Hi. Is my timing right for anyone else being ready to start losing weight? For me, the title says it all.

This time I am armed with a fitbit (which I am learning to operate), have paid membership for the local pool, have DH on side, have the Lent excuse ready at work and would love some vipers with which to go through this process.

Is there anyone ready to go, so we can comfort and cajole each other?

Thanks Englishgirl. Yeh I do at the moment but I've got a holiday very soon that I'm working towards. Not sure how I'll fair after.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 02/04/2017 21:44

I'm on holiday in May and my plan is to make sensible choices where I can, then increase my calorie burn to take care of the booze! I'm going to Greece so should be good for plenty of lean meat, salads etc. It'll be the cocktails that tip me over Wink
What's gone wrong indignatio?

Morning all .

Well today is the start of my serious battle with this lard. I have managed to put on weight in March which is rubbish so April has got to be better .

I have watched all the wk1 stuff english and worked out my cals and his approx macros for the first week. If i can't make this work then I will officially give up and just be a fatty forever !

Not giving up Grin

Happy Monday everyone !

Good luck howlong - I feel that way too! If I can't make this work I give up because this seems so obvious and acheivable Smile How many calories have you got? I'm on 1900 but I'm struggling to fill them some days Shock

Hi all sorry not been on here in a while. I've lost another 4lb since I last posted so slow but steady. Still avoiding junk, fizzy drinks etc although I've eaten out a couple of times and just compensated the rest of the day. Generally if I go to bed feeling a bit hungry I know I've done ok.

Planning to start the couch to 5k challenge this week. Will see how I get on! Hope everyone is doing well.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 03/04/2017 15:15

Well done stitch - I think slow and steady is best, more likely to keep it off! My mantra at the moment is 'it didn't go on overnight, it won't come off overnight' Smile

Howlongtillbedtime · 03/04/2017 15:43

I have got 1500 and I tried to work out my macros but I am sticking to what he has set for the first week until I have done a week wearing my fitbit.

Good luck stitch I am on wk5r2 (again) and am hoping to do that today which means the next one is the scary 20min run !

EnglishGirlApproximately · 03/04/2017 16:15

My calories went up loads after getting my Fitbit, you'll be amazed how much you burn!
