on how to tone up? I am so wobbly it isn't even funny.

Well done pebbles! The 10's by the end of the week is definitely do able!

I am annoyed, went round MILs last night and she had "surprised" is with chinese take away - I don't even like chinese takeaway tbh.

Thought I was being really good, only had broccoli and mixed veg and bamboo and water chestnuts... I even washed the brown sauce off...

10.8 so gained a pound, probably from all the sugar and salt in it - and please no one tell me I am reaching my "natural weight" I am not done yet and getting very frustrated! +2lbs for the month and 3 days to go

Now I sound very bratty and ungreatful.

BOOP how on earth you can drink wine on so little food is beyond me! Dedication I guess Grin (Also I'm presuming at least half of that was wine Wink )

Hairspray these plateaux are an annoying but inevitable part of weight loss - I don't think it means you can't lose more at all, just that you need to grit your teeth and accept a slowdown! I know people on other threads swear by a personal trainer for "those last few pounds", but I don't know what the solution is I'm afraid. I'd be tempted to try a brand new WOE for a couple of weeks to give your metabolism a jog, or an exercise programme might be the ticket.

I agree Quim I knew I couldn't go on losing a stone a month forever. Any loss this month will be welcomed, I have a friend who did SW last year at about this weight, and she lost on average 1/2 a lb a week for 6 months to lose a stone ish so slow progress is progress!

Exercise may be the key to my last hurdle... even though I hate it

Will go for a run tonight even though I snapped at DP this morning when he dared to suggest it after I was moaning about my gain...

Hairspray I think the key with exercise is to find something you enjoy.
I love running but i can see why people hate it.
Would you enjoy cycling/dancing/ walks etc etc more?
