Aww thanks guys Smile I've had a lovely day .... been out for afternoon tea and then Chinese for dinner so very bad food-wise but lovely to not have to cook all day!

Notsoskinnyminny · 06/06/2017 07:47

Day 1 of the wench-notso challenge

Starting weight 9st 7.5lb

B - wheatabix and banana
L - 2 skinless chicken thighs, egg, salad and hot tomato salsa, lf Greek yoghurt and strawberries
D - pork loin, cauli and roasted pepper/courgette/mushroom
S - 200ml milk, Clementine, tidgy Apple
E - will walk dog if it stops chucking it down but she's a fairweather dog Grin

Will try and drink 2l of water but it's freezing here so not promising anything. MFP says 900 cals so will have a flavoured latte and some crackers and lf philly later to up cals.

MillieMoodle · 06/06/2017 16:50

Down to 11st 4lbs today. Been quite good so far.
B - 2 weetabix with skimmed milk, tea, actimel
S - half a maple/pecan slice, skinny latte
L - 4 ryvita with cottage cheese, 2 small tomatoes, peach/apricot fruit corner
Dinner will be shepherd's pie and broccoli.

Must start my 30 day shred again today!

Wenchelda · 06/06/2017 18:51

Notso how many calories are you allowing yourself on MFP? Mine is 1500 and that's had me slowly losing but think I may have to make it fewer for our 3 week challenge!

B- weetabix with milk, tea
L - fruit scone with clotted cream and jam Blush (leftover from yesterday's birthday afternoon tea) , latte
D - salmon, new potatoes, green beans and peas. Small can of cider.

happypoobum · 06/06/2017 18:57

The Wench Vs Notso Challenge

It's on!!!

Wench you cannot possibly expect Notso to give you accurate responses to questions like that when you are AT WAR Grin

Notsoskinnyminny · 06/06/2017 19:13

I'm sticking to 1200 mon-thurs and will go up to 1600 at the weekend so I can have Wine

happy this is a supportive war with hopefully lots of mutual are kicking Grin

Wenchelda · 06/06/2017 19:37

Well I'm not even going to attempt 1200 as I tried that when we first started this thread and it was basically impossible! I was sticking to 1400 before Xmas but have lapsed to 1500 now so will have to pull myself in line!

MillieMoodle · 06/06/2017 22:42

Ooh, fight, fight, fight! Grin

Have done my 30 day shred tonight and level one is much easier than it was when I started. Am amazed at the difference, especially as I haven't been doing every day. So will be doing it daily from now on, with a rest day one day at the weekend.

MFP tells me that if every day was like today I'd lose 7lbs in 5 weeks which would be fabulous! I think I've got a little bit more toned around my ribs if that makes sense? I've always been quite slim there and I've noticed in the last week that it seems more like it used to around that bit of me. Still got a massive arse and thighs though!

Wenchelda · 07/06/2017 19:40

Midweek weigh in this morning has me the same as Sunday but I'm happy with that after all the cake at afternoon tea on Monday! Hoping for some movement down the scales in the next few days.

B - weetabix, milk, tea
L - 2 hard boiled eggs, "protein pot" from aldi containing edamame (sp?) beans and sugar snap peas; latte
D - chicken korma, 1.5 poppadoms and half a naan bread.
S - hot choc at bedtime.

Under my cals today thanks to my Fitbit adjustment for my steps walked.

Smile
happypoobum · 07/06/2017 19:45

Midweek weigh in, 11:0 Hooray!!!!!

If I can get below 11 stone by the time I go away on Monday I will be ecstatic!!

MillieMoodle · 07/06/2017 23:12

Well done happy! Fingers crossed for you.

Wench well done to you too, it's quite nice when you can eat cake but your weight doesn't go up!

Not a bad day here:
B - tea, actimel, 2 wholemeal toast and marmite
L - 6 crackerbread, cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes. Then Greek yoghurt with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
D - fried rice with cashew nuts, mushroom chow mein, chicken in hoi sin sauce. Sounds bad but I only had 1/4 of a usual sized portion and it still filled me up.

Have done my shred this evening and I can almost manage the whole of level 1 without stopping to catch my breath. Small progress, but progress nonetheless!

SmellTheGlove · 08/06/2017 07:37

Scales are stuck! Not sure why as I've been UNDER my calories for most of the past week. Bit disheartened actually. I'm also exhausted despite getting lots of sleep. Bah.

Wenchelda · 08/06/2017 11:34

Morning all, slight shift downwards on the scales this morning so things are heading in the right direction Smile

Just been shopping to spend some of my birthday money and got 2 new tops - VERY happy to be able to buy things marked as "small" for the first time in years.

Food today is -
B - 2 weetabix with milk, banana & strawberries. Tea.
L - using my birthday Costa voucher so goats cheese panini and flavoured (skinny) latte
D - spag bol

And maybe a snack/treat later if all that leaves me any cals when I put it into MFP!

Wenchelda · 08/06/2017 17:27

Aargh i just ate a mini pork pie before checking the calories. 201!!! Shock wtf?! It was so tiny it was gone in a couple of bites. Totally not worth it! I'll have to get some extra steps in now to keep me under my limit! Confused

happypoobum · 08/06/2017 18:01

wench They are lovely though aren't they? Just do some star jumps or something!

Millie Is your arse muscly big or lardy big?
Mine is lardy big and I have made quite a difference to it by doing arse cheek clenches when I am driving. I just do it in time (slowly, like pilates timing and depth) to the music on the radio when I am at traffic lights or stuck in traffic. Only been doing it about three weeks but I can honestly feel the difference.

Probably not much help if you have a lovely muscly arse already though - although that's very trendy you know Wink

Notsoskinnyminny · 08/06/2017 18:53

Laughing at happy doing bum clenches in the car as it reminds me of a frirnd who clenches somewhere else when shes driving - i couldnt look her DH in the eye for weeks after she told me Blush

Down 1lb since tuesday. Food today
B - wheatabix and banana
L - crust less quiche and salad
D - chilli chicken bake and noodles
S - 2 mini jammy dodgers, 2 crackers & philly
Need to log on mfp and see what I've got left.

MillieMoodle · 08/06/2017 18:58

Happy it's quite a muscly arse, I do the bum clench things and always have done. My mother describes it as a "sticky out bum". And I have what my dad describes as "hockey player's thighs"; they're big and solid rather than big and wobbly. My parents don't do tactful. Grin

happypoobum · 08/06/2017 19:08

Ah well, just keep telling yourself you have the body of a Kardashian - shame it's not their bank balance eh?

Wenchelda · 08/06/2017 19:59

Lol at you all doing secret bum clenches! I am definitely going to start doing this!

SmellTheGlove · 10/06/2017 07:33

I've put on another pound! How? HOW??? I have been under or at calorie limit and walking loads. Please excuse TMI but I suffer with constipation/ibs and I've finally tried talking an ibs friendly laxative called movicol. Taken it for 2 days but not done much. It works by drawing water into the bowel so could it be water retention? . No amount of bum clenches are going to help I fear!

MillieMoodle · 10/06/2017 09:05

Smell it probably is water retention. I get it at my TOTM and can easily put on another couple of pounds.

Spectacular failure yesterday - too many biscuits, pizza and chips for dinner. Aargh.

Have a million things to do round the house today though, so hopefully will do 10,000 steps easily!

Notsoskinnyminny · 10/06/2017 10:02

millie are your exercise calories showing in MFP - my UP is pulling through my meals and adding exercise calories but i liked how mfp updated whenever you did some exercise.

smell you should see a loss when movicol gets things moving properly and regular. When I took it I felt worse for a week as I was just as windy but had a different sort of bloating - even my fingers.

Still on track but probably because the fridge is empty Grin

MillieMoodle · 10/06/2017 12:12

Notso no mfp isn't pulling my steps through as hasn't been for about 2 weeks. It's driving me mad!

Wenchelda · 10/06/2017 17:33

Today is the first day this week I've been over my calories apart from my birthday last Monday which doesn't count, right? - tipped over today as I've been at work, which involves mostly sitting so haven't got my steps in and mainly because I just really fancied and bacon and avocado sandwich for tea! Scales this morning weren't too favourable but hoping "official" weigh in tomorrow is better!

Wenchelda · 11/06/2017 07:11

Seriously pissed off. Been under my cals 5 days out of 7 this week and all I've lost is a measly quarter of a pound Angry 9st 7.5 today AngryAngryAngry Hope everyone else is doing better. How are you going Notso?
