Yet another bad day for me! I'm so glad everyone else is doing so well I just wish I could match you all. I've got a meal out tomorrow so there's no way I can catch up this week. I might just go crazy for the whole week and start again on Monday. Feeling quite despondent but very impressed with everyone on here .

QuimReaper · 18/05/2017 22:52

poorpaws sorry you've had a bum day - I'd definitely just get back on the wagon when you can. Before Christmas I got pretty good at "Being Good" all day up until an evening social event, rather than treating the whole day as a write-off - could you try that over the weekend?

I seem to have lost that knack lately Grin

Archduke · 18/05/2017 22:59

Poorpaws either make a really conscious decision to take a break for the weekend and don't feel shit about it. OR stop now and have a lovely healthy active weekend, enjoy your dinner out, and feel fabulous on Monday Grin. We all get sick of being 'good' all the time, you can allow yourself a break without feeling out of control.

Kiki I know you feel very up and down at the moment but congratulations on -12lbs! That's fantastic Flowers

Softpebbles · 19/05/2017 07:14

11st 2. I finally feel getting back in the 10's is achievable. My goodness this has been a long game. Worst of it is I have stopped any kind of plan and just cut down on snacking and tried to move more. I'm useless if I try and be really strict. I suppose I loosely follow slimming world.....

I'm hoping to of lost a little more as period is starting. Sad

I could live a few days on eggs if it comes to it!!

Happy Friday slenderistas! X

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 07:55

216.4 today, meaning I'm down 10.2 since the start of May and 19.4 since I started in November :)

Stellar67 · 19/05/2017 07:59

2 and a half Linda's down! Woohoo!

Will be celebrating by drinking more water!

Sorry not to namecheck. Have a lovely weekend Slenderistas.

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 08:26

Morning all!

Excellent Work pebbles Come join me in the 10's it is great here! Congrats on the -2lindas Stellar
Niki what is you MFP set to? I know you exercise a lot but if you are still regularly going over then surely that is bound to slow you down, could you try being slightly stricter with calories for a few days see if you get any movement? I thought you weren't supposed to eat back exercise calories.
BOOP those crisps sound positively dangerous !
Great loss there too Beyond what plan are you doing? was it BSD I half remember...
Quim and Paws come back on the wagon, there is plenty of room, we have kept your seats warm, please bring eggs. Grin
Have I missed people? Sorry if I have!

10.8 for me this morning, I seem to be back in "The Zone" only had a silver day yesterday, had a no carb ploughmans for dinner, and then ate a huge handful of macadamia nuts that I didn't need to, but still a loss so I will go with that! -8lbs for the month now and finally starting to offset the terrible April I had!

Loose plans for this weekend include buying new bra's and going to the fair if the weather is nice enough.

runningtogetskinny · 19/05/2017 08:53

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! Beyond, 10.2 this month is amazing!!! I'm trying to keep carbs to a minimum, this usually works for me but feels very slow at the moment Confusedhas anyone used ketone sticks? Might try them, only 2 weeks to my holiday and I'd love to be well under 10st by then x

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 09:01

Yep it's BSD, with the added fun of going veggie

I'm finding it really easy, I might carry on once the month ends. Though I'll add a bottle of low cal wine in per week so my friends don't get worried!!

I badly need new bras - I bought new just before I started losing weight and there's been definite boob loss Grin

I've not used keto sticks running, any time I've done biwis bootcamp ive seen people told that you should be drinking enough water when in ketosis that you'd struggle to get a positive result anyway

TVHubbyClaire · 19/05/2017 09:21

ooooops Blush - 12 st 10 this morning.thats a 2 linda increase, I did have a bigger dinner last night because I was starving after badminton, hopefully a positive weekend will help get back into single numbers.

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 09:37

I am a BSD veggie too! It is hard to find variety at first but man it works!

I would say it is the best diet I have ever been on but it is the only diet I have ever been on Grin

We could start with 3 on Monday if anyone else is interested, but I don't eat breakfast is that an issue? And I am worried boiled eggs/egg salad would be pretty stinky in the office so need to consider what I would have at lunch time.

Also AF is on her way, I think she should be here properly in the next day or so, haven't had any of my usual bloat though weirdly.

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 11:16

I'm doing three days starting Monday, I would love a posse! Grin

Hairspray for my sins, I don't actually plan to be too strict on the "you must eat 8 eggs per day and x amount of butter per egg" stuff, so I wouldn't worry about breakfast. I'm just going to eat all my meals as egg and cheese, and I've ordered a milk frother to try out Bulletproof Coffee too. Theoretically there's no veg on the egg fast (!) but couldn't you just put the boiled eggs in an airtight tupperware and pop off somewhere to scarf them down?

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 11:17

This is the blog post I'm using for reference, if anyone's missed it! The writer did 5 days but I'm just starting with 3. (Because I'm going to the cinema on Thursday, and also because I'm worried I'll get scurvy.)

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 11:27

running Ketostix are fun but they don't really "help", they just tell you what you already know - that you're in Ketosis. I heard the same thing about them not working because of water intake, but that wasn't my experience when I used them for a spell last year - I was positively mainlining fluids and still got a reading on the Ketostix. (I only used them for the first pee of the day though, for that reason.)

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 11:30

I meant like an egg mayo thing rather than eggs and leaves type salad.
I thought about pre-cooking some egg cream cheese crepes, that could work? Use them as a wrap for a little more cheese and butter filling?

How much is an ounce of cheese in grams?

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 11:37

Yes Hairspray I think that's a great idea to pre-cook crepes - I did a bit of a read around old MN threads and there were a few people taking them to work! The egg mayo "salad" thing also sounds like a hit.

I think 1oz is about 25g.

QuimReaper · 19/05/2017 11:40

So is it just me, Hairspray and koko? Stellar you were pondering it weren't you? Fancy it?

HairsprayBabe · 19/05/2017 11:41

Right need to come up with a menu then!

I have a feeling I will never want to see an egg again after this XD

Egg crepes are very nice, especially if made with Boursin...

BeyondStrongAndStable · 19/05/2017 11:48

(Realise that doesn't solve the stinky food problem though!)

runningtogetskinny · 19/05/2017 12:46

Thanks quim, ive ordered some from Amazon they're coming tomorrow. If I'm using them it might help me focus on avoiding sugar - going to read up on bsd when I get the chance. I've 2 weeks to my hols 😬
