Morning Everyone,

Some fantastic losses this week.

swlondonnanny Yay- well done, great loss.

Itmustbemyage Well done 3lbs loss is fab, it's great having something like a holiday to aim for. Clothes sizing is such a bugbear of mine- I don't understand why they can just standardise the sizing.

FatGirlWithChocolate I totally get your frustrations, sometimes there is just no pattern, you try really hard & nothing then randomly 3lb gone! Just think how much fitter you will be.

WorshipTheGourd Welcome to our thread, keep chipping away and what seems like loads to go will all of a sudden be gone! I use a Samsung Gear Fit, which I find really useful, but afraid I don't do iPhones.

Well I have weighed in this morning, after odd scales and last weekend away I have lost 3.5lbs, so current weight 15st 3lbs, BMI 34.6.

I was superstrict and have been having ago at 16:8 fasting, and strangely I think that I feel better doing that, less up and down. Still Calorie counting & doing the Hairy Dieters meals but not eating between 8pm & 12pm. Going to carry it on this week and see what happens. wondering if anyone else has tried this?

Have a great week everyone...keep KOKOing! Grin

WildImaginings · 10/07/2017 13:09

Sorry for my long absence!

I put on half a stone on my holiday, which was less than I expected really.

I've not been as strict since I got back, but I've been enjoying myself and still losing slowly. Still need to lose a few more pounds to get back to the pre holiday loss of 4st. Weigh in tonight, and I'm hoping for a 2lb loss.

I'm going to Poland in September, and I'd love to have my five stone award by then.

WildImaginings · 10/07/2017 13:10

Oh and meant to add, well done to everyone! You're all doing fantastically Grin

Itmustbemyage · 13/07/2017 12:38

swlondonnanny you are just a weight losing machine
Lotsawobblybits well done on getting back on the weight loss wagon
I do a 14-10 version of overnight fasting nothing after 8pm and nothing before 10/11am I find it works really well as night time snacking was my downfall. Weirdly my brain seems to accept that I’m not allowed to eat anything after 8pm (except on special occasions)
wild fingers crossed for a good loss for you this week.

My starting weight 16 stone 0lbs

Week 1 - 3lb loss - 15 stone 11lbs
Week 2 - 5lb loss - 15 stone 6lbs
Week 3 - 4lb loss - 15 stone 2lbs
Week 4 - 2lb loss - 15 stone 0lb
Week 5 - 4lb loss - 14 stone 10lbs
Week 6 - 2lb loss - 14 stone 8lbs
Week 7 - 3lb loss - 14 stone 5lbs
Week 8 – 3lb loss -14 stone 2lbs
Week 9 – 2lb loss – 14 stone 0lbs

My initial targets

  1. Lose 10 percent of the total weight I need to lose. - 9lbs - Achieved 30th May Smile
  2. Lose 1 stone an important milestone for me - 14lbs - Achieved 6th June Smile
  3. Lose 20 percent of the total weight I need to lose - 17lbs -Achieved 12th June Smile
  4. Lose 10 percent of my current weight - 23lbs - Achieved 26th June Smile
  5. Keep on going til I go on holiday at the end of July, one week at a time 6. Secret dream goal to lose 2 stone before I go on holiday Achieved 11th July Star

Sorry to be so self – congratulatory as to give myself a star but am just so chuffed to have lost the weight despite some real challenges in my life at the moment.
KOKO everyone

Itmustbemyage · 13/07/2017 19:21

Oops just re read my own post I sound totally big headed. Sorry, just got carried away.
I forgot to add, 4 stones still to go but it's a start.

WildImaginings · 13/07/2017 21:41

Itmustbemyage- well done! You're doing fantastically, and I bet it shows.

I lost my 2lb. I'm not doing so well lately, I'm being quite slack when I'm in work. It's so bloody hard being surrounded by snacks all day!

Hoping for a 2lb loss next week, as this will get me down to my pre holiday weight. I've got the food and drink festival on the weekend, and I'm not going to deny myself if I fancy something. Will make up for it the day before and after, and hopefully safeguard my loss.

swlondonnanny · 16/07/2017 22:23

wild 4stone loss is great and 2lbs off this week is great, it is coming off Smile And nd you should be able to get your st reward before you trip in September
itmustbe well done on 2stone loss in months, you are a Star and of course you should be proud of yourself Smile I am with you on clothes sizes confusion. So I have this old pair (7 years) of boden jeans which finally fit again in size 18. So do my dresses in size 18. So last week in M@S I picked some jeans in the same size and couldn't get into them!!! And I though M@S was quite generous with sizing. Clearly not...
worship as itmustbe mentioned weight loss is mainly about 'diet' and much less about exercise. Sorry I can't advice you on exercise I only do walking which I think might not be good for you?
lots hoping for a big loss for you for tomorrow, it would encourage you after being super strict. I do 16:8 quite often and find it relatively easy. Don't know if it is helping much with the weight loss but saves me from deciding what to eat for breakfast Grin
FatGirl hope the scales are moving in the right direction again...

swlondonnanny · 17/07/2017 07:09

Morning ladies,

Lotsawobblybits · 17/07/2017 11:17

Morning all, hope you have all had a good weekend.

Wild 1/2 a stone is not too bad at all for a holiday, you will soon smash that off, Fantastically well done on your 2lbs off.

Itmustbe Well done on another great loss, you have every right to be proud of yourself. Weight loss is really hard for anyone- but when life throws spanners in the works it can make it even harder still. You keep KOKOing and celebrating the successes.

SWLondonnanny YAY!! well done another fab loss, you are a total diet demon! I agree with the not deciding whats for breakfast...we've made savings on shopping too Grin

At this mornings weigh in I'm down 2.5 lbs, but it's the week before AF, so that messes me up a bit.

Current stats: 15 st 0.5lb; Total loss 95.5lbs; BMI 33.9

This weeks target is to get into the 14 stone category, 2 gym sessions & to continue 16:8.

swlondonnanny · 17/07/2017 14:16

Lots 95.5lbs Wow!!! You are a Star how much more are you looking to lose still? Did you say you were doing calorie counting?

Lotsawobblybits · 17/07/2017 14:38

swlondon Thankyou you are very kind- you have done very very well as well! For a healthy BMI I need to be at max 11st 1lb, so ideally would like to get there, but at the moment 12st is my target, (which still seems a long way off!) and is still a huge 42.5lbs to lose.

Yes calorie counting & doing 16:8 (but i'm not sure if that is making all that much difference, but going to continue it for a bit)

swlondonnanny · 17/07/2017 15:01

Lots can I ask how many calories a day are you eating? Also on days when you do 16:8 do you lower your calories or eat the same just within shorter period of time
I am still way off my 'ideal' weight (whatever that would be) but am considering trying to maintain for a few weeks ( a month maybe) once I get into 'overweight' BMI category... just to see if I can keep the same weight for a reasonable length of time and also give my skin /body time to adjust. I seem to be losing around a stone a month which I find great but don't want to do it too fast. Also I think my thyroid meds will need to be adjusted and think we will resume TTC in about 3 mnths and I want my hormones to settle a bit... so if I can get my BMI from 43 to 29 I will be happy.... am really doing this for health benefits and even though under 25 is the best for health I think 29 is fine. For a while... and see how I feel then. Maybe concentrate more on my fitness levels than weight loss...

Lotsawobblybits · 17/07/2017 15:49

swlondon I aim to eat between 1000 & 1200 per day, some days it is a bit less (16:8 days) and do some form of exercise each day, sometimes that is just a 30 min walk.

I've been tracking Macros for fat loss as well, so I aim to eat 25% Carbs, 45% Protein & 30% Fat - Which is quite low carb (Approx

swlondonnanny · 18/07/2017 06:39

Lots that's very similar to what I am doing (when I log it into MFP) I just do less carbs (30ish) and more fat...
5:2 might be a good way to maintain, will look into it properly...
I can definitely see you running 5K Smile

Itmustbemyage · 20/07/2017 13:18

swlondonnanny amazing continued weight loss
Lotsawobblybits wow 95.5lbs loss that’s impressive
Wild – congrats on the 2lbs loss hope you get another 2lbs next week to get you back to your pre-holiday weight

Last weigh in before my holiday. While I’m away just going to try and keep any weight gain to a reasonable level and assess the damage on my return. Thanks for all the support to get me to this point.
KOKO everyone I'll still be willing you on even while I'm not posting.

I've weighed in this morning too, total loss this week 2.5lbs, so current Weight; 14st 12lb, BMI; 33.4, total loss; 98lbs. Chuffed to have hit the 7 stone mark Grin.

It is getting harder now, I cheated a bit on Saturday and had a piece of cake, but I think that as I have cut out nearly all sugar it made me feel really grotty.

itmustbemyage hope you have a really lovely holiday.

Lotsawobblybits · 31/07/2017 16:37

swlondon Fabulous- 1.7kg is fab, that must be nearly 4lbs in old money. You really are motoring. You must feel so different now, that's a huge amount you have lost. Have you any mid targets in mind?

I have lost 3.5lbs this week, so current weight 14st 8.5lb, BMI 32.9. So looking forward to no longer being obese!

Have been doing some more lumbering running this week, would like to be able to run a 5k eventually, though I don't think that will be this year! upping the exercise seems to have kick started my plateau this month. hope everyone has had a good weekend. Onward to goal!

swlondonnanny · 01/08/2017 07:22

Lots thank you, well done yourself! And running as well Grin
I can't wait till my BMI is under 30 but that's still over 10kg so think around another stone and half.
I would ideally be a stone lighter by the time I go to Spain in a month time and the other half stone till mid September when we have a party for quite a few people. Would make me 'just' overweight by then Grin would be very happy with it.
How about you? Any mid targets?

Lotsawobblybits · 04/08/2017 13:28

swlondon My big target is to be 12 stone for Christmas, but that seems a long way off, (36lbs). DP is working away in September & would love to be a in a size 14, for the beginning of October. I need to lose another 18lbs for BMI 30.

You will look fab for Spain, it's great to have a target like that to aim for- Grin.

Have a good weekend and keep KOKOing.

swlondonnanny · 07/08/2017 06:29

lots size 14 for october would be so good!!! What size are you in now? Hope September without DP won't be too difficult for you...
I managed to put some weight on (boooo) but it looks like I tend to gain some/STS around ovulation. Hoping for a good loss this week

Morning all.

Weigh in this morning, 2lbs off this week. Current Weight: 14st 6.5lbs, BMI 32.6. Creeping towards BMI 30.

Swlondon Currently a size 16, tried a pair of 14's on in Next over the weekend and was amazed they even went over the thighs & did up. However, I wouldn't have been able to sit down or breath and had one hell of a camel toe Grin.

Aww don't worry about the slight gain, you will shift that off in no time- I find that AF/OV reeks all kind of havoc with weight. Just look at how far you have come- fingers crossed slight blip and you will smash it this week, don't let it knock you off stride. Keep on KOKOing!

Itmustbemyage · 09/08/2017 15:36

Afternoon everyone that's me back from holiday.
I did the dreaded weigh in expecting to have put some weight back on
but I haven't, lost 1lb since I weighed in before going away. Which must have been down to being good the first few days before I dived head first in a carb and cocktail frenzy and also the thought of having to post any gain here so thanks for keeping me under check.

My starting weight 16 stone 0lbs

Week 1 - 3lb loss - 15 stone 11lbs
Week 2 - 5lb loss - 15 stone 6lbs
Week 3 - 4lb loss - 15 stone 2lbs
Week 4 - 2lb loss - 15 stone 0lb
Week 5 - 4lb loss - 14 stone 10lbs
Week 6 - 2lb loss - 14 stone 8lbs
Week 7 - 3lb loss - 14 stone 5lbs
Week 8 - 3lb loss - 14 stone 2lbs
Week 9 - 2lb loss - 14 stone 0lbs
Week 10 - 3lb loss - 13 stone 11lbs
Week 11/12/13 - 1lb loss - 13 stone 10lbs

I'll have a think about some new targets and I'm back on the KOKO regime.
Well done to everyone on their progress and resisting summer temptations.
