Well done millie - I completed the 30 day shred a couple of years ago and it's bloomin hard work! Killed me to keep it up for the whole 30 days!

Sort of ok day today - cornflakes for breakfast, 2 cheese and cucumber rolls for lunch plus a slice of MIL's birthday cake. Dinner was McDonalds though. Oops. Have done day 2 of 30 days shred. I think my leg muscles are broken!

Morning all .. well DS's birthday celebrations have spread over several days and I haven't been logging my food as there has been far too much Blush Must try to get back to it from today ... I find it much harder when DH and the kids are around though as they want to eat all the yummy calorific stuff that I'm trying to avoid. Hopefully better after half term but then it's my birthday so there will be lots more cake

Wench I find it loads harder when DH is around. It's half term here this week so I'm doing ok so far - better than I thought I'd be! Hope your DS had a fab birthday and hope you have a lovely one too, and are very spoilt!

Smell I was ok yesterday after day 1, but I could feel my legs seizing up last night as was I doing day 2. I am hobbling a bit today but trying to stretch a bit and trying to focus on the size 8 body I am definitely going to end up with Hmm

Well I had lost a pizza pound but then I ate a big bag of haribo and a whole tube of pringles last night and I'm back up to 11.10. Sigh.

Midweek weigh in yesterday was 11:2 so had lost a pound. However, it's DDs 20th birthday tomorrow so food will be eaten and cocktails will be drunk..................................

Didn't do shred yesterday or Wednesday as I actually couldn't move my legs properly! Am ok today though so will start it again. I think it is going to be a long process!

All I can say about this week is there's been Cake lots of Wine and Gin and far too many Biscuit but according to my up thingy I've done 1million steps since Feb Grin

In a mardy mood because I thought DH would've arranged for us to go away for a couple of days after me dropping loads of hints for the past couple of weeks but obviously I need to adopt the sledgehammer approach or do what I usually do and book somewhere myself.

Notso my DH isn't one for hints either. I have to spell it out if I want him to do anything. Hope you manage to get away somewhere nice!

Have had a couple of iffy days with too many take aways and no exercise. Starting 30 day shred again after 3 rest days Blush so it's back to square one really. It's that TOTM again as well so I'd really rather curl up in a ball and eat chocolate but the holiday countdown is on and none of my clothes fit me yet.

Gah! I think this week is a write off. Not sure I'll even bother weighing tomorrow (though probably will as i have done every Sunday and several other days in between since November) plus Monday is my birthday and we are going out for afternoon tea so that will be an over indulgence too.

Hopefully I can get back to it properly from Tuesday and then I only have 3 weeks left until my deadline Shock don't think I've got any hope of shifting 7lb by then Confused

Gah, today has been pretty awful for me too. Eaten too much junk and another takeaway for tea. I'm starting again from tomorrow. No takeaways, no junk food, exercise DVD and lots of walking. DH will be at work and DS1 at school so I can get some sort of a routine back in place from Monday

Morning all. Waking up to the horrible news from London last night and I can feeling my anxiety creeping back up on me. I hate the way the world feels so scary right now Sad I feel like I want to comfort eat already.

Amazingly though this morning's weigh in has me at 9st 7 and 3/4 - so slightly down from last Sunday and slightly up from midweek. Can't complain at that after all the crap I've eaten this week ... I was definitely expecting a pound or 2 gain so happy to have more or less stayed the same.

STS again but don't know how. wench I'm 1lb ahead of you so reckon we should race to the finish (starting on Tuesday because I'm shopping and lunching again tomorrow).

We packed up DDs uni flat yesterday and my hips still aren't speaking to me - I don't know how many times I went up and down those 3 flights of stairs but I did 16k steps and only 5k of them were walking the dog!

Weighed in - 11:2.

I have a week to lose 9 lbs. Grin I guess I could try to get under 11 stone though before I jet off?

I did try on my swimsuit and I looked far better than last time I wore it. Overall I started at 12.13 so have lost nearly two stone since November. Looking at the bigger picture is helpful but I need to make some progress. Can't see myself losing weight whilst I am away......

Happy almost 2st since November is brilliant. Well done! I wonder if that makes you the biggest loser? Wink I've lost 1.5st. I reckon we need one of those lists again like at the start of the thread, with our starting weights and current weights. I bet it's an enourmous amount lost altogether between us.

Notso - right the race is on! Ideally I want to be 9st by end of June so that means I've got half a stone to go and less than 4 weeks to do it Shock It's my birthday tomorrow so lots of cake will try to be good today and back on it with a vengeance from Tuesday!

I started at 12st and am still only 11st 5lbs so only 9lbs off overall. Target weight is 9st so still got another 2st 5lbs to lose but to be honest I'd be over the moon if I could get to 10st 7lbs by the time I go away. Have got 83 days to go, need to lose 12lbs. On it properly from today. I know I've said that a million times before, but I'm running out of time and need to stop farting around! I might make myself a pretty progress chart that I can colour in each day - sad, but I think that's what will keep me motivated now.

wench I know what you mean I am feeling quite down this morning about it all. DH works in Manchester so was up there for the last attack, and we live in London so it all feels just too close. He has gone off with DS for the day to see my DSS in East London/Essex borders and is on strict orders to stay away from big crowded places. I actually just want to keep everybody here inside the house safe. I want to comfort eat too but I will try not to.
I think we have all done well to lose anything and actually keep it off! I'm still stuck at 11.10 despite sticking to BELOW my calories for the last few days which is frustrating. I have lost 9 pounds too, but actually for me that's amazing, as I had been really plateauing at 12.4/5 for about a year. My BMI is now officially 'normal', and I definitely look slimmer so I'm pretty happy with that. Just wish I could crack this last half stone! May be I need to Shred too millie????!!!

Challenge accepted wench I've got DDs graduation on 11th July and I need to get my dress altered - bought a 14 to accommodate the girls but being a short-arse I need to grow another 2" to fill the shoulders so I'm waiting until the end of June before I get it altered in case I manage to lose that final 1/2 stone. Anyway have a lovely birthday and roll on Tuesday - WE WILL DO IT Grin

I agree with smell by now I'd have yoyoed back to my starting weight. All we need is a bit of discipline and a good kick up the bum to get us going in the right direction again and I need to stop lying to MFP Grin

Am still at 11st 5lbs which is good considering I've done no exercise for a few days. DS1 is back to school today, so I can try to get some sort of a routine back and get the house a bit tidier this week. I've got a million things to do; have so much of the house that needs sorting and cleaning as we are tripping over stuff. Not really sure where to start but hopefully it will all burn a few calories!

Got swimming with DS2 this morning as well, which will hopefully burn a few calories too.
