Squiffy01 · 04/05/2017 07:06

Softpebbles · 04/05/2017 07:22

Well done Arch that's amazing. Hope your sticking around with us all. 😀

Welcome newbies.

Sorry haven't had time to post properly. I daren't go on the sad step. Feel like I am fighting a bit of a black cloud. Grrrrr.

PT session booked for tomorrow. Hopefully will help me feel better! X

BitOutOfPractice · 04/05/2017 07:43

Oh softy sorry you're feeling low. Can you manage to get out for a walk / fresh air today?

I've woken up STARVING! Not a good sign for s golden day!

BeyondStrongAndStable · 04/05/2017 08:13

Woohoo, well done arch!! 🏆
Soft Flowers hope you feel more 'with it' soon

Down another 2lbs today so that's 5.2 in total Grin

HairsprayBabe · 04/05/2017 08:15

*Arch" Well Done! StarStarStar

11 dead for me today. This is the last time will go above the 10s that is it I have said it now, so I can't let it slide!

Did very well yesterday, was all lovely and golden, and then I made some low carb crackers that were seriously addictive and nearly ate the whole bloody lot Blush

Still lost from yesterday so can't have been that bad!

runningtogetskinny · 04/05/2017 08:42

Down 2 pounds from Tuesday (so it probably was partly water retention from the 1/2 marathon on Sunday) Still, feel much better that I'm 10st 1.6 feels like back under the 10 is nearer! Thursday to Monday is always my struggle and I tend to regain my Monday to Thursday loss - but not this time, I'm not undoing my hard work!! Smile

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 04/05/2017 09:15

Well done Arch, that is brilliant! Star

Sorry you are feeling down Soft Brew Flowers

I cycled to work today. It took just over half an hour, so with the journey home that's an hour's worth of exercise. I'm going to aim to do that a few times a week.

BitOutOfPractice · 04/05/2017 09:20

I haven't dared weigh myself since the horrific 6lb weekend gain. I'm chicken! I'll do it today at the gym as their scales are slightly kinder!

That's a great result running. Loving the determination

WOOOO well bloody done Arch that is super! And to have gone a whole 600g past your goal without knowing it, how on earth did you manage that?! I'm desperately envious, 600g is a month's work for me these days!

"Broth and Sadness" is such a super phrase, I am so pinching it Grin

Hairspray I'd be interested to hear the recipe. Sounds dangerous though...!

Beyond and running amazing progress, you're certainly keeping the side up!

Bad day yesterday, good one today. Next week is going to need to be extreme, I can have three golden days before the birthday festivities begin on Thursday. Argh, May is not going to be my month I fear...

TVHubbyClaire · 04/05/2017 10:00

wow well doneArch that is sooo impressive! Smile

I'm 12st 8 3/4 today which i am still pleased about as I haven't shot up back over 12st 10 like I usually do after one good weigh in.

I'm now cutting out desserts in the evenings, following the wise words of Quim and having a coffee and some chocolate.....

I also got in from work at 7.30 last night and got myself out for a 40min walk before dinnerSmile,
I have badminton tonight, am trying to get some kind of exercise each day. So much easier to go out and walk in the nice light evenings....just can't get the motivation back to go running

QuimReaper · 04/05/2017 10:09

Sounds like you're doing amazingly TV, as BOOP says I wouldn't rush into getting that shirt adjusted! Grin

I've been meaning to ask you how you've been getting on with the dessert thing, how's it been?

HairsprayBabe · 04/05/2017 10:45

Wildly dangerous Quim

1/4 cup Hemp Hearts
1/4 cup milled chia seed/flaxseed or similar
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/3 cup parmesan
1 large egg beaten
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
3 tsp of any herbs spices you like (optional)

mix all dry ingredients,
add egg
stir till forms a dough
roll out very thin between 2 layers of greaseproof paper, I got 3 baking sheets worth
Score into squares

Bake for 15-17 mins at 150C

Break along score lines

Try not to eat them all.

BeyondStrongAndStable · 04/05/2017 11:44

Had to have porridge for breakfast as I ran out of muesli. With whole milk and my last pitiful handful of raspberries. Shopping is here now though :)

Lunch is cheese, spinach and red onion omelette (2 eggs and 25g butter), and then dinner will be my muesli casserole. Maybe an apple somewhere as well.

Going out tonight is cancelled, so don't have to worry about wine-pressure Grin

FreeNiki · 04/05/2017 12:54

I feel a bit shitty now.

Hot PT was a bit meh in my session today. He didn't really chat much other than exercise related.

We did establish he is not gay though as he mentioned a dating incident a couple of years ago.

TVHubbyClaire · 04/05/2017 13:08

Quim I haven't been perfect. Sad

Tonight will be third in a row and most weeks its been two or 3 across a whole week so there is progress.

I am having a piece of fudge and chocolate with coffee though.....Blush.

I'm sure its still better than what I had beforeHmm
