Cottage cheese yes, not sure about boursain might be ok, would have to check the label

Ok so we are having egg muffins for lunches all three days (eggs whisked up bit of cheese and baked in the oven till golden)
Egg "pasta" and cream cheese sauce on Monday
Cream cheese crepes on Tuesday
Cheesy scrambled egg on Wednesday

Boiled eggs and babybel for snacks if we want them

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 13:19

It may turn out that I cannot be bothered to make the pasta or crepes, in which case it will be omelettes and scrambled egg interchangeably Grin

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 13:21

Awesome ideas Hairspray! I don't have it figured out yet.

I am stuck. Stuck stuckington stuck. I'm the mayor of Stucksville.

How is that possible? I know I had an indulgent birthday weekend, but I've had two platinum fast days and so much walking yesterday Angry Sad

Roll on egg fast, I need this...!

runningtogetskinny · 19/05/2017 14:01

I absolutely HATE eggs in any form (other than cake Wink) but follow with interest!

Stellar67 · 19/05/2017 14:02

Yes I'm in!
What do I have to buy on Amazon? What do I need, apart from eggs...

Stellar67 · 19/05/2017 14:04

there's an Egg Fast Forum and everything Grin

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 14:13

Eggs, cheese, fats and oils eg butter or olive oil
That is it, sounds so simple!

Stellar67 · 19/05/2017 14:13

Sorry I'm multiple posting while catching up.

Eggs and babybels.

Hairspray I'm with you. Can't be eating smelly food in our staff room. Will have to eat loads of babybels, then the dinner lady will catch wind and she will force feed me stodge. Hmm. Can we eat salad leaves with babybels hidden.

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 14:15

no leaves, literally those three things only, plus some low carb condiments like mustard, or hot sauce in vair small quantities.

Could you pre-make an omelette at home and bring in in slices?

Stellar67 · 19/05/2017 14:19

Oh yes, cold omelette. That won't be too bad. Or egg muffins.

I think I have it. I love cheese. I must make sure I don't overdo the cheese.

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 14:28

Stellar can you slip off for lunch for those days, say you have errands to run?

I made a fab veg frittata last night, of which DH is taking a huge whack of into work, and as far as I can tell it doesn't smell and is great cold - I'm sure it'd be just as portable and un-smelly without the veg! I used Cheddar, blobs of goat's cheese and a sprinkle of Parmesan to get a crust, so very on-plan...

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 14:36

I will have to be very very careful with the cheese aspect of this fast i suspect!

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 15:05

DH is getting chips when he does the school run Envy

I'm having a tin of soup.

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 15:15

Hairspray I think I'm going to control myself by having hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs during the day, and only allow myself cheese in my evening meal. BabyBels as snacks I'll allow...

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 15:16

Beyond I must say, the steeley self-control you've demonstrated lately is fucking inspirational! I could never have pulled off any of your feats Grin

Stellar67 · 19/05/2017 15:46

Quim I work in a school in the middle of a poor housing estate. Nowhere to go really. I don't mind, I'll just bring some febreeze Grin

I will also limit cheese and remind myself it's the egg diet, not the cheese diet.

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 16:11

Cheese diet sounds good... Grin

Quim, I can do steely self control, but only for a short period!! then I go crazy eating All The Food

Plan is to stay on track for an extra week after May ends, til I go away. Then will try to make "good choices" with what's available, and then carry on BSDing for a bit when I get back.

readyforsunshine · 19/05/2017 17:05

Oo where are you going beyond or have you already told us? I'm a bit like Dory these days Grin
Well done on another loss * you're on 🔥
I didn't manage my steps yesterday, totally flaked having over done it, could barely raise my head Sad felt better this morning luckily & had a good day. Going out for a walk as a family tonight then pub dinner.
I would join you on the egg fast but I'm not supposed to go on any ketogenic or restrictive plans, healthy eating & exercise only, it's going to take forever.........
Quiet day tomo then another ode with dd on Sunday. Have a good w/e all

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 17:15

I can't remember if I've said either Grin
I'm off to download festival (and taking both kids!)

I know what you mean about tiredness - I met my daytime step goal yesterday and then had a four hour afternoon doze - then finished my steps when I woke up. It's a bugger :(

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 19/05/2017 18:24

I am tempted to join the egg fast but I have a day of exams on Tuesday and I would be worried about... side effects. Plus I am not low carbing, so I'm not sure that the weight would stay off.

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 18:51

I had a load of eggs come with the shopping just now, and I looked at them and thought "hmm........" Grin

leesmum · 19/05/2017 20:41

The Egg diet is definitely worth a go for most of you...sadly not for me because eggs brings my eczema out terribly Sad don't suppose creme eggs would have the same effect Grin

Softpebbles · 19/05/2017 21:11

Easter egg diet - I did that one for three days in April. Results weren't great 😂

Archduke · 20/05/2017 00:57

Egg diet?! - you've all gawn mad Grin

Honestly it will be chuff city here next week.

Have you tried zucchini slice? All Australians are mad for it over here, I never had it in the UK (but maybe it's everywhere and I just led a sheltered life). It's basically egg and courgette cooked in the oven but is nice cold and easily transportable. Could work on your mad eggy diet.

Just done Parkrun got a PB 26:27!

I've also gone a bit mad on Medjool dates, I've given up sweets and choc (mostly) and these are like catnip to me. V fattening tho so trying to limit my intake.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 20/05/2017 08:47

Well done Arch! That's brilliant!

Weighed in this morning after being really good all week (I even resisted offers of wine last night) and I have lost 200g Hmm DP and I are off out to dinner this evening so I don't think today will be very successful either! I am going to go to the gym later this morning though.
