My PT complimented me on my weight loss yesterday and said even if it doesn't show on the scales, it will in the measurement as I have been building muscle! I am taking that as an NSV!

Hello all, have been lurking here a little while. I have a significant amount of weight to lose (4st) to get to a healthy weight. I've successfully lost 11lbs in past few weeks so that's something.

I'm a single parent and work full time with a baby/toddler (17m) so what I've been doing is drinking a Protein Works meal replacement shake in the morning, eating something at Pret at lunchtime and another shake in the evening plus a few office snacks here and there which I need to curb. I was so tired to start with and starving hungry so I bought some appetite suppressants and they have been working brilliantly. No longer have that 'so hungry I'm going to vomit' feeling that I was having before. I was used to also drinking a couple of glasses of wine most evenings which I have swapped for Yogi tea.

Found myself buying some eggs, butter and cheese yesterday Blushso may be joining the egg fast.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I've been piling the weight on recently after some personal problems but now have the strength to take control.

Unfortunately my life is very sedentary - leave home at 7.15 and drop my son to the childminders, then commute into London for desk job in which I sit down all day and the home for 6ish so then do bedtime stuff and sit on the couch until I fall asleep. Rinse, repeat 5 days per week. Not sure how to add activity in?

Recently started leaving the house again at weekends so have started listening to podcasts while pushing the pram which keeps me entertained.

I indulged in McDonalds chicken legend meal followed by McFlurry last night(though my only other food all day was a can of soup so overall not too disastrous), I was lead astray by DD who is trying to gain a few pounds Blush. However, I have just ran 6 miles in the hope of burning most of it off Smile

Sorry been missing wouldn't let me sign in for days but I have been reading.

I have had a fabulously golden week and weigh in this morning was -3lbs Shock (that does not include the gain from last week) I'm really chuffed with that!

I am so tempted to join in with the egg fast but I know I will either get so hungry on the first day and say sod it or I will make it but then after the last day I will binge.
But I'm so tempted for the weight loss!!!

Sorry I haven't mentioned anyone by time but that post would be way to long with a couple of days missing

Incredible PB Archie well done, and well done on the run aArsey and especially you -BOOP - running on holiday, that's hardcore! I'm SO jealous of your lovely jaunt, hope you have an amazing time!

Archie we are mad aren't we Grin if it gets the weight loss rolling I'm OK with that though. Unfortunately it's madder than you realise as we can't eat veg or anything, so the zucchini slice is out, but it sounds like something I should have in my arsenal!

So what is the opposite to the Angel Week I had last week, a Devil Week? Cos that bastard devil has force fed me all week, he/she hasn't stopped throwing food down my throat. At this rate I'll be thrown off this thread! Going to try again tomorrow. Just how many pounds can one person gain in a week? I just might take the prize at weighin tomorrow. I am dreading it but will be very honest and confess all then you can decide if I have to leave by the back door, horns, tail and all. 👹

I ate pure garbage yesterday, pizza, cake, choccy and popcorn Blush I don't even know why I ate the chocolate and popcorn but I couldn't stop shoveling it in!

Eurgh 10.10 this morning, will have to be good today or "Egg Fest 2017" will be a bloody shock to the system 😂

I had a happy meal today... Blush cheeseburger, small chips and Diet Coke...
Still under 1000 cals total for the day though. Will make extra sure I get my steps (plus I've been out for most of the day so that'll burn more calories than sitting on the sofa) and do my Pilates.

Weighing in tomorrow may not go well!!

That is correct Koko the cheese is optional but you should have minimum 6 eggs and 6tsp of fat a day xo
