Arch I know I'm a bit late with this but as a massive dog lover I just had to comment that I am so delighted your dog is okay. I don't think I would have coped and it would've been a whole bottle of gin ( I don't even like gin).

Niki you are sounding a little bit brighter now which I am really pleased about. please try to stay positive if you can.

Another golden day here to report. I agree with everyone else we all seem to be pulling out all the stops in May.

Had a good day so far today, although have been so busy I only managed to eat breakfast at 3.30pm. Had a surprise 2nd interview (as thought I'd stuffed up the first one) for what would be a great job so fingers crossed for me please. This morning I did a quick run down and then walk/run up our local mountain, am totally exhausted now. Far too tired to do the housework.

Squiffy I'm having a wobble too. I'd been doing so well down to 11,10.4 then a massive bag of chocolate buttons and cheese yesterday has pushed me back to 11,11.0. I did go do 30 mins at gym yesterday though including running 1.5km. So baby steps compared to you lot (who are all very inspiring btw) but I'm going in the right direction. Back on it big time today to get it back to 11,10 tomorrow!

Na added sugar muesli with added berries is my go to (blueberries today) with whole milk and a giant cup of lemon and ginger tea. I'm gonna portion up foodbags to take camping next month so I can at least keep breakfast on track Grin

Helloo newbies - and well done those just starting - it may feel like a long journey but honestly, it's so worth it and this thread is great for keeping on track.

Well done Hairspray on -3lbs, awesome.

Squiffy don't stress about the chocolate blip - just get back on the horse and keep going.

Beyond giving wine a swerve when in company is really hard, you need to be SUPER FIRM as people imhe will try and twist your arm. It sucks.

Quim..thanks for your thoughts on LC..that's my worry. I'll have egg mayo thinking..mmmmmmm mayo, easy this dieting lark, then eat something not strictly LC knowing that I'll never get to ketosis cos I'm eating big dollops of mayo with everything.

I'm going to reduce the fat and do low carbish..just see how it goes! At least I'm eating mindfully.

11k steps yesterday..a pb apparently and I did cycle to work this morning.

Laughed this morning to myself at being down a "Linda " though not taking it to be strictly true...it being day one n all! Grin
