swlondon I'm still about! Weighed in today:

Start weight 232.8lb
Today's weight 200.00
Total loss 32.8lb

Will absolutely be back on it now, I gave up a bit in December and was a bit disappointed in myself!

Morning all,

Start weight 232.8lb
Today's weight 208.2lb
Total loss 24.6lb

I'm really hoping I'll get to a BMI of 30 by Christmas, maybe wishful thinking but I don't drink anyway so don't have to worry about Christmas parties too much

Morning All, This weeks stats....

Loss:-1.5lbs
Total Loss:-121.0
BMI: 29.8
Current Weight: 13st 3lbs

So happy Grin....no longer obese- just overweight! Never thought I would be able to say that!! I have treated myself to a new jacket (wanted Wine & Cake really) It is getting harder with every llb lost feeling like a battle. 2 stone to go to be a healthy BMI.

Well Done Bored you are doing so well.

dongdong I never thought i would be able to do it TBH- but little at a time you can chip bits off. I always think how quickly this year has gone, & imagine if I started this time last year what I could do. This year is the first time in my life I have been a Size 16.

swlondon hope you are having a good week too!

This is a really inspiring thread. Like many of you, I have a whole person to lose and it’s so hard to imagine shifting that much weight. But seeing how people have taken chunks off their weight is awesome.

If I can get into a size 16 one day I’d be happy! Or at least get out of the horrible obese category. I’ll drfinitely be following for inspiration.

Bored As i'm such a geek I have made a spreadsheet with all my weigh in's on so I can track it Blush It really motivates me to see the numbers go down!

I don't think I've ever actually been in Topshop- everything looks so tiny Grin

I didn't think of that lots but I will because I like watching the scales go down and a tape measure would be even better.

I thought New Look & Dotty P's would be the most accurate so Ill go there at some point when DD is napping. I'm not why I even suggested Top Shop... I've never seen anything bigger than a 12 in there anyway!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having a great week. Grin
This week
Loss:-1.5lbs
Total Loss:-119.5lbs
BMI: 30
Current Weight: 13st 4.5lbs

Bit gutted I'm going to be obese for at least another week...but hey ho! On the other hand I ran 5km- best distance yet, it did take me 45 mins but I felt okay after.

Well done swlondon, another really good steady loss- hope you are feeling well.

BoredOnMat well done you are smashing this! Another thought have you got a tape measure, I have measurements going back to April & over time gives a really good indication, as sometimes you think you have only lost a couple of Llbs but then measure yourself and you have lost half an Inch. Scales are a good investment.

I always think that Next and M&S are a bit generous with sizes- not sure about Top Shop, but would say Dotty P's is about right.

Hi everyone!

I've found I have to weigh myself in the exact same spot in my bathroom otherwise it can jump up or down 3lb

Start weight: 232.8lb
Todays weight 214.4lb
Total loss 18.4lb

Inspired by 10stonetolose I've set up some targets. Some of which are "fit into 18/16 in most shops". Trouble is I have no time to go off shopping in loads of shops and trying on clothes as I have young DD. Any recommendations on 1 shop that is fairy accurate to sizing? In my town we have New look/Dorothy Perkins/ Next/ M&S/ Topshop/ Peacocks. I know dress size doesn't really matter but I would be interested to know as I'm fairly sure I'm not a 20 anymore

Monday morning weigh in
Current weight 102.3 kg
Week 32 -0.7kg
Lots really hope your BMI is going to be under 30 this week. You've done so well, what a difference one year can make, hey?
Bored I think you need scales. When I was looking for mine recently I think I saw some you can use on carpet as well...
Have a good week everyone Smile

Morning- hope you are all having a good week. Today's Stats-

Loss: -1lb
Weight: 13st6lb
BMI: 30.3
Total Loss: 118lbs

A loss is a loss- and even if it is only coming off 1lb at a time it is still coming off. I am thinking it's a case of The Hare and The Tortoise, slow steady wins the race.

This week I am aiming to loose enough to no longer be obese- so will have gone from BMI 47.1 to

Swlondon Fantastic loss well done- I like your scales too! I am really pleased for you- ace going.

BoredOn I would go with the 3lb loss Grin well done! floors can mess scales up- we have a dodgy tile in the bathroom with throws mine off, I get DP to calibrate for me, he weighs a 2ltr jug of water.

Will report back on Thursday after weigh in- fingers crossed though not confident!

So I've just weighed myself again and was 218.8lb? I very much doubt I've lost 3lb in 3 hours.

Do you think I need new scales? Live in a flat so only flooring options are on carpet or vinyl which I know isn't ideal.

Anyway I'm going with 218.8lb to make myself feel a bit better.

Conquered my 1 press up challenge this week! DP away for the week for work so I am hoping for good results in the next week. Had chicken and veg for dinner last night and DD ate most of it off my plate so I guess that's one way to get the calories down! Hmm

Start weight: 232.8lb
Todays weight 218.0lb
Total loss 14lb 8oz.

Lots thank you
Did you start using all the functions on the scales? Looks like my body fat % is just over 40%!!!!!

Report
Lotsawobblybits · 09/10/2017 09:58

SWLondon Don't feel down- It may just be your new scales weighing slightly different -perhaps see it as re-calibration & new start, then next Monday is your true result! You have done so well and been so consistent- 1kg is just a little blip when taken in context with the results you have had over the long term. Keep positive you can & will do this!

Well from Thursday to this morning I have stayed the same, which is no real shocker, contemplating changing my weigh in day to Thursday from now on.

Feel quite energized today- Lets Smash this! Grin
