Yesterday had half a bowl of porridge, half a tub of M&S cream of tomato soup with a roll, jacket potato with tuna, asparagus and carrots. snacks were grapes and an apple.

Today the same but two eggs scrambled instead of porridge and dinner will be cottage pie with veg.

Thought I had piled on the weight after going off the boil last week/weekend but still 10 st 5 and back is betterish now so am exercising again. 2 mile run and yoga yesterday, 2 mile walk today.

Flashinthepan · 04/04/2017 13:20

Meal planning is life-saving for so many reasons! I like the idea of doing it to find when to eat some treats though Wenchelda!

Notsoskinnyminny · 04/04/2017 17:53

Been out for lunch, shared a chocolate, fudgey, profiteroley, creamy sundae - will not be logging today's food Blush but ... did drink diet coke so not as bad as it could've been!

I'm not very good at meal planning but do prepare a lot of veggies on Sundays big tupperware of roasted veg and another with cauli or cabbage which saves a lot of faffing when I come in from work late. If I'm under my calories I'll have a baked potato or some biscuits and if not I pile my plate with veg.

triangularchocolate · 04/04/2017 21:51

I've been on a bit of a binge since the wedding so daren't weigh myself at the mo... I will get back on it though as I feel gross. I'm back at work in 7 weeks so that's my next deadline - I'd like to be under 12.5st by then but need to not lose control between now and Easter (which also coincides with my birthday and DS's 1st birthday). In my head it should be easier to be healthy when the weather improves but in reality the first sign of sunshine makes me want to go out for lunches and sit in beer gardens - whoops! Well done to everyone who's keeping at it - that's the way to win this battle!

Bibs2014 · 04/04/2017 23:08

I've had a good day - shredded wheat, ss milk, jacket and chilli for lunch with salad, spag bol and salad for dinner. Snacked on a couple of belvitas and nuts.

MillieMoodle · 05/04/2017 07:05

Day was mediocre yesterday. Had no breakfast as was in a rush. A cream cake at my parents' house, 2 tongue rolls, a bag of crisps and a yoghurt for lunch and a Chinese takeaway for dinner as DH was home really late. Could have been better but could have been a lot worse!

Today am meeting up with a friend so there will be cake involved but will try not to overdo it. Am down to 11st 5lbs again today so for the time being I am blaming my fluctuating weight on the new Pill I am on; I think the last couple of days has been bloatedness rather than anything else

I find it so difficult not to eat junk in the school hols!

Lapinlapin · 05/04/2017 10:57

I'm down 2lbs this week so am now 11st4. Am aiming to see a 10 on the scales by the end of the month!

I'm seriously wondering whether I should stick with the no sugar until I reach my target weight. Probably ... but I do want to eat chocolate again over Easter!

Well done Lapin!!

Flashinthepan · 06/04/2017 16:19

Maybe let yourself have chocolate on easter Sunday and then save whatever you have left until you reach target Lapin? And well done so far!

Good week this week continued today: porridge for breakfast, two wraps with tomato, feta and capers for lunch, banana and dried fruit for snacks and dinner will be feta and beetroot quiche with crispy chard and roasted broccli.

SmellTheGlove · 07/04/2017 15:00

Official weigh in today 11.8 and a half. I've a week to go til my trip and wanted to be 11.8 at least so I should make that. I want to get down to 11.2 really but fully anticipate coming back from the USA at LEAST 7lbs up. I'll be walking a lot in NYC but the rest of the trip is visiting family upstate and no one walks anywhere! The houses are all too far away from each other. They even have a bank drive thru in town which makes me laugh...

Wenchelda · 07/04/2017 16:41

My week started really well with but seems to have gone off track the last couple of days. Plus my midweek weigh showed a slight gain (which I was very unhappy about as that was before I'd gone over!) So not expecting much for Sunday's weigh in.

Then next week we are away and the food is all catered for us all week so it's highly likely I will put some weight on. Will try not to go overboard and keep damage to a minimum!

MillieMoodle · 07/04/2017 17:22

This week has been a disaster so far. DS2 isn't sleeping so neither am I, and then in the day time I'm so hungry all I seem to do is snack. Aargh. Need to get my willpower back!

Lapinlapin · 08/04/2017 08:23

Flash that's a good idea. Think I might do that. Glad you're having a good week.

Good luck with tomorrow's weigh in wench

Smell that's great that you're almost at your target for your trip. Have a great time! A bank drive thru actually sounds genious to me. When dc1 was a baby I really started to wish we had shops where I didn't need to get him in and out the car!

Millie sorry about the sleep. I have exactly the same problem where l need to snack when I'm tired. I think you just get so desperate for energy that if it can't come from sleep it has to come from chocolate food.

Sounds like most of you are doing well.

I am back from Italy and weigh 11:12 Sad

Points angrily at the Tiramisu

Wenchelda · 09/04/2017 08:13

Morning all - just quickly checking in to log my weight this morning ... 9st 8 & 3/4 so just under a lb lost this week Confused Thiugh I guess I shouldn't be surprised as despite being really good at the start of the week, the end of the week kind of went to pot.

Anyway I'm off on hol this week so won't be "here" logging any food - will try to be good but will expect to be a bit heavier when I'm back!

Notsoskinnyminny · 09/04/2017 09:03

Enjoy your holidays wench and smell. My week of over indulgence has resulted in a 5.5lb gain Shock moderation is obviously not in my vocabulary!

In work for a couple of days next week which should stop some of the mindless eating but a boozy night planned with the girls midweek and another night away with DH at the end of the week.

MillieMoodle · 09/04/2017 17:55

Wench and smell I hope you both have lovely hols!

Notso I daren't weigh myself as I've been absolutely atrocious this week. I've really pigged out and it's TOTM as well so I dread to think how much weight I've put on.

The warm weather this weekend has given me my willpower back I think. I don't want to wear short sleeves or skirts/shorts as I feel too big, so I've got to shrink a bit before I can enjoy the good weather properly and not worry so much about what I'm wearing or how I look. I have been boiling all weekend in jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt but I don't want to get my arms/legs out even in my own garden. So I need to use that as my motivation as I don't want to be miserable (or melting) when the weather is so lovely.

Tomorrow it starts again in earnest as I'm running out of time before the summer hols!

Bibs2014 · 09/04/2017 20:08

I managed an sts this week but had a food filled weekend for sisters birthday and my wedding anniversary!

Joined the gym tho so that will help!!

MillieMoodle · 10/04/2017 08:45

Starting as I mean to go on this morning; tea, actimel and cornflakes for breakfast.

Am full of cold again, as is DS2, so need to stay away from the junk food today!

Flashinthepan · 10/04/2017 10:17

10 st 4. A pound off from last weigh in. And thought I had gained as weight has fluctuated between 10.6 and 10.8 all week. Hoping for 10 st by end of the month. Hoped I would hit it by Easter, but I am losing, and that's what counts.

Bibs2014 · 10/04/2017 13:30

Planned menu for today - shredded wheat, semi skimmed milk, chicken salad, omelette and veg, a gym session EEEEK!

Bibs2014 · 11/04/2017 23:34

Today's menu

Shredded wheat, strawberries, milk. Toddler's leftover brioche.

Harvester for lunch - half chicken, rice, salad, corn on the cob. One of their tiny brown bread rolls.

Chickpea curry, rice, Greek yoghurt for dinner.

Lapinlapin · 12/04/2017 07:37

Hope you're having a great holiday wench.

Todays menu

Lunch was spinach, chickpea and aubergine, bulgar wheat with green beans, cous cous and beetroot, shredded cabbage, chicken, halloumi and pitta – stuffed!
Chickpea curry and rice if needed!
Fruit for snacks

happypoobum · 12/04/2017 15:13

Well done flash

Bibs have a Halo

I have done a midweek weigh in which I don't normally do but I have been so rubbish recently. I have lost a pound which is excellent. I went for a really long walk yesterday and had a shitty diet ready meal for dinner.

So far today have had toast for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch, and have no idea yet about dinner - maybe salmon?

I won't have any chocolate over Easter and will regift anything I get.
