TV listen to the wise words of quim about protein based breakfast. I think a boiled egg with tons of salt on would be a much more satisfying breakfast. You can boil them the night before if you're pushed for time. I always have a protein heavy breakfast now and I feel so much fuller for longer

No he is a fully paid up member of the carnivore club, but I am in charge so we eat what I decide.

He usually has meat sandwiches for lunch and bacon for breakfast at the weekend. If we eat out or order in he will have meat, but I do all the cooking and cba to cook meat when I don't eat it myself.

quim dukan is the only diet I've ever done until I regained weight when I got ill two years ago. I lost about a stone in 8 weeks then lost a further 5-7 lbs loosely following it & upping my exercise. I felt great! It is v restrictive but certainly worked well & you are not at all hungry. It taught me quite a lot about hunger as I'd feel like I 'needed' something but when all that was on offer was lo fat cottage cheeses, a boiled egg or a piece of chicken I soon realised it wasn't real hunger!
I still follow some principles like the oatbran & having protein if I need a snack. I would def do it again but I feel I need a sensible diet to get myself as well as possible.

Just had my dinner - Linda McCartney chorizo and red pepper sausages with broccoli and cheese sauce.
Day comes in at 872 calories. :)

I'm just out of a spin class. Bloody hell it was hard. Back down to lowest weight again. Just in time for another weekend of pre-birthday jollity to come

sunshine excellent result! I was just intrigued by the Pure Protein "attack phase" to give my body a bit of a kick, I'm thinking of doing three days next week.

It's pouring here (probably everywhere) and I haven't been out so my step count is minute for today Sad Food has been good though.

I meant to say also I agree, when you can't have the thing you're craving it's amazing how quickly you find the craving is just that, and you can just as easily do without.

It's amazing how little chocolate I eat since I stopped letting myself have it in the week. DH bought me a Hotel Chocolat selection bag thing and some Champagne Truffles and he's stumped as to why I haven't eaten any of it yet.

I have on occasion gone back to it & have done the pure protein to give me the instant loss motivation & it really does work. It's also handy for a quick burst slim down to fit back into something that's a bit snug! However, as he says himself it is largely water loss so is likely to come back if you don't stick at it. I would say it would be good for a plateau but then try to stick to proteins & green veg to get some real fat loss, especially if you're exercising alongside it. Good luck🍀

Blush my healthy choices for dinner didn't really happen.
Had a chicken burger... grasping at straws that is slightly healthy than beef right? Still had fries and shared a pudding. So that was a fail but am determined to get straight back to it tomorrow and not have this as an excuse to go off track and ruin weigh in this week.

A three day egg fast?? How fast is the food intake trend moving?

I can, actually do a three day egg fast, as I have hens. But I can't eat just boiled eggs. I need butter, mayo, bacon.....

Egg bound is very real, bless them. I love our girls, most of them lay an egg daily. I couldn't do that. A few are just here for the food. Don't blame them.

Love the recipe hairspray.

My day had been terrible. Ate hula hoops, ice cream, all the rubbish. Has helped my sore throat. I'm all croaky. Not sexy croaky, just crabbit croaky.

Oh and a weird NSV. I need to go down a tights size I think. The waist band used to hit at the waist and left marks as it dug in a bit. Now when I put my tights on, the waist band pulls up comfortably to under my bra line!

ready i have a similar problem, I think I was too embarassed as to how much i weighed when i first started and I think i started posting here with a weight of 13st 5. I'm pretty sure i was heavier 6 days out of 7 but I guess typing it in would have been harder.....

Now I wish I had because I would be close to a full stone loss by now

Morning all 10.9 for me today **
Back to my pre-london weight and 7lbs off for the month, would love a few more to offset my gain from last month, but I clocked myself in the mirror this morning and thought something along the lines of "Daaamn Girrrl!"

I am now 7lbs from my secondary goal weight, have lost 4st8 and that is 30.8% of my original body weight!

Oh and I am NEVER going back into the 11's again. Full stop.

Morning all! Just checking in.

I had to get the bus into work today as it was chucking it down when I left yesterday and I couldn't face the cycle home Blush. Will be cycling home later though! I also managed to leave my lunch in the fridge at home Confused so not a very successful day so far!

Aiming for about 1500 calories today, then a fast day tomorrow and a weigh in Saturday morning.
